This past Sunday, I decided to head over for a morning walk and finally stopped in again. The shop is pretty small with limited seating, so it's not really a place to hang out. It seems more like a grab-and-go coffee spot. There aren't many great coffee shop options in this part of Coronado, so I can definitely see why it's popular with both locals and tourists. I arrived just before the morning rush, so I was able to order and get my drink almost immediately. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I also really appreciated that they offer a military discount--it's always nice to see businesses supporting the military community. I ordered a medium cold brew with coconut cold foam and asked for very light ice. I was so happy they actually listened! So many coffee shops still fill the cup with ice even when you ask for light ice, and I hate watered-down coffee. This one was perfect. The coconut cold foam was absolutely delicious and added just the right amount of sweetness to complement the bold flavor of the cold brew without overpowering it. I also love that they serve organic coffee. I'll definitely have to remember to stop by more often whenever I'm in Coronado in the mornings. Next time, I need to try one of their donuts too!

We were seated right on time, which was a great start to the evening. The atmosphere is welcoming and lively without being too noisy, making it easy to enjoy a conversation. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. This was our second visit, and once again, the food did not disappoint. We've been here for both dinner and breakfast, and both meals were delicious. The menu offers a nice variety, the quality is consistent, and the prices are fair for the experience. Parking can be a bit challenging, but we were able to find a street parking spot without too much trouble. Overall, The Henry Coronado is a wonderful place for casual dining with great food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and would happily recommend it to others.

The restaurant was big, beautiful, and had a really nice atmosphere! The food was just as good as we remembered. I honestly don't remember everything we ordered, but I do remember that we enjoyed it! Our service was also great, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The only downside was parking--it was a little tough to find a spot, but I guess that's to be expected in this area. Definitely make a reservation! There was already a wait when we arrived, but thankfully we had reservations and were able to get seated without the hassle. Overall, another great experience at The Henry. Great food, beautiful restaurant, and great service. We'd definitely come back!

My favorite is their orange latte. However, they recently changed their cups, and I will say it's made the richness of the coffee disappear. I think there is to much milk now. I liked it better before :(. I hope they get smaller cups again, or minimize the amount of milk they use. Still work visiitng. Maybe ask for less milk?

It's tucked into a cute neighborhood near Logan Heights. We came around 9 a.m., and street parking was easy to find. There was already a line when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. The baristas were friendly and welcoming, and I thought the prices were really reasonable for San Diego. I ordered the black sesame matcha, and my husband got the Piloncillo. The matcha was creamy, rich, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. One thing to know if you're ordering matcha or a latte--they only offer oat milk, not almond milk. My husband loved his coffee and said the espresso was smooth, flavorful, and let the coffee shine without being overcomplicated. The shop itself is really cool too. There's an art installation inside, an outdoor patio with additional seating, and I noticed quite a few people picking up bags of espresso beans while we were there. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.

The employee helping everyone was so kind and helpful! I ordered a strawberry matcha croissant and a bag of 6 macarons. She helped me pick out some macaron flavors and was super friendly, she made my day! There is limited seating inside but plenty of tables outside which is where my group sat. I had the croissant right there and took the macarons home to share with my family. The pastries were excellent. I really liked the matcha cream but there was too much strawberry jam/compote in my opinion. It was gushing out! Typically I feel that pastries don't have enough filling though so I think this is preferable to that, can always remove some extra filling if it's too much. Each macaron had a distinct unique flavor. Some were a bit hard but not sure if it's because I waited next day to eat them. The others were still perfect texture. Very cute and convenient spot. It also seems like they switch up the variety of some of their pastries! Would come again!

After enjoying my experience, I figured I would come back again on this trip. I ended up visiting it twice. While the service was rather good (though how fast or slow depended on the time of day, how many customers, and how many people are working) and the food itself was very tasty. On my first recent visit, I simply ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, which was filling and tasty with heavy cheese which was nice and soft and rather melted. On my second visit, I came with my wife, and she ordered a grilled cheese sandwich (a bit more melted than mine by special request), and I ordered a Hot Dog Danish, which was a July special consisting of a flaky, buttery croissant dough filled with a 100% beef frank, ketchup, Dijon mustard, crispy onions, and fresh micro basil. While the croissant and condiments were nice and warm, the hot dog could have been warmer. It was still tasty. I thought about getting a Parisian hot chocolate, but I figured I had enough of a treat just in the meal itself. The service was good though rather slow on my first visit due to only one person working (as the other person was on break). It was much faster when I came back another day and two people were working. Parfait Paris started in 2014 with the first location opening in the Gaslamp quarter. Parfait Paris brings its French savoir-faire throughout its various locations, inviting people to taste the French Art de Vivre and celebrate its Gourmet Parisian heritage. They are now known for their desserts, macarons, crepes, and pastries. They also serve drinks. This Parfait Paris location is at the Coronado Ferry Landing. There are eight locations at this time of Parfait Paris plus an online commerce site. You can visit their website at https://parfaitparis.com/locations/coronado to order pickup or delivery, catering, an events calendar, and jobs. This location is open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 10 PM, Friday from 8 AM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 9 PM. I also joined a loyalty program where I enter my phone number upon each visit at checkout. I believe I have a promo I can use on my next visit. I certainly plan to come back again when I am visiting Coronado in the future!
