I never read Jon's reviews before today. If you read the reviews you will see he does not take…read moreaccountability when something goes wrong. It is always his customer's fault. Horrible! He puts on that he's a good guy. And a good business man he definitely is not. I took my laptop in to have the hinge fixed. When I got to the shop I decided hey let's have the battery replaced because it's only staying off the charger for a couple of hours so why not. I was told it would be complete in 3 to 4 days. 4 weeks later I finally am able to collect my laptop! Long story short he has replaced the battery 3 times. Each time he replaced the battery he did not test the battery out to make sure that it was working correctly. I am very confident that when you have a professional replace a component in your electronic, that professional will test that component to make sure that it's working properly after installation. He did not. Because if he had I would not have had to return to his shop 2 more times to replace the battery Each time the battery was replaced I had to calibrate the battery and I had to test out the battery each time it was installed. And each time I got an error that the battery was bad. Well this third and final time I also got the message that the battery needs replaced. And now I have a message stating that the charging port is bad. That means progressive charging circuitry failure. WTF?? That wasn't happening when I walked in his shop the first time. Now he wants to offer me a $40 refund and say that it's not his fault. Those who question his business practices are called entitled. I am a customer and I am entitled to having my product return to me in fully functioning order. Now I have to take him to small claims. What a dick

The full fix was going to take days cause they'd have to gut the whole phone and on the phone this was never mentioned. I was told that because i also had a battery put in (which was aftermarket and had information smudged off of it in two places i noticed) that i would only be refunded $140 of $180. Sure you put in a new battery, but i cant really use it..i'm sending it to insurance (Which will cost me $200 deductible ). so i can have i truly fixed phone. I wish i could give a better review, but they weren't going to help me until i gave a negative one (initial offer was only %15 another 139 charge). And i'm still out $40 and right back where i was before. The initial person looking at my phone apparently thought the bend in the phone wouldn't effect another screen as it had the last. The actual technician seemed very knowledgeable. All in all unfortunate, but a huge hassle.

I had a scheduled appointment today at 10:00 a.m. for an on-site visit to my home to fix a Wifi…read moreproblem. I had spoken directly to the technician (Chad) yesterday afternoon when the appointment was made and asked that I be kept informed should anything change and he assured me that he would. 10:00 a.m. came and went. No call, no show. At 11:24, I called Computer Support Plus to cancel my appointment and register a complaint with the store manager. It was then that I found out that the technician WAS the manager (but he was in the bathroom). I told the clerk that I wanted nothing to do with their business and finished the call. Chad called me back almost immediately. After he offered his excuse on why he didn't text or call me to let me know he would be late, he even offered to fix my Wifi problem for free but I declined. Chad and I went back & forth for awhile but I wouldn't budge on my opinions about his lack of professionalism. He did say that he 'was tired of me beating him up' or words to that effect. One final parting comment he made was, "It is what it is." I told Chad that I would rather PAY one of his competitors than allow him in my home for his "free" deal. If you're looking for reliable, dependable, professional service, DON'T do business with Computer Support Plus.
