All of my questions and concerns leading up to the move were addressed quickly. The staff members on the other end of my phone calls and emails were all so friendly. My packers, Alex M and Tristan B, were awesome! Alex K let me know right away that the 3-5 hours estimate I was provided would not be enough time to pack the number of household items I had. They got the job done as quickly as they could and even left me a few boxes for those "last minute" items. I appreciated their diligence and especially how easy they were to work with. My movers, Mike K and Mateo K, were phenomenal! Friendly, efficient and transparent. Mike K's immediate assessment of the size of the POD I rented versus the amount of room I actually needed for my household items was addressed up front and a solution was found. They even agreed to load their truck with those "overflow" items and transport them to the storage unit I was able to rent "on the fly." These guys were total lifesavers! Mike K even assured me that Badger Bros would pick up those items and transport them to my new residence in September. Thank you Badger Bros! Another company I called gave an hourly rate but did not come to my place so had no idea what needed to be moved or how long it would take and thus how much it would cost. After speaking with Roger I was confident that all of my belongings would be handled in the most careful, professional and efficient way. Powell Express is a very professional operation with great equipment to make the move as efficient as possible. All went smoothly. They called after they had already arrived at the new house, so I stopped by the old house to make sure they had locked up. Turns out left my front door wide open (not just unlocked actually OPEN). I didn't want to make a big deal of it so I locked up and met them at the new house and mentioned quietly to one mover what had happened. They were very apologetic. The next day while unpacking we noticed things missing, so I went back to the old house to see if anything had been left. They left 2 carloads of stuff in the house, and left half the windows on my second floor OPEN. It got to -13 degrees that night and my windows were open. I called the company to complain and was told they would call me back. I waited a week, called again, was told they would call me back. Waited another 2 days, called back and was told "The movers don't open windows. They don't lock/unlock doors. It's your responsibility to make sure they remove everything from your house." I was told I could come in and have a meeting with the movers, I'm not entirely sure what that would accomplish since either they lied to management or management is lying to me. Manager at the company told me if I wasn't willing to watch the crew like hawks and basically be their supervisor I shouldn't have hired them. I wish someone had told me that before I paid them nearly $3000. Manager told me if I wanted to tell the world about my experience to go right ahead, and if I ever needed to be moved again to call Mayflower. I suggest you all do the same.

Thaddeus assured me that this was covered by insurance, however, despite claims that a check was coming, after a whole month later, I still have not received this "check". I've tried calling and emailing Move Busters, unfortunately they have not responded. Tip: Make sure you check your furniture, appliances, moving items before the moving crew leaves!
