We were behind a family of like 10 people who couldn't make up their kinds of what they wanted to do. So by the time we got out here the girl said it was too late to purchase the bands which are $25 and then you can do unlimited stuff until close. It says on the sign the wristbands go until 8:30. I ended up spending almost $40 to do less because apparently it was too late to get wristbands although we were in line on time. Anyway my son still has fun driving the go carts a few times and the slides.

My partner's family has gone to OC every year for as long as they can remember, so the course was very special! If you have a love for mini golf & want to try a challenging yet exciting course! If you're really into mini-golf, Old Pro Golf has a pass that allows you to play all of their Ocean City locations for a lower price. I would 100% come back to this location again! ADA Note: there are two holes on top of the pyramid structure that require you to walk up and down 15-20ish steps, and I didn't see any elevator option for anyone who comes with elderly or wheelchair-bound guests.

With that being said, the guy that works here is an absolute miserable person. To explain, I went to pick up a scorecard and he flipped out. He yelled and said that "he was the only one allowed to touch the scorecards". This is a mini golf course, not the Masters. Furthermore, he wouldn't let you pick your own club so my club was way too short for me. On top of that, he let way too many people on the course at once and it was impossible to move. It took almost two hours to finish the course. Also, when I was in the middle of a hole, the guy came out with leaf blower and was holding everyone up. Just an unbelievable experience. In the same manner, the course itself was not good. To clarify, the course was extremely hilly and the greens were uneven. The golf balls would just roll by themselves. In addition, the course was only designed for right handed players. There were several holes where you couldn't even hit as a lefty due to trees and bushes. It was simply a poorly designed course. In all, Shell We Golf is one of the worst mini golf courses that I've ever played due to poor design and rude employees.

We showed up a few minutes before it opened at 10 AM and the lady behind the desk let us pay and go in. Our three youngest kids got in for free which was great because at 12 bucks a person, it really felt like a waste of money even for the two older kids who barely played golf. since the course is fenced in, we adults were able to play around each of the holes as our kids ran wild across the empty course. We did of course have to limit them, to keep them from climbing on top of the mini castle, etc. they were fascinated by the hole where when the golf ball doesn't make it to the other side of the stream, it gets sent down and out a log onto the bottom part of the course and they would carry the golf balls back up to the stream and drop them in just to see them roll out down below. They also loved the pinko style ball drop at the end. Overall, I'm really happy we went.
