Partner and I went on their kayak excursion Sunday morning, which happened to reach almost 70 degrees with barely any wind...a perfect day! Jess and Steve were careful to ensure that everyone knew the basics before launch. Along the route, they articulated the history of our surroundings and how Chincoteague came to be, the pony roundup, oyster farming, marine biology, other wildlife, ecology, etc. They were very personable throughout and had great bedside manners, which definitely comes in handy with children. They make a great couple, too. This is a must-do when in Chincoteague!

Beautiful sky's in Toms 'secret' cove. And, yes...we saw a bunch of horses that weren't promised.

Do it! This was a lovely experience and worth every penny. These are two premium high class people showing you around the bay and I promise you won't be disappointed. Even if you don't see horses. Steve and Jessica are a part of the magical island that is Chincoteaque let them take you on an adventure that transcends time and space. Also, was met with great enthusiasm for bringing my dog and there isn't enough of that going around. Love these people!

We had an amazing experience with Steve and his wife, Jess. The kayaking tour was amazing. Their personalities, vibes, and positive energy were the highlight of our tour. I highly recommend them for your kayaking tour!!!

I highly recommend the sunset kayak tour. We were able to go at our own pace and take in the scenery.

Stephen took us out paddleboarding and was a great tour guide giving us a truly unique view of the chincoteague marshes. He was encouraging and positive for the beginners and really made you feel at ease. Highly recommend when you visit!

We went kayaking as a family of 4. Our 2 daughters, ages 9 and 12, had a great time kayaking with me and my husband. Jess and her husband were fantastic guides. They kept us together and safe. Jess knew a lot about the area which she shared as we paddled along. We saw *so* many ponies up close! It was a great Sunday morning.

What an amazing trip! My mom waited 70 years for this! We booked our trip for a Saturday 2pm and…read morethere were only 2 others on the boat. We went in with the idea that we will have a great trip on the water and learn a little about the area. Fingers crossed to see the horses, that is what mom waited all these years for! We saw part of the heard on the way out from a distance and were happy with that. Then we saw a pair of eagles and dolphins and a group of pelicans and leaned about wallops island. On the way back the heard was closer and we got the experience of a lifetime. They came closer and closer and we were in awe. Captain John was great and the rest of the staff were very friendly and the boat was very clean. We also got a special shell from a little entrepreneur!

We took an early Sunday morning boat tour around the Chincoteague Wildlife refuge with Captain…read moreJohn. Although it was cloudy and raining, John reassured us that we would have better chance of seeing wildlife in such a weather. He took us to interesting places around the island including the lighthouse, oyster beds, mariner's cross, and popular bird nesting grounds (egrets, pelicans, laughing gulls, black backed gulls, ducks). We also saw the ponies from afar. Overall, this was a great memorable exprience! P.S. only suggestion: could rain coats be provided to customers in a rainy weather?
