Great time here. Was…read morelooking for something fun to do and saw that this place was closeby our hotel right on the main highway (US-1/Coastal Highway) and had consistently good reviews. they are co-loctaed with their Sea Shell Shop which is a huge souvenir shop with tons of trinkets. You'll have to go there if you want to use your credit card to play golf...otherwise you can use cash to pay at the golf counter. Golf prices are $10 per person...children 3 and under are free. You are given a club, ball and score card. The 19-hole course is well maintained...the grounds were clean and all of the decorations were functioning as they should. While we did have to wait a few minutes on some of the more difficult holes whiles the groups ahead finished, it wasn't too bad. The difficulty level throughout was very fair...enough that most people, including children, could complete the course. There are benches along the way so you can sit while you wait. The single staff member at the front counter was super friendly and helpful. Large parking lot. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for something fun to do in the area. $10 per person, for 19-holes in a high-tourist location is extremely reasonable in my opinion.

I wanted to enjoy a nice Summer day by playing some mini golf and I saw that Shell We Golf had good…read morereviews. I decided to give it a try and boy do I wish that I never did. With that being said, the guy that works here is an absolute miserable person. To explain, I went to pick up a scorecard and he flipped out. He yelled and said that "he was the only one allowed to touch the scorecards". This is a mini golf course, not the Masters. Furthermore, he wouldn't let you pick your own club so my club was way too short for me. On top of that, he let way too many people on the course at once and it was impossible to move. It took almost two hours to finish the course. Also, when I was in the middle of a hole, the guy came out with leaf blower and was holding everyone up. Just an unbelievable experience. In the same manner, the course itself was not good. To clarify, the course was extremely hilly and the greens were uneven. The golf balls would just roll by themselves. In addition, the course was only designed for right handed players. There were several holes where you couldn't even hit as a lefty due to trees and bushes. It was simply a poorly designed course. In all, Shell We Golf is one of the worst mini golf courses that I've ever played due to poor design and rude employees.

Really fun mini golf course but be prepared for BUGS!…read more My family and I loved the course itself. It was well-maintained and there was a good mix of challenging and easier holes. As I mentioned though, there were tons of bugs. We were eaten alive out there. It would be nice to see the course put out some torches or something to ward off the bugs. Since they do not have such a thing, wear bug spray if you have it.

I used to play mini golf here every year and always enjoyed it when it was themed as Golf Down…read moreUnder. My only complaint is that the course was changed to a Christmas theme, and Christmas music is played very loudly throughout the entire course. I understand and appreciate the holiday theme, but as a suggestion, it would be nice to have other music rather than only Christmas songs. I think that would make the experience more enjoyable for a wider range of guests. Overall, this is just friendly feedback. If the music selection changes in the future, I would definitely consider coming back and giving the course another try.
