So unfortunately this place still gets 3 stars. We skipped bumper boats and golf after the issues last year. We arrived at 8:20. We were in line until 8:46. We were behind a family of like 10 people who couldn't make up their kinds of what they wanted to do. So by the time we got out here the girl said it was too late to purchase the bands which are $25 and then you can do unlimited stuff until close. It says on the sign the wristbands go until 8:30. I ended up spending almost $40 to do less because apparently it was too late to get wristbands although we were in line on time. Anyway my son still has fun driving the go carts a few times and the slides. read more

My husband and I came here to play mini golf. We were surprised by the quality of the course given that it's part of multiple amusements. The course was very well kept (employees were working on it as we were playing). Pricing was comparable to Surfside Golf across the road. read more

This place is definitely smaller and a little older, but it's still fun for younger kids. Our 8 year old really enjoyed the slide, the bumper boats, the gem mining ang mini golf. 2 hour wrist band is a good deal because he could just keep playing things over and over. The staff was super friendly. There was a younger guy who was brand new and he was super nice and friendly! read more

I read some of the comments about employees not being engaged or available. We visited last night and that couldn't have been further from the truth for our experience. They all seemed eager to help us have a good time, smiled liberally, and made it an evening filled with memories. At one point they all huddled in the main lodge for a bite or something, but we were mini golfing so it didn't interfere with our enjoyment. When go karting they encouraged us to use our 2-hr pass to take as many rides as possible, and another young man heard us talking about doing the water boats and approached us to let us know he would be happy to facilitate. I haven't posted in a while but given how disparate my experience was from the reviews, I wanted to. It is not an expansive amusement part by any stretch) manager said they will be expanding for next season), but the people who work there are very nice. We will go back. read more

Funland was a disappointment to say the very least. It was understaffed as we had to wait about 5 minutes when there was zero line to get on the bumper boats. The dead frog floating in the pool did not do anything to improve my impression of the place. They didn't have the exit gate properly latched at the go carts. The arcade was outdated and the advertised funnel cakes were nonexistent. I don't like to write bad reviews, I understand what it's like to work in customer service but the complete lack of enthusiasm and excitement from the staff is what did me in to write this review. My 9 year old was so excited all day to go to Funland and have a fun day. He left saying it should be renamed No-Funland. read more

Sooo, Chincoteague Island is not very big and neither is Funland Amusements but that's ok because my family and I had a blast here! When we pulled up on a Friday night, I was half way tired from our five hour drive from NOVA to here but this place woke me up. The owner greeted us and asked us what he could help us with and my husband asked if we could purchase some tickets to the go karts and the mini golf. My husband printed off some coupons from the Funland website and the owner allowed him to use two (WINNING). The owner was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The hubby tried to place an order for ice cream, but the owner informed us he would not be serving this until Memorial day weekend. Bummer.That's ok tho because we came here to play! After we got our tickets, the owner informed us we could go to the go karts first and then come back for our mini golf clubs. There was a large group of kids also waiting in line, and when it was time for us to grab a car this large group helped make the go kart race even more fun! My daughter was a little sad she was not tall enough to drive but it was ok because she got to be my front seat assistant. After the workers buckled me and my daughter in, they were very nice and took a picture of us while we were seated. Finally we took off around the track. The track here is not very big but it was not noticeable because we had so much fun going around it. Our go kart ride lasted about 5 minutes (went around the track around 8-10 times) and they turn on a red light to let you know to bring it back in. We only purchased a ticket to go around the track once but you can purchase an unlimited pass for the day ( not sure of the price). Finally we made our way to the mini golf course. As the owner stated he was right there in the check out booth waiting to hand us with our clubs and balls. He also offered us a sheet to keep score but we were just having fun so we did not need this. Although the mini golf area looks really small it has 18 holes total and they are all really fun. Not sure of the closing time here but we were the last to leave the park(around 9:30pm-- think they close at 9pm) -- but the owner did not rush us and he waited until we completed our game. Yes, I have been to bigger fun parks but the staff here and the experience we had made a difference. Really had fun here and it was well worth our time and money! read more

My kids liked it, but I thought it was overpriced. Also was not impressed with the 3 young employees who were chain smoking right in front of the payment windows. I know there was no manager on site when we visited- wondering if the employees would still be smoking then? Either way, it was gross and totally inappropriate given the environment, and we would not go back or recommend it to anyone. read more

Fun but way over priced. If your charging those prices add more or discount a little. $7.00 as a price point for 6 min worth fun is crazy high! At least you have a good team otherwise I wouldn't return. read more

Lots of fun. We did the jump activity, bumper boats, cars, and mini-golf. Male Staff were too busy playing around with each other than running the activities, or even supervising the bumper boat pool. The teen at bumper bots had his back turned the entire time. I would think they would want to supervise kids in a pool. I know parents are responsible as well, but when it comes down to it, it's their liability. Multiple times there was no one at the jump pad because the attendant from their was too busy playing basketball with other attendants. It's a shame too because if the staff had been more attentive it would have raised my rating. read more

We got the 2-hour pass and enjoyed everything! I like the go-karts and the golf best.
