He also gave me another tip if my adapter will mess up again. Bruce was very helpful and responsive that I don't mind working with them with potential computer issues in the future.

The main technician, Ted, was incredibly rude -- he spoke over me, ignored that I have a stutter,…read moreand even yelled at me to hang up because he "might lose two other calls." That's completely unacceptable behavior toward a paying customer. They never mentioned repairs would take 2-3 days. I was clearly told it would be done overnight or the next day, which I have in writing. Once they had my laptop, the story suddenly changed. The communication was chaotic and inconsistent. They also pressured me for my password even after I explained that my computer contains sensitive client banking data, then backtracked and said they didn't need it. For that, they charged almost $300 for a basic cleaning and repaste. Their Google page doesn't even list a proper address, which is concerning for a repair shop. Unprofessional, disorganized, overpriced, disrespectful, and completely lacking in understanding for people with disabilities. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'd rather trash the laptop than hand it back to Ted -- that says everything about how much I trust his shop.

This was the first time I've been to Dave's Computers, but he clearly knows what he's doing. It's…read morebeen a while since I've had my laptop checked out and I'm a student so I only use it for a few things, but Dave looked at it personally and got my speed and antivirus software up-to-date. He was friendly, professional, and the store, although almost hidden from the rest of the shopping plaza, was clean and easy to get to. His service on my computer was delivered promptly at the agreed-upon time, and I was called once my laptop was ready. He was also ready to answer any follow-up questions and was quite helpful, even though the service itself was free. As a Testimoniacs expert, I would recommend Dave's Computers to anyone who, like me, wouldn't necessarily consider themselves to be computer-savvy, but needed some professional assistance of the right kind. I highly recommend one to take the opportunity to get their computer diagnosed for free; visiting Dave is worth the drive. Rachael

He refused to accept a coupon that he himself posted on his door to the office. Incredible. Never again !!!!!!!

(Don't worry I'll be upgrading soon enough) I've replaced a battery before successfully on another phone but After digging into all the options I find buying batteries off Amazon or eBay is a crapshoot at best. There's more truth in "if it's too good to be true it probably isn't" than in any of the hype and advertising for all the aftermarket batteries. Next I could take it to the Genius Bar but I'd be detached from my Apple crack 3-5 days too long. Now I'm speculating that might cost me $70 min there, so I opted to splurge another $30 to have it done while waiting. If it was only $70 I would have given them 5 stars but even at that premium cost I'm still pleased by the professionalism and speed of service. While we were told it would take an hour, I left them with my wife's number to call or text if it's done sooner. So we had sushi three stores down and just as we were paying the bill we got the call right around 30 minutes; which is kinda what I was expecting/hoping for, So the battery comes with a 6 month service warranty and while I have no expectation it will last as long as the original battery if I get a year or two more maybe that should be fine..... if not I'll be sure to update this review.
