Well today my clumsy self did what my family has forbidden me to do for years.....use stairs with shoes on. Yeah yeah go ahead laugh. But it's true. I fall down the stairs and ONLY ME FALLS UP THE STAIRS!‍ So today I went to the grocery and the liquor store, came home and with my slip on Sketchers walked out my shoe and fell up the stairs, falling onto the broken glass. Went right over to ER Near Me. They were great. Moved the TV so I could see the Stros game. Xray my cut, dug out a tiny piece of glass. Applied the skin glue, and gave me a tetanus shot. All the while being professional and engaging. This wasn't my first trip over there. But they are always wonderful.

Don't go. Unless you enjoy paying their starting fee of $500 for sub-par health care. After 5 days of persistent cough, sore throat, lost voice, sinus infection type symptoms, I finally gave in and went to the nearest clinic that was open early. I do not get sick often, and avoid the doctor because my health insurance is not great (teachers deserve better). On the last day of school before summer, I arrived to ER Near Me at 6:30am, in attempt to get a diagnosis/meds and go to work on time. I began signing paperwork, and was called into the room quickly. I was not given a chance to complete the paperwork before the exam started. The nurse (Emelly) was friendly and caring. She asked about all of my symptoms, took my blood pressure and temp (although didn't say whether they were normal). Then she brought me meds. She told me what each of the meds were, but I was not familiar with them and she did not mention side effects. It was a lot of meds! I don't typically take any medicine and hadn't eaten breakfast. But, I took them hoping for relief. I immediately felt nauseous and a bit later felt light-headed. She left and Dr. Hailey came in. He asked a few questions and listened to my breathing with a stethoscope. Then he left. A different nurse came in and gave me flu and Covid tests, then told me they were taking me for chest x-rays, which the doctor didn't mention. I asked if they could find out about additional cost for x-rays. Another woman came in and told me she didn't have information on the cost of the x-rays and that would be for me to determine with my insurance company. I declined the x-rays. It would be difficult to call the insurance company with no voice. A lady came in requesting payment before I was given any diagnosis or treatment plan. After a long time of waiting, I left the room to see what was going on. A nurse saw me and said the doctor would be right back. Every person that left my room gave me no information. It was frustrating. Finally, the doctor came in to diagnose me with Bronchitis and Pharyngitis, which prompted me to ask if my test results were negative and he confirmed they were. Again, no information provided, I had to do all of the asking (with no voice). He told me he was prescribing a steroid and antibiotic and he left. A long time passed, so I went out to find someone. The original nurse finished her shift, so a new nurse (Wendy) came and gave me printouts about Bronchitis and Pharyngitis and a packet of disclosures (aka we charge a lot and are not liable). I had to request the rest of my chart, because there was no information included about the meds they gave me or my vitals. I also requested that she ask the doctor to call in anti-nausea meds because I was already feeling sick. She agreed, then gave me the rest of my chart and led me out. I sat down in my car and looked through the paperwork. It only listed 1 prescription. I went back in to confirm that I was prescribed 2 (steroid and antibiotic) as the doctor stated. She called the doctor and said he would be right out. After a long period of waiting, the nurse came out and said he ordered both prescriptions but would not be prescribing me anything for nausea. If I wanted the additional prescription, I would need to re-register and check back in (I'm guessing that means pay again). I told her I wanted the chart to be made accurate, and requested a new printout. Then, I demanded the doctor come out front. I explained to him that I requested nausea meds before I left the room, due to already feeling sick from all of the meds they gave me. I told him his chart was inaccurate, it only listed 1 prescription. He left and came back with an accurate printout, gave me 1 nausea pill and told me he sent a prescription for more. Two hours later (with zero other patients in the building from start to finish), I finally got to leave. I got no thank you, no hope you're feeling better, sorry for inconveniences, etc. I did see a lot of exchanging of glances and rolling of eyes between staff members. Nurse Wendy seemed annoyed, and told me she was trying to clean my room (when I came back in to get the prescriptions corrected). She was also annoyed that I wasn't wearing my mask inside my exam room (she pointed it out). It was impossible to communicate with no voice and a mask on. I was unable to go to work (being contagious), so I missed my students' last day of school. I cried while I was there, no one asked me if I was ok. Of the six people I saw while there, only the first nurse (Emelly) seemed to care, and to think it was the end of her overnight shift, is pretty impressive. I am surprised at all of the good reviews for this place. Yes, it was nicely decorated and clean, but that's about all it had going for it. If I hadn't needed care outside of typical hours, I would not have gone here. $500 for a visit is outrageous. I should've waited 2 hours and gone to Urgent Care, I've never paid more than $75/visit and received better care.

Well I do not recommend a kidney stone the size of a marble or so it felt to kick off your Thanksgiving week I profusely recommend this location. Their phenomenal staff is the epitome of professional, compassionate and committed. Starting from checking with Emily which was seamlessly efficient to Austin starting an IV effortlessly to most importantly getting to meet & be treated by Dr. Hailey. I was on the receiving end of such elite care that despite the tremendous amount of pain I was in; the feeling of contentment & their ability to take care of me & their willingness to treat me with just the utmost of professionalism and kindness is overwhelming. Scott and Austin as well as I believe David are an amazing example of their professions and Emily!!! Emily, there are no words to describe how your intuition and your amazing ability to get me checked in without hesitation is really what set the tone for my care. BUT, one associate there as well as the discharge doctor were not my favorite I can still tell you everybody else there stood in amazing representation of how lucky and fortunate we are to have this type of medicine provided for us. Dr. Hailey has continued to advocate for me and provide me with exceptional care weeks later. He is a true credit to his profession and I'm so fortunate that as I stumbled in there in the wee dawn hours thinking I was going to die he was there to take care of me. Thank you -Jeannette

Our first contact there was with Caitlin (she needs a name tag so I can spell her name correctly). She was so very nice to my husband and me, getting me a wheelchair, helping me change and store items in the locker, etc. Most of all, she was kind, professional and made us feel totally comfortable. Then Andre helped me get into position for the scan. He got me a pillow and blanket. Again, he was kind, professional and made me feel totally comfortable. I was prepared for a longer session, but I was out in 15 minutes flat. It was Caitlin who wheeled me outside and helped me into the car when my husband pulled up. My mother is disabled, and instead of treating her with patience and respect, they made an already stressful medical appointment even more difficult. They would not allow me to accompany her to help, despite her needing assistance, and the way they spoke to us was cold and unprofessional. Healthcare staff should understand that many patients are already anxious or vulnerable when they come in. A little kindness goes a long way, but unfortunately that wasn't our experience here. I would not recommend this facility based on the poor customer service and lack of empathy we received.

This is my 2nd go-round (technically 3rd) at the Women's Imagining Center…read more I had a 3D mammogram done here a year & 1/2 ago. I needed to return for a second exam that visit. The phone call requesting a return visit provided a few days of angst, but all ended up well. Here I am again this year. The reception, check in & practitioners have been fabulous on all visits. My practitioner even remembered me from 18 months ago.....Wow! There is PLENTY of room for family members or providers to accompany you on your visit. There is coffee and magazines. I had to fill out one set of paper-docs for my DEXA. They have switched to pretty cool electronic check in docs for a mammogram. They hand you an iPad, you check some boxes & viola. Once it's time for your exam, clients are taken to a changing area with keyed-lockers to store your items (Thank You from single gals everywhere!) They have these 1/2-length, cape-style garments for mammograms which make it a little more convenient to hit those poses for the squish. There are also some longer more traditional hospital-like garments with sleeves for other exams or mobility/modesty issues.....don't be shy....get your mammogram cape on! You're a self-care super hero for being there. Once changed, clients remain in a separate waiting area until their exam. When you are done, collect your things from the locker, change & you're done. Don't forget to leave the key!! The mammogram sincerely not that bad at all. I'm not sure why there are so many stories of super-squishy pain. That hasn't been my experience(s). ** Do not wear garments with metal from the waist-down for DEXA....get your yoga pant day on ladies! On the day of the mammogram, do not apply lotions, creams or deodorant. I remember seeing personal wipes last year. I didn't see those this year. If you have to work or run around before your appointment, I think applying deodorant & bringing wipes would work out well. I saw a few ladies that use canes. I did not see anyone that used a wheelchair. Regardless, I have no doubt that they facilitate exams for anyone with mobility issues. No excuses! Get your exams done. If not for you, do it for your family and all the ladies (& men!) diagnosed in the time since your last exam! Best of health to all.......

And to click this "Link". It has been noted not to click on any attachments from a cyber specialist via email or text. I called the main number they are located in Dallas, I had them transfer me to the billing dept, did not trust the number given on the email, however it did call the number, no info was given during this call. A proper statement should have the dates of service, procedures that were handled and the amount. This was not indicated in the email rec'd this was poorly handled, there billing dept needs education. When I called the main number, and requested to be transferred I did speak with there associate (out source over seas) date of of service was in April of this year, I was informed who my insurance was, they had the incorrect insurance, Later on I while using my IPAD Iclicked on the link and was able to get a itemized statement, there were five procedures it showed two amounts, and three were pending insurance, with a total balance of zero??. Upon checking the website via my PC, my antivirus showed a "Malware Warning" stating it was harmful for my PC. I had already used the link via IPAD prior to using my PC. To get the info had to enter "last name, DOB and the statement ID that was included in the email. (Don't Click The Link) They need to get there act together and check there computer main frame etc. for any indications of Malware within there system. With all the reviews I will never use them, but my provider has contracted with them. I will advise them of this as well.

I received two invoices, both of which I paid immediately upon receipt. Despite this, I subsequently received a collections notice for $32, for which I had never received a prior bill. When I contacted the billing office to resolve the matter, I discovered that none of the invoice amounts I received and paid aligned with my insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB). After insurance adjustments and payments, the correct amounts should have been $15.67, $32.84, and $14.35. My payments of $16.28 and $30.02 (clearly not matching what should have been billed) were not properly recorded in their system. This does leave a balance of only $16.56. Clearly not matching their collections letter of $32.84. I have spoken to them by phone and by email (no reply to my emails). This demonstrates a clear lack of internal controls and accuracy within their billing operations. In reviewing their record with the Better Business Bureau, they are not an accredited member and have multiple complaints describing the same billing discrepancies. I would strongly advise any patient or referring provider to exercise caution! If you get stuck with them, verify all statements, payments, and insurance correspondence carefully. keep records and be on the lookout for being turned over to Collections
