The instructor, Ivan, is very knowledgeable and provided examples of real life situations where CPR and First Aid was performed on children. His field experience was implemented very well in the class and really knows his stuff! The entire staff is great and really make you feel at home! Came here on a Sunday for my BLS training, our instructor was Tony, absolutely fantastic instructor. He went over everything thoroughly, and answered some other questions I had. The business is easy to find, we started right on time, and had a very professional instructor who is in the field actively doing just this almost everyday I am sure. I'd recommend a friend, and I am planning on letting other grads of my school program know for when they need to renew to go here if interested. Hands down the best BLS CPR class I have ever taken, and Ive attended about 6 classes over the years with different companies. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was nice to have an instructor that has actually performed CPR and has the real word experience. They also did a good job for social distancing and making sure we were all safe. We all used individual equipment that was sanitized, that way we didn't run any risk. With all these steps taken, I felt comfortable being in the class and getting certified. read more

I just had the most pleasant experience at Surefire CPR! Took my ACLS/BLS/PALS and NRP courses there this week (half online, then come in for a skills check). Scheduling was extremely flexible and they were so easy to communicate with if you needed to swtich your dates and times around. Classes ran quickly and smoothly. All my instructors were knowledgeable with great attitudes! I was nervous going into these classes but it was so low stress that I couldn't recommend this place enough! This is the 2nd time coming here for my CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid. I took the class with Jayson Nickle, he is awesome! Everything is hands on and to the point. They do not overload you with information you do not need. I'm the type of person that gets bored easily. I was not looking forward to a 5 1/2 hour class on a Sunday afternoon but time flew when I was there! Making an appointment online is super simple and fast. Finding the place is very easy. I'm starting a new job and realized 2 days ago that I let my cpr card expire. I needed a class asap! I couldn't reach the other company I had used and I'm so glad because I then found Surefire on yelp. I was able to schedule the class and pay for all of the supplies online without a problem. I had my class today and the instructor, Kaylee, was so knowledgeable and had tons of experience herself with cpr since she works as an emt. She made the course entertaining and the 3 hours just flew by. The office was very clean, staff very friendly and the coffee and granola bars were perfect since I couldn't stop for breakfast. I've taken CPR/First Aid certifications from several different companies, and have been consistently impressed and pleased with the quality of SureFire CPR's classes. SureFire CPR is great if you want: professional, friendly, positive instructors (mine have always been actual EMTs or paramedics, which gives a cool real-world feel to the class). The classes are well organized, with a mix of hands-on practice and instruction, which has left me feeling empowered to actually perform first aid or CPR appropriately should the need ever arise. I had an AWESOME experience at SureFire CPR. I took the CPR and First Aid class in the same day and it went by so fast! The instructors made me and the other students feel so comfortable when performing CPR and even using the AED. They made me realize how important it is to know CPR and now I want all my friends to be certified! Quinn and Katelyn were pros and knew what they were talking about and answered everyone's questions. We did a lot of hands on training for both CPR and First Aid that were very helpful. I took the CPR and First Aid class and loved it! I was immediately impressed when I found out that the teachers and company are comprised of people that actually work as EMTs, firefighters, etc., and have experience doing the things they are teaching you. Our teacher, Hector, was funny which made it a great experience and he used real-life examples from his own job which were helpful. There's so much hands-on work so you actually get a chance to do the things you are learning! One of the best parts of the class and Surefire is that they really instill confidence in you. Going into this class I was somewhat afraid and uncertain that I could help in an emergency situation but after this class I feel so much more confident that if an emergency arose I could perform CPR or First Aid to help someone. This may be long over due, but I've taken 2 BLS classes at SureFire...and there's a reason why I'll keep coming back: 1. Class was shorter than the ones I've been too, but packed with information. 2. I felt confident to conduct CPR once I left. 3. Class was fun. My instructors weren't dry and boring, it went by fairly quickly. 4. CPR vending machine! That thing is awesome! I bought a keychain mask and a CPR mask with gloves for my car. 5. Discounts! I got a nice discount when I renewed my BLS there again. There's only ONE thing I wish SureFire CPR had that they don't offer right now..and that's weekend advanced classes. I need to take PALS/NRP/EKG and I work during the week :( Other than that, SureFire CPR is awesome! read more
