I was taught how to turn the steering wheel, use turn signals, using the brakes and accelerator, changing lanes, merging lanes, deal with traffic circles, speed limit, and so much more! I went from driving with no accelerator around my neighborhood to driving with the accelerator in the main roads! Great progress :) Second lesson was with Shelby, who was very good as well! She showed me DMV routes, taught me how to reverse in a straight line, lane changes when there was a bike lane present, and had me practicing what I needed to practice most. I am now very good at turning, performing the task of a U-Turn, changing lanes, and looking out for bikers in bike lanes. My last instructor was Christian, who was excellent! Very verbal in a very good way. He repeated things that were important so I could remember him saying those things. He taught me how to look ahead at all times, he taught me how to park in the mall parking lot, and he really worked on straight parking! Thanks to him, I can park at many places and I'm able to park along the curb without ever hitting it! Overall, every instructor I had were excellent! They were able to teach me with patience, tips, and of course, kindness and encouragement! Very informative and they prepare you VERY WELL for the DMV behind-the-wheel test!

After your child completed the online hours call them and they will provide you with his certificate so that you can take it to DMV to get your child approved for the permit test. Once they receive the permit, contact the company and let them know and they will schedule a drive time appointment with you. your child needs to complete 50 hours they get their actual license when they turn 16 so they get the two Hours Dr. time to the beginning and then you practice with your child and then they get two hours at the end to make sure that they're ready to take their driving test.

I had Reggie, he's a lot older than you think for being a driving instructor. He basically wasn't that friendly, yelled a lot and was hypocritical. He told me to speed up (while I was driving exactly 65 on the freeway) then when I sped up to 70 he yelled at me saying, "Why are you driving that fast where do you have to go?!" He told me to make a right turn up ahead and I was trying to but there was a car in front of me. I had to move slowly because I was so new at driving I didn't know if I was going to hit the car or not. I turned the corner after he was urging me to do so and ran over the curb a little. He was furious and yelled at me some more saying "WHY DID YOU HIT THE CURB? YOU WANT TO HURT SOMEONE?" first of all thanks for yelling at your NEW DRIVER (student) instead of teaching. after that I never went back and chose a driving school in Pleasanton.

Something has definitely changed over the past 10 years. My child was not as prepared. My husband and I had to do most of the training. We were expecting A-Plaza to teach/guide my child in the following skills: parallel parking, reversing, etc. Basics- we were hoping they would reinforce what we were also teaching. My child stated they did not help with those skills. My child was to drive wherever the instructor suggested- straight driving. Another note- instructors would be late as well. During our…read moreinitial conversation, everything was explained to us, and we were told that the fee included both the online driver's education course and the behind the wheel training after she obtained her permit. The only additional cost would be the DMV fees. We paid on a Saturday via Zelle, and the representative provided us with a website to begin the online training. When we attempted to access the site, it would not work. We contacted him immediately, and he initially told us the problem was with our computer and suggested we try using our phone. We did, but the website still did not work. He then told us he would need to check with their IT department and that we would have to wait until Monday. While we were disappointed, we understood that technical issues can happen and agreed to wait. The next day, however, he called us back and completely changed the story. He told us we needed to find another website to complete the online training and pay for it ourselves. We reminded him that we had specifically confirmed that the online training was included in the fee we had already paid. He then claimed it was not included. After we challenged that statement, he suggested that we pay a third party for the training and that he would reimburse us later. At that point, the situation felt very suspicious. In less than 24 hours, the explanation had changed multiple times. First, the online training was included. Then it wasn't. Then we were expected to pay another company and trust that we would be reimbursed later. Because of these inconsistencies, we requested a full refund. He said he would forward our information to the office and that the refund would be processed on Monday. Since we had paid him directly through Zelle over the weekend, we insisted that he return the money immediately. After considerable back and forth, he finally refunded the payment. Based on our experience, I would not trust this company. The information we were given changed several times, and what was promised at the time of payment was not what we were later told. The entire experience felt unprofessional and raised serious concerns about their reliability.
