Hi everyone, I just finished the course and i have to say that if you are planning to ride a Motorcycle this is a MUST DO. (Even if you already have a M1 Licence) At the beginning I was a little sceptical about this program but at the end I totally agree that is the best investment I ever did on myself cause it may save my life on my future Motorcycle Journeys. The whole team was so friendly and supportive but Sheila was awesome!! (THANK YOU!! ) Not to say for the very nice sense of humor at all times so you feel very comfortable when riding on the range class and learning at roomclass. Can't enough say how much I appreciate the whole lessons and the tips to start this new way to explore the World. Keep up the awesome job guys!! Best always Jose.

Three words: Totally worth it. My best friend got me into motorcycles and she pushed taking the MSF class just to see if I'd still be interested in getting one. Not only does the MSF class teach you the basics, they go into deep detail of what motorcycling is about and how to properly maneuver and ride. The guys were very professional and personable and knew heaps about all types of motorcycles, especially since they've been riding for many years. Take the course. Learn from the course. Practice outside of the course. If you're not prepared before you ride, you're not prepared to ride in general.

Finishing up the CMSP training to get my full motorcycle license. I learned a lot and recommend it. In addition to lowering your insurance rates, you dont have to take the driving exam part at DMV, which is designed to have you fail and take this class. If you do take the DMV exam, use a bike that is under 500cc. Some interesting facts they presented in the class was: two years ago 50% of motorcycle fatalities were due to alcohol. Last year it was 29%. Most accidents with motorcycles are due to drivers that cant negotiate curves. 50% of motorcycle drivers don't have licenses. Cutting of lanes in California only became legal last year and is only supposed to happen if traffic is moving less than 30 mph.... Good info! I did this class in three days in Livermore.

    Our class.

I was taught how to turn the steering wheel, use turn signals, using the brakes and accelerator, changing lanes, merging lanes, deal with traffic circles, speed limit, and so much more! I went from driving with no accelerator around my neighborhood to driving with the accelerator in the main roads! Great progress :) Second lesson was with Shelby, who was very good as well! She showed me DMV routes, taught me how to reverse in a straight line, lane changes when there was a bike lane present, and had me practicing what I needed to practice most. I am now very good at turning, performing the task of a U-Turn, changing lanes, and looking out for bikers in bike lanes. My last instructor was Christian, who was excellent! Very verbal in a very good way. He repeated things that were important so I could remember him saying those things. He taught me how to look ahead at all times, he taught me how to park in the mall parking lot, and he really worked on straight parking! Thanks to him, I can park at many places and I'm able to park along the curb without ever hitting it! Overall, every instructor I had were excellent! They were able to teach me with patience, tips, and of course, kindness and encouragement! Very informative and they prepare you VERY WELL for the DMV behind-the-wheel test!

She very rudely over the phone accused me of giving her the wrong address, which I did not. When she finally got to the correct address she verbally attacked my sister for giving her the wrong address, thinking she was talking to me. She pointed her finger in my sister's face as she was aggressively speaking to her. My husband then asked for a discount considering we paid for 1 full hour of training plus the actual DMV driving test (to use the car) As he was not going to get the full hour he was only getting 30 minutes drive time before the DMV driving test appointment. Jezel was very rude and then started blaming him for the address navigation "issue". She told my husband "i don't have to be here i can go home, do you want to go or not"!? I ended up on the phone with jezels boss and she was more concerned with me paying full price for something we were not going to receive than she was from this very unprofessional situation. I talked my husband into going with her, in hopes that he would pass the test, when they got into the car, the first thing she asked him was where he was from (he has a thick accent, her follow up question was "are you Muslim" then asked him why he was wearing a cross necklace (i am not sure how this is relevant to the driving test.) After all was said and done he got 30 minutes driving time, and we didn't get a single cent for a discount and she asked him for a tip. A TIP?

I'm a freshly 20 year old female without any experience behind the wheel, and I mean any!! Unfortunately, my nerves got the best of me during my first lesson and I freaked out. I caused myself and my instructor some stress, and sadly I was unmotivated to drive for a while. Before I left a negative review, I contacted Bay Hill's through email. They made things right and scheduled my second appointment with JP, and he was fantastic! I went from shaking like a leaf behind the wheel to having genuine confidence in 2 hours-- No exaggeration! We drove around and shared a heartfelt conversation, in which he also shared some tips on lane switching and turns. Halfway through our session, we stopped for water and stretches, so I knew my comfortability was respected. The negative reviews on this business are so upsetting. This is an excellent Asian-owned, woman-owned small business with so much diversity on their staff. If your first lesson goes awry, contact them!!! They are bound to have someone you are comfortable with. This is an honest review! I could not recommend Bay Hill Driving School enough!

She would smack gum, eat food, and generally had an attitude of not caring. Only until my last class did she run me through a couple of rules but I never really learnt anything under her teaching. It was high pressure and everything I learned was like being tested without knowing there was a test or what the material was on. The only saving grace here is that the people at the office are great, they kindly signed my second permit and gave me another learning certificate for $25 when I lost my first one. I would shop around for a better driving school before settling on this one.

When we came back from the trip we brought in our '95 Range Rover soft dash for a service and to tackle some engine issues. He almost immediately gave us the bad news that he thought the engine needed a full rebuild. We trusted him and we left the vehicle. Initially we were given an estimate of 4-6 weeks. 2 months later we had to call him to ask where we were with the rebuild. He said he hadn't even started and that he was busy prepping his race car. We asked what the issue was and he didn't have an answer and said we can always just come pick up our vehicle. We came to pick up the vehicle and he assured us he could do the engine and would start shortly. This was confusing, but we left the vehicle and waited for him to complete the work. Finally in a couple more months we got a big bill, which he said we were only able to pay by check or cash. Honestly we were excited to pickup the car and didn't really think anything else of it. We drove out of the shop and got on the freeway when the car started smoking. We called Mike and he gruffly said that it was fine and just oil burning off. By the time we arrived at home, we live in the Danville area, the car was barely operational. We called Mike again who told us he had a few restorations underway and he didn't have time to look at it. We called a third time and he said there was really no way he could help us, but in a completely rude way. I couldn't believe it. I'd never been talked to that way on the phone by anyone. We figured out why he wanted us to pay with a check so we couldn't get any recourse of the payment. We ended up having to go to another shop and completely rebuild the engine again. We found out he billed us for new parts when they were used and broken in addition to cutting gaskets and hoses roughly by hand so it looked like a mess under the hood and spilled oil and coolant everywhere. The final conclusion we wanted to share was that Mike is beyond rude, a poor mechanic, an unethical businessman and a dishonest person. I would suggest avoiding this shop at all costs since the alternative was our expensive mistake with our beloved RR "soft dash".
