I can't comment on how the food is because I did not eat it. I live out of town so I placed an online order like I would in my hometown and went in to pick it up. When I walked in the trash cans were overflowing. This was around lunch time on a Monday. When I walked up to the counter, the area behind the counter was very messy and littered with chips all over the floor. The back cooking station was messy as well. Upon seeing this, I asked for a refund. I was told they could not give me a refund. I was very disappointed and hope that someone from this location will get this restaurant cleaned up before they are closed down for good. read more

They filled my burrito to the brim with the best carnitas I've ever had the pleasure of eating at a burrito fast casual establishment. Food is good. The problem is with the staff. During the COVID-19 lockdown bullshit that we all had to suffer through , we have had to resort to ordering food through the door dash app. No problems with that. The first 2 times that we ordered from here, everything was perfect. And that's was during the hype of the pandemic. But as everything is getting better and the pandemic is calming down, the people who work here have become lazy. The last 4 times that we have ordered from this location, food have been left off the order. The problem is, it's a 20 minute drive from our house and we have already paid the door dash driver for their service. So when we called to complain, one time the woman hung up. The last time the lady put my wife on hold. For the fun of it, she put the phone on speaker phone and laid it on the table. 22 minutes later, she used my phone to call the same place. Ok, staff doesn't give a fuck. We spent about $150 a month with this place, that's over. If you are in Albany, Ga and you want good Mexican food and good service..... go to Mi Casa. Small building. I went up and asked for wet rag to clean my table and they gave me two wet wipes. As much as we pay for food, she should have said she would come and clean it for us. If they beefed it up I would give it 5 stars but since they wanted to be greedy and their pricing is more than other similar places, best I can do is a 3. We usually have a pretty good experience when we visit. Tonight there was something different though. The employees weren't as friendly, the food quality was up to par. There were no cup holders for togo orders. Tonight we got the weekly special which was the chick salad without the bowl, so that I could get the chips and eat with salsa and purchased queso cheese later for a snack. That didn't happen this time. They didn't put any chips in the bag as the had before. My other 2 meals ordered were nachos and a burrito. The chips were stale and oily. As I was paying for my meal(about 5 minutes) I looked behind the counter watching the employees working, there was food spilled and dropped on the floor. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Albany. It is better than Moes or Chipotle, in my opinion. The meat is seasoned perfectly, and they have a good variety of fresh toppings.
