The strip mall-esque location is unassuming in a residential alcove, but perhaps that's why it's a hidden gem. When: we chose to dine in right as the doors opened at 11:30AM, I believe we arrived right after 11:40AM to a nearly empty restaurant. While the restaurant did fill up after 12PM for the lunch rush - service and offerings were very ample. The Welcome: a blend of glass, black furnishings along with Chinese tea decorations; the restaurant itself, while not vast - one can be seated at a table or at a booth with shared/individual pots, in addition to shared barbecue plate. Service: one of the draws for my friend (multiple visits), and myself as 1st timer; service was not only consistent, frequent, but also friendly. 10 minute increments with up to 9 items delivered by a robot and then placed onto our table by hand, broths and beverages refilled, and waiters checking on tables if anything is needed; showed a deep level of attentiveness and caring-ness. The food: while a table cannot do both barbecue and hot pot at the same time - hot pot can be enjoyed from a shared pot, a non-shared individual pot and something I have never seen (non-shared individual split half and half pots). My party & I: - non-shared individual split half and half: tomato/sukiyaki , I don't remember the other two pots, but that we each enjoyed our pots. - Just to name a few: Wagyu, pork belly, lobster balls, seafood platter, lamb, multiple cuts of beef, chicken wings, beef tripe & tendon, enoki mushrooms, fried bao with condensed milk, grilled sticky rice with brown sugar, etc. I cannot name all of what was ordered, but know that we left extremely full. The floors are extremely slippery!! Under my table, in the hallway, in the middle of the restaurant, and in the restroom. Everywhere was slippery. Pros: the Tom yum and tomato broth were both delicious and full of flavor, especially when it reduced. Someone in my group said their fries were some of the best they've had. They were crispy yet soft, hot, and moist in the center. The Chinese fried donut was also a big hit. The sauce bar selection is large and well stocked. There is also a self serve veggies, tofu, and noodle section. Cons: the quality of the beef belly and wagyu were both severely lacking. Came here on Sat early evening for dinner. We were going to order the more expensive menu, but end up we placed too many items in the shopping cart (we misunderstood 6 items per person rather than 6 items per order) and their website bounced us back to the home page with the cheaper menu setting. So we were stuck with the cheaper hotpot dinner menu. The major difference between those two would be 1) unlimited American Wagyu and Australian Wagyu vs. 1 portion (2 slides) of American Wagyu, 2) unlimited premium seafood items including salmon sashimi, tai sashimi and abalone vs. 1 portion of premium seafood platter (1 portion of salmon sashimi, tai sashimi, and 1 pc of abalone), and 3) unlimited fountain drink in the more expensive menu. It was our first time coming here. The quality of the meat is comparable to other AYCE hotpot places in the area. The only reason that this place did not win me a 4-star rating is the ordering experience. I understand the restaurants want to minimize food waste, so they have a cap of 6 items (for a party of 2) and every 10 minutes. And we only got 1 hour to order food too. They do have some of their veggies and hotpot toppings at the buffet station. While it's easy to order food via the phone, I'm just not a big fan of having my phone on the table to order refill every 10 minutes. Toppings here lean toward to Mainland China style hotpot. Service was spot on though - food came out quickly and they had team members checking on our soup level throughout the night! This place does allow you to choose between a big communal pot or an individual pot - and for the individual pot, you could also choose to have a split pot too. So I think that's an amazing selling point for those who wants to have hotpot with friends and want to have two soup bases! Supreme Pot is a new hotpot place that opened in Daly City and so we had to check it out. Overall, the restaurant is really spacious and can seat large parties. Came in with a party of 3 and we got seated immediately and got right to ordering. Service is really good and attentive and we're overall very nice to us the entire time. One thing that differs from other hotpot places is that they have a 9 entree limit for every 10 limits, and typically the limits are for meats but they compile the menu with things like rice, chicken wings, gyoza, lettuce, Enoki mushrooms, and such. So it was a bit annoying to deal with waiting on some of the none meat items that other hotpot places don't usually place a timer on. The food bar had things like cabbage, kimchi, and other Chinese vegetables. For meat recommendations, definitely the Chuck Beef and Pork Belly. Wouldn't recommend the American wagyu as it just came with 2 slices and was really tough and not for my liking. They have a really good dessert option with Fried Buns with Condensation Milk, Sesame Balls, and ice-cream all included in the price. For AYCE dinner, it came out to around $40 a person which is typical pricing for the area. read more

Had a nice visit to Supreme Pot after not being there for over a year. They have moved a lot of things like greens, tofu, noodles, and various meatballs to grab on your own near the sauce bar. I was happy to be able to grab all the spinach and bok choy that I wanted! I also liked how you could grab all the tofu options including my favorite frozen tofu. This time I got a split pot with tomato and Japanese miso as the options, though after I threw a bunch of garlic and spicy oil in both, they tasted about the same. I think the split pot idea is interesting but then it kind of limits the size of things you can put in there. Service was fast and friendly. We were sitting near the window and it was pleasant. The parking lot here is still a bit of a challenge with all the construction but there is plenty of parking. read more

First of all, I love how spacious the restaurant is so we aren't stuffed in a hot pot sauna or risk bumping and running into people. The house spicy and the herbal soup is my favorite and WHAT?!? you are allowed to have your own pot and get both broths? I remembered their sauce bar not having everything I needed, but it was pretty stocked this time. Everything is ordered through the phone, and the side bars filled out with veggies, noodles, sides, fruits, and smalla sides makes the business very efficient. Came to celebrate Mother's Day with my party of 7 around lunch, we were seated right away. Supreme pot is AYCE hot pot, with individual bowls. I loved the Japanese miso broth, the Tom yum was also good but definitely more smog a medium spice level. I loved the beef slices (thin like brisket), the angus pork belly meat was a little too tough for my liking. They also have a great selection of veggies, seafood, noodles, and dessert to add to your meal. I liked the roe fish balls, and for dessert their rice cake in brown sugar was amazing! Service is quick, there are robots that come out with your food and then the servers distribute your food. They were really attentive checking in on us, and we got whatever we needed really quickly. The only downsides to this place are that it is in a plaza going though lots of renovation, so it's not a cute vibe to hang out after your meal. Also, you can only order from the QR code from 1 phone, which makes it annoying to keep asking whoever is in charge to order. We enjoyed the supreme beef and lamb, other meats were fine. They could do better with portion sizes. We only got 4 pieces of shrimp, mussels, fish tofu each in one order but then bowl full of fish filet and squid. There was so much that it felt like we were given a whole filet and squid. Vegetable options were also limited and sadly not fresh. Some were frozen and others were old and browning. But there were enough items we liked and we left very full. Went here on thanksgiving when our friends reserved one of the private rooms. For an all you can eat place, the food quality was still very good and the menu offering was pretty extensive. My friends and I were celebrating a birthday and got the karaoke room. We had about 15 people and it was quite frustrating that they allowed that many people in the room. We were very squished and didn't have any elbow room. Some of us had to share pots instead of everyone having individual pots. It was really uncomfortable to eat like that. Aside from that, even walking into the restaurant, there was no one in the front so I had to find a waiter to ask where the karaoke room was. It wasn't the best experience, but it was still a fun time. I will say the food was pretty good. So it made the experience a lot better. We got to order everything from our phones by scanning a QR code. Either the waiter will bring the food, or the robot will deliver it. They had a very good variety of different meats, seafood, veggies, etc. I would come here again, but probably in a smaller group. Went around 5 pm when they opened for dinner on a Saturday and was able to get a table immediately for our party of 5. Their ordering system is pretty efficient on your phone where you can select up to 15 items per order and they place it all on your table each time a staff member or robot brings the items out. I love that they have the option to choose the big shared hot pot or individual hot pots where you can now choose two different flavors for the individual ones too! I got the sukiyaki broth and mushroom broth which were both really nice. The sukiyaki was more meaty and sweet while the mushroom one was more mild and light. The quality of their meat was pretty good and had the classic options of pork, beef and lamb to choose from. My sister's favorite was the lamb and the rest of us really enjoyed their wagyu that came with an egg yolk to mix with and was super soft. For both options, you can have 2 types of soups or just one, but either way your pot will still have the divider down the middle. It is all you can eat for 90 minutes, and you order using the QR code provided. You can only order 6 dishes every 10 minutes. There is also an additional charge for food waste: $5/50g. I went during weekday dinner and I think it was $32.99/adult. What I love most about this place is that there is a robot that comes around and brings your order and since you're ordering on the app, you don't need to wait for a staff to tend to you. They also offer free soup refills! They have a standard sauce station, and they also offer fresh cut fruits (I didn't have any). We came with a large party of 8 right at opening (5pm) on a Saturday night so there was no wait. But the only available table for that size was the one right by the door and I was freezing the whole time as I was sitting closest to the entrance. The wind was hitting me every time someone opened the door. As for the food, the meats were very underwhelming. You can tell the quality was not good. My favorite is usually beef belly but the beef belly here barely had any fat layerings and tasted the same as the normal beef. All the beef in general had similar textures and were just ok. I got a personal split pot with seafood broth and sukiyaki. Both were tasty and the seafood broth elevated the taste of vegetables by making them sweeter. The highlights of the meal were the variety in menu items, sauce bar, and quick service. There were soooo many different items available to order. I especially enjoyed the pork tripe and Chinese dough sticks. The ice cream was also delicious and perfect for a post meal treat. Skip the fried buns with condensed milk, though.
