I had my first haircut at Supreme the day I moved here back in 2019 and I've never gone anywhere else since. Supreme has several barbers, all of them capable of doing a good cut. Having said that, I prefer Domingo ahead of the other barbers. There's never a long wait to get a haircut at Supreme. The vibe is laid-back. I don't know if there is a formal of even informal way to make an appointment, but the general way of business is walk-in first come first served, though you do have the option of waiting until your favorite barber frees up. What I really like about Barber is that the price for a basic haircut is currently $25, the same as it was back in 2019. That includes a hot shaving cream cleanup around your neck. Cash only. It's paid street parking , but Arlington/Rosslyn street parking is cheap. read more

I've gone here before and it wasn't a bad experience but today was a different story. Never been so disappointed in my life. Wish I would have got his name but don't go unless you know a barber don't let a random cut you ‼. I made that mistake ‍ today. I asked for a mid fade and got a bullsh** fade. I'm very particular about my hair, and Supreme is one of the best barbershops in the DMV. Its hard to find someone who can do a mean fade and also has razor skills, and most of the barbers and supreme are great at both. Second time coming here. It really depends on which barber you get. The first one two years ago was decent. Mid fade. This time my two sons went and the cuts were average. Secondly, one is highly discouraged from using a credit card. There is an ATM on site, but it seems sketchy to use. The boss did allow me to use a credit card and only charge one convenience fee. But as we transition to a cashless society, this place has to evolve as well. read more

The one star is not related to my haircut but the fact that I was charged $60 for a haircut. So $60 is the price of a haircut and beard. I had multiple times very clearly told the barber I don't want you to trim my beard or do anything to it just use a straight edge to line it up. I've had this done here multiple times by other barbers including this guy. Mind you the first time I went to him for similar cut and beard line up he tied to pull this shit but the owner was right there and told him it's an additional dollar for a line up not $20. Of course now this barber is no longer near the owner and tells me it's $60. Absolutely furious. Had I known you were going to charge me to do "my beard" then I would have had you to do my beard instead of telling you MULTIPLE TIMES I'll do my beard at home. Seriously the owner needs to be more responsible for his employees and what they are doing with regards to upcharging their customers. My suggestion would be for customers to check out with the owner who can ask the barber what was done so this not repeatedly occurs as it's clear from other customers this occurs often. Forewarned. Or else I'll ask the better business bureau to look into your practices. read more

I want to start by saying I've been going to Supreme since 2021 and it had always been a fantastic haircut up until recently. The last 2-3 times I've been there, my skin fades felt extremely rushed and have lacked any attention to detail. There has been little blending and patchy spots across my head. I've noticed some newer faces at Supreme, but it's some of the more seasoned guys that I've gone to as of late that haven't been delivering. It used to be worth every part of the $30-$35 plus tip. I decided to check out Supreme on a rainy Sunday, instead of my usual franchised hair removal center. Surprised to see they were slammed busy on such an ugly rainy day, but a seat opened up as soon as I walked in. The haircut came out great and I love the hot lather straight razor neck shaving! Really great work on the fade and clean up on the sides, definitely more technique than your average cut at this price. But severely disappointing work up top where it counts. I just needed a super simple trim for really short hair - walked in handsome, walked out imbalanced and worse off. If you're looking to clean up the sides this is a great spot. I live nearby and decided to give these guys a shot. I'm usually a bit hesitant to try new barbers, but glad I did. First, they do a pretty good job. I've been about 4 times now, and have yet to be disappointed (even after going to a few different guys). They're always friendly and take their job seriously. I've also had them trim my beard and haven't had any issues with that either (whereas I usually screw it up on my own when it gets longer and I make an attempt at trimming it). Quick, clean, friendly. I got a fade from the 1 on the sides and just a half inch off the top so I could casually brush hair to the side with some pomade. As long as you know what you want, they can do it! 4/5 just because there were very small details I noticed, like several strands of hair that were missed. Overall, I was very pleased. I'll say that I LOVE the concept of this place- an "old school" barber shop cranking out (mostly) mens' fades with no muss, no fuss. Went here for the first time this week as a walk-in and was greeted warmly by the owner, who is also one of the barbers. My wait was minimal, and I was soon being cropped by the very same owner/barber who greeted me. While friendly, his hair cutting skills leave something to be desired. I couldn't have a simpler cut for a shop like this- a mid fade #1 clippers and a tapered back with 1/2 inch off the top. Unfortunately, the barber failed to blend the entire left side of my hair and, before I could say anything, he took the clippers and made a strafing run from front to back across the top of my head- leaving a strange, inverted ridge in my hair. I'm not a trained barber, but I know that that is simply not the way to cut the top of someone's hair. Thankfully, the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut for most men is a few weeks. The one thing I want to say is that there were other barbers in this shop who clearly did great jobs on their customers, so I don't want to trash this place entirely. If you go here, I would just suggest that you choose your barber carefully. read more

Found this place by chance and was very skeptical since my experience with random barbers tend to not know how to cut my very thin/fine Asian hair. I decided to take a chance since my hair was very long and my go-to barber won't be back for another two weeks. I never got the guy's name who cut my hair, but he had a lot of attention to detail and after I went home to wash my hair, I was very surprised of the results!
