You're better off just texting instructions to your barber. I have a line of men's hair/skin care that I've been sticking to for years, but I wish some of these places would break it down for you. There are several choices in terms of products there, and I'm always interested in recommendations as to what would be good for guys with short dark hair, etc, since I'm not going to spend $1000 sampling each one, half of which I've never heard of. All in all worth at least two visits to start.

An Air Force LtCol came in and saw the chairs were both occupied, so he talked to the lady who was cutting my hair and told her that he'd be back. The way he talked to her and she recognized him gave me the impression he was a regular, so that boosted my confidence in her abilities. She did a great job cutting my hair. She didn't dilly dally and got the job done fairly quick. But then... any of you military types who have been to the Western Pacific before will remember the haircuts there. I wanted to go get my haircut every day in Okinawa not because my hair grew that fast, but because of the scalp and neck massage they gave you at the end of your haircut. Yep, for $10 here at Ono Salon, they'll cut your hair and give you a warm towel massage on the back of your neck (that's almost worth $10 in and of itself if you ask me!). So if you're in the north end of Crystal City and looking for a place to get your haircut, give Ono Salon a try. (Then go across the hall to the Soup Nutsy and get some awesome soup and a sandwich! :-) ).
