My body started to relax immediately when she started treating me with acupuncture, and I was in a blissful daze for hours after!!! Booking my appointment online was a breeze as well. I plan to incorporate her tips and see where it goes. It feels great to feel seen by someone with such specialized knowledge. It's not just the high quality of the acupuncture itself but the mindset she's putting me in, with practical advices (food, types of movement, even how to frame the whole health thing for me...), that make it worth the trip for me. I went again recently after the birth of my daughter to invest in a little self care with a womb massage from Bianca and it was amazing! Bianca took the time to hear my concerns beforehand and evaluate the current state of my body. The womb massage felt so nurturing and relaxing - so much so that I woke myself from my own snoring! I told Bianca that that rarely happens and speaks to the power of her healing hands which just melted away tension and gave my body the attention it needed postpartum. I highly recommend Luminae and the awesome team of strong, nurturing, and empowering team of women that provide such thoughtful care. I'm looking forward to booking a deep tissue massage next!

She was very easy to talk to and had an easygoing demeanor, but spoke with a lot of authority and clearly had deep knowledge of pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. It made both of us feel confident enough to move forward with a home birth. Throughout my pregnancy, Grace provided excellent and thorough care. She would explain any decisions that came up (like what tests I was taking, various parts of the birth plan, etc) and offer nonjudgmental advice where needed. For the actual delivery, Grace was a hero and saw us through as best as we possibly could have asked for. She was very careful to explain things in great detail so we wouldn't feel stressed - "coughing is totally normal, he's clearing out his lungs", or "that color is totally normal until he gets some oxygen!". Finally, the postpartum care was above and beyond what I could have hoped. She came to us in the comfort of our home, was available by text for any little questions we had, and was a constant source of assurance for us as new parents and someone who had recently given birth. The whole time we worked with her, we felt like we were in very capable hands and well cared for as individuals and as new parents. We are so grateful for Grace and will definitely work with her again when it is time for baby number 2.

I would 1000% recommend doing one-on-one training sessions--it's the best money I've ever spent on myself. Thanks to our workouts, I had an incredibly easy delivery and post-partum recovery. Tal radiates positive energy! She kept me smiling, fit, motivated, and--most importantly--SAFE throughout my pregnancy. Her workouts were not only fun but also incorporate many moves that can actually be used during labor. She was always in-tune to my needs and would adapt her routines--even mid-workout--to make sure I was safe and pain-free. I also loved that she emphasized important foundations (e.g. proper breathing technique, connecting breath to core and pelvic floor, safe ways to get in/out of bed, ways to avoid diastasis recti, etc). I continue to use those skills daily. Not only is Tal a mama herself, she has years of experience as a specialized prenatal/post-partum personal trainer. She even stays up-to-date with ACOG recommendations and takes refresher maternal health courses. As a physician, I was impressed with the depth of her knowledge. If you train with her, you get access to her Strong Mama Fitness online for free--another incredible resource. Although she is no longer local in the Bay Area, she is available for 1-on-1 virtual training via Zoom. Our virtual sessions were super convenient, all without sacrificing quality. I am certain that my experience with Keelia made THE difference in achieving the birth of my…read moredaughter the ways that I wanted it- delaying at home for as long as possible, no pain meds and a positive, empowered experience. My biggest fears were my low pain tolerance and lack of control over knowing exactly how it would go. Shortly before our due date, Keelia came over to review our birth plan and a timeline of what to expect for pre-labor, active labor, travel to the birth center, transition, and delivery. She made sure we practiced comfort measures, breathing and how I wanted to be supported verbally. It wasn't until the last moments with Keelia where she looked me in the eye and said I was ready, that I actually felt prepared to go into labor and meet my daughter. 2 days later, my water broke in the middle of the night. For the next 44 hours of contractions, naps, two car rides up to the birth center, a traumatic cervical check on day one to then be sent back home, many walks around the neighborhood, yoga ball bouncing, 1 game of Monopoly, snacks, massages, and support - Keelia was at our beck and call. By the time we got to the birth center (again) on day 2 after 36 hours, I was only at 1cm and 50% effaced. Keelia helped me calm down from exhausition and frustration at this news, and we made a plan to get misoprostol to thin my cervix but hopefully proceed with no other interventions. Miraculously, Ava was born 7 hours later. Keelia coached me through contractions which came back to back for hours, waved lavendar oil in front of my face for nausea, massaged my back, covered the clock when she noticed it stressing me out, got me into the shower with Joe when I hit the wall of transition, and helped me breathe through pushing - 3 contractions! She reassured me every step of the way - calmly & knowing I could do it at all moments. In this amazing doula's hands, I felt loved, safe, and supported. Thank you, Keelia.

We met with Keelia at our place for dinner and knew she was the right person for the job. She has a very soothing and calm personality and is a great listener (which is a rare quality). She made herself available for texts and calls before the pregnancy and we had to text and call her a few times anytime my wife was exhibiting symptoms she was concerned about. Keelia was responsive to our questions and did her best to answer them even though some of them were of a medical nature. During the labor process she was also fantastic. Very calm and composed under pressure and very responsive to my wife's needs. My wife, in no uncertain terms, declared that she wouldn't have been able to do it without Keelia. Keelia massaged her during every contraction and it seemed that was the only thing that would help with pain management. In fact because of the massaging my wife was able to make it to 9 cm without an epidural -- she was super fatigued which is why she ended up doing the epidural but I'm pretty sure if labor hadn't occurred during the wee hours of the morning Keelia's massage techniques would have helped her give birth without using any medication. Thanks Keelia, you were great.

Ronit was so sweet, made me feel comfortable especially with my first ever prenatal massage. I highly recommend her! My husband and I later also hired her to be our doula for the delivery of my son. Ronit is very responsive whenever we had questions. She was very informative during our meetings leading up to my due date. One big thing for us was making sure our doula did not push their own agenda or replace my husband during the labor/delivery process. Ronit was respectful of our wishes, empowered my husband with hands on techniques and ways to better support me, and provided comfort and additional knowledge about labor which gave us peace of mind since we were first timers at the labor process, and that was priceless.
