I needed Myofascial release, and was happy to discover that it not only helped eliminate the pain, but also loosened and opened up my whole upper body. I felt taller and so much more loose and relaxed. I felt so good that I booked another session. That experience helped me feel great as well, and my wrists feel much better. I plan to continue to work with Nancy, because I am confident that her work will foster a growing comfort in my body. She is a real gem! She helps me tremendously with chronic back, knee and ankle pain and with RSI issues in my arms. Since seeing her I have been able to increase the flexibility I lost in my lower legs after an ankle reconstruction and I'm actually able to safely walk stairs and inclines after years of feeling like I would fall at any moment. If you are experiencing any kind of skeletal-muscular issues, you could not do better than going to see Nancy.

I was sadly unimpressed by Oak Bloom OT. We took my 3yo for an based on a recommendation from…read more school and were able to get an appt the next week with a very new OT (less than a year in practice). She was friendly but when we arrived she immediately said, bye to me and asked me to wait outside. I felt this was very strange and since being at a new OT center, have learned it is not typical to separate a young child (3yo) from their caregiver right from the start. However, I stayed outside and felt my son was safe there. When we met to discuss her findings the meeting was just a disaster. She had nothing prepared, she just read from her clinical notes (which we had already seen), didn't go over the sensory profile results, couldn't give a straight answer on anything we asked, and we ended up having to lead the meeting and set next steps. We changed OTs that afternoon. I understand being new in the health care field, as I have been there myself. But with proper oversight these kind of meetings that completely destroy any trust or confidence that was built can be avoided. A few more practical items: - parking is on the street which is fairly easy in the mornings - the stairwell to get up to the office is very narrow and dark, and my son immediately was like, uh no. - they won't provide any ICD coding (even functional) so you can't submit for insurance reimbursement. Overall it was a waste of money for us, unfortunately. I'm very glad other parents have had so much better experiences for their little ones!

Not good. This is a business and they prioritize that over your adequate care. I would go somewhere…read moreelse if you are needing anything beyond a health screen or physical. I don't trust them otherwise! A nurse practitioner (Stephen?) did a "heat test" meaning he used his hands to feel for a heat differential on my low back tissue pain before deeming me releasable from my any further treatment despite my chronic & ongoing pain. OK -- WHAT KIND OF VOODOO CRAP IS THIS. I'm still experiencing pain. Unacceptable and deceptive. One of the receptionist has attitude that needs to be checked. She is hungry for power and will make you weight. The other one (Kristina) is very pleasant and actually does her job. So it goes. I've gotten "Physical Therapy" (PT) here. While the PT was very pleasant, my PT was less active and more passive. It was 30 minutes maximum of getting my injury gently massaged and gossip. This delayed strengthening vital muscles that could actually help in recovery, which is what I did when I switched to another PT provider at a different organization entirely and experienced less pain. I've seen enough here and am very disappointed. If you want adequate and ongoing care, run away from here go elsewhere!!!
