Aspenleiter was recommended by a friend, and I had a great experience. I walked in having done research on Sebo vacuums and mostly knowing what I wanted. The salesperson (name I am currently forgetting) was very helpful, let me "test drive" multiple models, and was knowledgeable about different features. The kitchen counters (Granite) and new sink and faucet were all of the highest quality also. They have their own professional counter installers which I never could have done myself since they were granite. They installed the under mount sink. I installed the fauctet. I had surgery & couldn't lift more than 5# so I couldn't actually use the vacuum untill day 11 after purchase. Well, when I finally got to use it, I loved the vacuum itself but it was a lot heavier than I expected when it came to going up and down the stairs with it. It was also very bulky when it came to vacuuming around furniture, cat beds, etc in my townhome. I looked at the receipt to check the return policy and it's only 7 days for a full money return!!! OMG!! The sales person (owner? not sure) was pleasant & easy to work with during purchase (but who wouldn't be when you are about to sell one of the most expensive vacuums in your store). She did not verbally tell me about this 7 day return policy before purchase - that's bad customer service especially when she knew that I had surgery & couldn't lift the whole vacuum (I drove my car to the front door & she lifted the box into my car). I called today to clarify if my eyes were reading it correctly & she confirmed the 7 day policy & said very sarcastically, "well, that's why we have carpet so you can try it out in the store." Um, all I could do was move the handle part back & forth on the carpet to get a feel for the ease of moving it back & forth - she doesn't have a 2nd floor to carry the canister up & down (not that I could have done it that day anyway). Be a better business owner and either (1) make a more reasonable return policy or (2) ensure that you are 1000% transparent about the crappy return policy. Full disclosure - there is a 30 day return for "store credit" - however, this is a specialty vacuum store with very limited choices that are going to have similar heavier features as the one I bought.

Only problem I have with them is that most companies I've worked with will apply the service call fee (~$125 in this case) towards the actual repair if a repair is needed, and Register Appliance does not. Generally, the service call fee is to cover the cost of sending a service tech out when no actual service is needed--and maybe covering a very, very simple fix (like tightening a loose hose or something). In this company's case, this is not true. To be clear, I was informed of this when I booked them, so this was NOT a surprise, but I was also in a bit of a tough spot, as my mother needed a working dryer immediately.

I called on 10/25 about having a snow blower serviced. They said it was still Fall so they'd have to prioritize lawn mowers first. Okay, that's fine. The person on the phone said they would look at it in the following 2 weeks. 3 weeks passed since that initial phone call and I've heard nothing from them. We had a snow storm this week so I called them up and they mentioned they were swamped (likely due to the storm). I told them it's been three weeks since our chat and over 2 weeks since they picked the device up. The owner said he'd "move us to the front of the line because [I] sounded anxious." The owner was helpful, had it looked at on Thursday, called Friday with an update and then again today after a full assessment. While I'm disappointed I had to call things seem to have moved quickly since then.

Asked the "office manager" what the labor rate was and "she didn't know". This wasn't a tankless water heater or anything special just a 50 gallon electric water heater. When the owner called me he said "Did you shop around we are the cheapest" And no we didn't because we had you install a faucet several weeks back that we supplied and the bill was $400.! So being loyal to local business was a priority. How wrong we were. If you stop and think about the price of the water heater whether it be same day service (which we did not ask for) what a rip off that company is. Stay far far away!
