When we went to buy a new dishwasher a year ago, we mentioned not being happy with a refrigerator that we bought there, but was out of warranty. They said that was unacceptable and took it upon themselves to get the manufacturer to make it right. We got a brand new one as a result. The latest bit of praise is that I messed up a setting on the microwave I got there a while back and Steve, spent 45 minutes with me in the phone trying to fix it. When we had no luck , he emailed me my receipt, which I lost and set up a service call for me. This people is why I go to this store and not a big box. Service is everything when you need help with an expensive item.

We have a new all-in-one washer/dryer that was leaking soon after delivery (or the leak was…read morenoticed). Too late to return so GE set up a repair call under warranty with Appliance Tec. I sent specific information on the machine and the problem. This is a newer model machine as well. The first tech that was sent over told me that he didn't work on these machines and kind of stood around and then gave up. This was not impressive. However, a different tech came the following day (Andres). And, he was able to take the machine apart and find the origin of the leak. The replacement parts were ordered. And, I was happy to see Andres a few weeks later with the replacement parts. He showed us the problem (a hole and crack in the detergent dispenser ... On a new machine) and replaced it in about an hour and a half. We were the 10th appointment of the day according to the appointment tracker. And he was still efficient and polite. So, while it was a rough start. I'm happy to say it got better!

I prefer refurbished because I feel I get a higher quality product, it just comes dings and dents. Bought a Maytag, was asking 350.00 but we offered 250.00 and we will take it with us ourselves. (they offer delivery for a small cost) but we have a truck. The salesman was nice, he helped us load it up. He accepted our offer. Took it home, hooked it up. Works perfect! Would definitely recommend, and will be going back when needed. The store is clean, staff knowledgeable and friendly.

The person who answered was very helpful, which was a big plus. The entrance is on the side with the small parking lot. Once you walk in, the store seems to go on and on. They've got everything you could need for home improvement projects, even the smallest ones. The staff on the floor were friendly and knowledgeable--another big plus. I liked the idea of supporting a local business for what I needed instead of going to a big-box store. That said, you might pay a little more for some items. I'm also thinking of calling to see if they offer knife sharpening--another local hardware store I know does this. The inside is just what you'd expect from a hardware store: neat, tidy, and well-organized. Definitely worth a visit! Parking can be tricky, with a small lot and some street parking available.

The machines smell horrible. On my first time here I did not realize the door automatically locked at 11. My clothes took forever to dry and I ran out to my car to get an extra laundry bag to pack them in. When I walked back I could not get into the laundromat. I called the owner several times and I got no response. When I looked on the door I saw in super small print that the door automatically locks. I did not know and I accept that was my mistake. The door also says that it opens at 6am so then next morning I arrive at 6 am hoping to get my stuff and not one is here and the door remains locked. I have called the number multiple times no response. Laundry is not cheap and at the very least the owner should be responsive to inquiries. Further more, the owner blocked my number instead of responding.
