Instead, I got hit with high-pressure sales for an overpriced cleaning, questionable part replacements, and a maintenance plan. I agreed for convenience. Big mistake. Since their visit, the system hasn't worked. They've been out multiple times, and every tech gives a different excuse. One sent a $1,500 estimate blaming the system. Another said that they should not have sent the estimate because the unit it was frozen and couldn't be diagnosed. They also admitted they forgot to remove something during the cleaning, causing the freeze--but said it was fixed. Days later, it froze again. Now they deny that ever happened and blame something else. Bottom line: the unit worked until they touched it. Now it doesn't. They promised a pressure test to figure out the issue but canceled after I posted an honest review. I'm now paying another company to diagnose and clean up their mess. Zero accountability, constant upselling, and a new excuse every time. Save your time and money--avoid Beltway Heating and Air.

My home's AC completely stopped working last night. I called Chason at 8am, and one of their technicians, Steve, arrived just after 11am. He was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, and I learned a lot about the cooling system that I didn't know before. To sum it up, it was top-notch service at a fair price. You really can't beat the quality of small, family-owned businesses. It's no surprise they've been in business for 75 years. The next time I need service, I won't hesitate to call Chason. I can also confidently say they'll be my first recommendation to any friends/family that require work. Thank you Steve!

After the initial quote, it was difficult to get a hold of Steve to move forward, and the onboarding process was never completed. A major pain point was the answering service: every time I called to follow up and couldn't reach him directly, I had to re-explain the project from scratch. After several weeks of limited progress and unreturned calls, we ultimately had to go with another provider. It's unfortunate, as the potential is there, but the lack of communication and operational continuity made it impossible to complete the project.

(Elmar's quotes beat out the other guys, fyi.) Brian was also very responsive to email which was helpful because I did have a few questions before selecting a quote and after installation. We ended up going with Hitachi ductless mini split units. We liked them for the built in Wi-Fi and the slightly lower cost than the Mitsubishi. Onto the install. We were scheduled for the following week after signing the quote. But oops on us -- we were having windows and doors installed by another company and they wanted to come the same week that Elmar was scheduled. I reached out to Brian and Elmar was able to reschedule for the following week, thank goodness, so I appreciated their flexibility. Now onto the actual install. Joe and another guy came out on a Tuesday to start the install. We didn't know exactly what needed to happen, but they were great at letting us know what they would be doing each day. I can't speak to the intricacies of their work specifically since it's not my expertise, but my husband really liked the ductwork they installed outside the house, so that counts for a lot in my book because he would definitely say something if it didn't seem right. Also high marks for Joe and the second guy (i really wish I remembered his name. Sorry!) because they were super friendly to me and my dog hanging around the house while they were here. The units have only been installed a couple of weeks but so far, so good. They run quiet and put out a lot of cool air. I was on my way to work when I saw two of your trucks (love the graphics). I didn't have time to speak with the two technicians, so I noted the phone number to research later. After reading the reviews, I placed an online request for service. I was contacted within the hour (on a Saturday!) by Billy (weekend tech) who told me he could come that day if it was urgent (it wasn't). He forwarded my request to Lindsay, who contacted me the following Monday. She explained pricing options and scheduled service for the following day. The service tech (Bill) was great! He arrived on time, assessed the issue, and completed the repair. He answered all of my questions (even the dumb ones)! I could tell he enjoys the job and takes pride in his work. To say I am impressed with this company is an understatement. From start to finish, this was a stress-free ordeal. I am now a proud member of the Comfort Club and highly recommend Maryland Heating and Air!

She didn't want to answer any of my questions she said I was asking too many questions concerning my air conditioning unit. She tried to force maintenance service on me when all I wanted was my unit fixed at the time. She refused to let her husband fix my unit. He was going to FIX IT. SHE TOLD HIM NO! You are not fixing it. She wanted me to maintenance done now and without me getting maintenance done I could not get my unit fix the drain was clogged, they saw a problem. So she stormed out the door tracking all kinds of dirt on my carpet as she left and said she would bill me , really please this company is a two person company her customer service was unacceptable. ttwice before going to Lucas air! UPDATE ALERT! So Lucas air responded to my review and told 95% lies. 1. As we all know the weather has been chilly and my air was off for over 24 hours so I did not continue to run my air. 2. I NEVER got irate with Lucas air, Lucas Air got irate with me because they wanted me to purchase a maintenance package instead of unclogging MY drain. 3. The only truth in Lucas response was my carpet was wet, that's how I found out my furnace was leaking. 4. I CALLED MY home warranty company, reported the very rude and unprofessional service from Lucas Air, they sent out a new company the very next day and the new company fixed the furnace with pleasure and did all necessary maintenance that needed to be done to the furnace, added a easy access drain spout so the clog could be prevented in the future, ALL COVERED! Luca Air got a PARTNER VIOLATION AGAINST THEM FROM MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO FIX MY FURNACE WITHOUT ME PURCHASING A MAINTENANCE PACKAGE FROM THEM. That speaks for itself.
