I have now used Victory three times. Jeff is my 'go to'!…read more The first time used Victory Plumbing I needed a back-up hot water tank that had failed removed. The project required disconnecting and capping the water lines; disconnecting and capping the gas line; capping the exhaust line; and removal and disposal of the tank. Len the Plumber quoted $1100. Jeff was able to complete the job for $450. Last month, while traveling out of town, my wife called to tell me the hot water tank was leaking. I gave her Jeff's number and asked he to call him, telling him that I would be back in town in early afternoon. Jeff and his apprentice met me at 3:30pm as arranged and replaced my tank within 90 minutes. It was relief to have a professional available for an 'emergency' that I could count upon to show up on time and take care of the problem immediately. Two days ago, Jeff came out and was able to quickly diagnose and repair a small gas line leak on my fireplace within a very short period of time. His work is always neat ,efficient, and reasonably priced. Lastly, when you call the number, Jeff is the person that answers... and he always answers his phone unless both hands are in a project at that moment.

After they left I was pleased with their work until I tried to flush by toilet. The handle of the toilet was loose and the mechanism inside the tank was not flushing properly. The tank continued to fill with water and then drain. I guess they just did the easy jobs.

Fluid Plumbing & Heating - The old cracked cast iron pipe

I recently had the pleasure of working with Fluid Plumbing & Heating to ensure that my plumbing was…read morevented properly and my water heater was up to code. I initially contacted the company regarding a shower issue. Brian contacted me and we discussed several concerns with my home. He was extremely patient and educated me on terminology to fully comprehend what was needed to resolve my issues. We made an appointment and Brian stopped by to repair a pipe on my water heater. Brian is EXTREMELY professional and so down to earth. He repaired the pipe, took the time to look at my plumbing issues and advised me on the best route to move forward. I had another company come out earlier that week for a similar estimate. The work the other company suggested would have been more invasive and would have required several drywall/tile repairs. Brian is extremely considerate and understood my concerns regarding my home. He said "let's try the least invasive route first" and I received a quote within a day. I then coordinated with Rob to schedule the work (which also included installing an expansion tank for my water heater). I met both Rob and Daniel this past Wednesday and it was an absolute pleasure! I stayed out of their way and I have so much respect for their work. They resolved all of the plumbing issues before 5 and brought everything up to code. I've been dealing with these concerns for 10 yrs so I screamed when I saw that everything was resolved. Their work was extremely thorough and they tested everything prior to leaving. I have so much respect for their ingenuity and practicality. My house was cleaned prior to their departure and everything now runs smoothly. I am EXTREMELY thankful that I went with Fluid where other companies left me a little hopeless. This was a great experience and I look forward to future work with this team of AMAZING, kind & knowledgeable professionals!

Brian O'Connor and Fluid Plumbing & Heating came highly recommended to me by a friend and the…read morereferral did not disappoint. I had an emergency, Brian was unavailable, but he had another experienced skilled plumber, Rob, out the same day to assess. An old cast iron sewage pipe cracked and was leaking into my basement and had to be replaced along with connections to upstairs toilets. The next day, Rob and Jaykri came to my rescue. They did the job under their own cost proposal and at a significantly lower price than a big-name competitor's proposal. Brian moved a schedule around to fit me in and got the job done in 1 day. (The other company could not even start until 3 days later) Rob and Jaykri even fixed a couple other odd plumbing issues (shower cartridges, broken valve knobs, etc.) while they were at my house. The Fluid Plumbing & Heating team were knowledgeable, professional, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. No one ever wants to need a plumber, but I am so happy to have them in my saved contacts. Added they work on boilers, radiators, and radiant floor heat, so sadly I am sure I will need them in the future.

Have used their service several times as they are the only local company that my home warranty will…read moresend to my area and have never had a pleasant experience. The technician always arrives hours after the scheduled appointment time, which is a four hour window, and no one calls to let you know they are running late. Do not make any plans the day of your service, and go ahead and call out of work for 2 or 3 days because I have had them reschedule for the next day when the technician wasn't able to make it before the close of business more than once and their repairs usually require more than one visit. Also, once a technician came to repair a small leak and created an even bigger issue. Whatever he did caused a problem with our water pressure resulting in a screeching noise throughout my house so loud that our neighbors could hear it. The only way to get it to stop was to run my kitchen faucet at full blast for TWO DAYS as that was when their next available appointment was and they refused to send someone out to address the issue they created any sooner. They also replaced the overflow tank of our hot water heater and the technician was late, as usual, but other than that had no issues... until a few months later when they came out to replace the hot water heater and claimed that the overflow tank was on the wrong side and they'd have to charge me extra to fix it and bring it "up to code." An overflow tank that THEY had replaced a few months earlier and it wasn't on the wrong side then!! Obviously just trying to pocket more money... they refused to replace the hot water heater without doing this extra repair and I am stuck with this company because of my home warranty. Please BEWARE of this company... subpar service and jacked up pricing.

His pricing ended up being more competitive than several of the larger companies I received quotes from, and Ricardo did a better job at answering my questions and explaining the thought process behind his recommendations. He is very thorough and does extensive testing after the work is done to make sure everything is in proper order. I would highly recommend Cool On to anyone needing HVAC service.

This man will hustle and break his back to earn your business and build a relationship with his customers. He takes pride in his work. I cannot recommend this place enough. On a Friday afternoon, I reached out to ~5-7 vendors to assess a broken HVAC in a DC condo. Ricardo was able to come out IMMEDIATELY at 8PM on a Friday night. He did a quick dusting of the unit which hadn't been serviced in a while and even went to the roof as a part of his diagnosis. After sticking around for a couple hours trying to find the source of the problem, I was mentally preparing myself to pay a diagnosis and service fee, but there was no such thing. What signaled to me Ricardo was top notch was the fact that this man lives in Baltimore, easily a 50-minute commute from where I was in DC. He didn't leave until I was satisfied with his work until 930PM on a FRIDAY night. This type of service is difficult if not impossible to find. Ricardo patiently explained what the problem was, why I wouldn't have working AC after he would leave, and what my options were. He was very transparent with pricing, sent over a couple of quotes, and laid out what install schedules would look like depending on which manufacturer I went with. He and his team came in Tuesday and the install lasted about 7 hours. Fully working AC in less than 2 business days at a reasonable and competitive price. You cannot beat that.
