Brian O'Connor and Fluid Plumbing & Heating came highly recommended to me by a friend and the referral did not disappoint. I had an emergency, Brian was unavailable, but he had another experienced skilled plumber, Rob, out the same day to assess. An old cast iron sewage pipe cracked and was leaking into my basement and had to be replaced along with connections to upstairs toilets. The next day, Rob and Jaykri came to my rescue. They did the job under their own cost proposal and at a significantly lower price than a big-name competitor's proposal. Brian moved a schedule around to fit me in and got the job done in 1 day. (The other company could not even start until 3 days later) Rob and Jaykri even fixed a couple other odd plumbing issues (shower cartridges, broken valve knobs, etc.) while they were at my house. The Fluid Plumbing & Heating team were knowledgeable, professional, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. No one ever wants to need a plumber, but I am so happy to have them in my saved contacts. I recently had the pleasure of working with Fluid Plumbing & Heating to ensure that my plumbing was vented properly and my water heater was up to code. I initially contacted the company regarding a shower issue. Brian contacted me and we discussed several concerns with my home. He was extremely patient and educated me on terminology to fully comprehend what was needed to resolve my issues. We made an appointment and Brian stopped by to repair a pipe on my water heater. Brian is EXTREMELY professional and so down to earth. He repaired the pipe, took the time to look at my plumbing issues and advised me on the best route to move forward. I had another company come out earlier that week for a similar estimate. The work the other company suggested would have been more invasive and would have required several drywall/tile repairs. Brian is extremely considerate and understood my concerns regarding my home. He said "let's try the least invasive route first" and I received a quote within a day. I then coordinated with Rob to schedule the work (which also included installing an expansion tank for my water heater). I met both Rob and Daniel this past Wednesday and it was an absolute pleasure! I stayed out of their way and I have so much respect for their work. They resolved all of the plumbing issues before 5 and brought everything up to code. I've been dealing with these concerns for 10 yrs so I screamed when I saw that everything was resolved. Their work was extremely thorough and they tested everything prior to leaving. I have so much respect for their ingenuity and practicality. My house was cleaned prior to their departure and everything now runs smoothly. I continue to be impressed with this company! Our hot water heater broke and we had a new one in about 36 hours. The new water heater had difficulty working with our archaic heat and flue system. Instead of ignoring the issue Scott continued to investigate and came back to the house several times. He was able to determine that we had a flue issue and helped us coordinate a solution. While hard to set up time for a non emergency job (a testament to the quality of work and the demand for their services) Brian takes the time and talks through all the options, is clean, thorough and provides a high quality of work. Always worth the wait. I've used them a few times, the first being when my hot water heater burst and leaked on condo units below me. Brian was out the next day, on a Friday to replace it for me, even staying until almost 7PM to get the job done. I've recommended them to neighbors who've received the same level of service. In the process of selling our home, we found we had several plumbing issues that required repair including a leaking hot water heater. Our realtor recommended Fluid Plumbing. I was able to speak to someone on my first call (something I do not take for granted any longer). We talked about the work, and he inquired as to when I needed the work completed. Two plumbers came out the same day and completed all the work in one visit. Brian explained everything, and I really felt like I learned a lot during the service. He also managed to fix the leak without replacing the entire system. I really trust Fluid Plumbing's work and recommend them without hesitation. Based on the number of repairs done and the time spent, the cost was very reasonable. You might be able to find cheaper, but that was why we needed repair work in the first place.
