For two adults and two kids plus dinner, our total came out to around $60, which felt like a really good value. The kids had an absolute blast playing in the surf and sand, and it was such an easy, laid-back way to spend the evening. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty of parking, which made everything super convenient. Definitely a solid family spot.

Right from the start, we were stuck waiting in line for about 30 minutes in the blazing sun with no organization or consideration for guests who had already paid for premium seating. When we finally got through, we were met with a pretty poor attitude, which set the tone for the rest of the visit. The cabana itself was dusty and clearly not properly cleaned. It also took quite a while for a server to even come by, and when they finally did, the service didn't improve much. Basic amenities were missing, the fridge only had warm water when we arrived, and there was no ice available. For the price, that's unacceptable. Food service was frustratingly slow, and when it finally arrived, it was brought out without napkins or silverware. We had to request things you wouldn't even think to ask for, and even after asking, it took another 30 minutes for those items to be brought out. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, overpriced, and poorly managed. Honestly, take your money elsewhere.

I brought my dog who stayed on leash and just observed and played on the grass. We walked around the huge lake where there were people fishing. This place is BEAUTIFUL. I want to like it and not be ungrateful…read more I signed up exclusively for basketball. There's 3 courts and plenty of space. First two times I arrived all 3 were blocked off for various other rec things. I go in today and one court is blocked off for PICKLEBALL. YES, they have an empty Pickleball court and lifted the hoops even though there's 30 pickleball courts outside. The 2nd court had 5 year old kids training with coaches. The 3rd court has Seniors fitness day even though we have multiple patios, an upstairs section, an actual gym that hardly gets used and an outdoor pool area. What's the point in 3 courts if they are the least allowed to be used? Their first gym floor was improperly installed and they just had the entire gym closed for about 6 weeks. I was excited to come back and play on better floors. I get there and the SAME EXACT floors were installed... the wrong floor type and the panels were installed in the wrong orientation AGAIN! lady at the front desk even mentioned it to me. They never put a clear coat over the top of the floor and they used basic sticker tape on top of the floors to create their basketball outline again. You can use your fingernails and feel the lifted exposed tape. THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE ANKLE INJURIES IN THE FUTURE!!! You cannot have exposed, lift tape as people are sliding and stopping on them. I dove for a ball on day 1 and ripped a 6 inch hole on my hip because the floor is like concrete with no surface coating that allows forgiveness. Absolutely disappointing week 1. I go to the gym. It's low energy and the music is sooo low you can't even hear the lyrics. PUMP IT UP!!! Feels like a quiet retirement center at the moment. I'm going to consider ending my membership after the first month if they keep blocking off the courts. I will adjust my rating if they continue to make this place better. I am not a complainer but when you install the wrong floors twice and make it unplayable... you're going to lose the basketball community. (Fingers crossed) EDIT: Soooooo. I jumped through their hoops and scheduled time off to fit into their slim schedule to make their Open Gym on Wednesday night. I walk in and one court has half the court blocked off with an empty PICKLEBALL court AGAIN!!!! The other court was blocked off with some skills challenge. THEY BLOCKED OFF TWO COURTS TO PUT TWO RANDOM GAMES THAT WAS NOT BEING USED INSTEAD OF PUTTING THE SKILLS CHALLENGE AND THE PICKBALL COURT ON THE SAME COURT TO FREE UP AN ENTIRE BASKETBALL COURT!!!! How incompetent can management be???!!! It doesn't matter how beautiful the facility is if there's no common sense to what your community wants. We had 14 of us asking them to move the skills challenge to the basketball/pickleball court so we can play. Nope... we all have to sit there and follow bad rules and watch two half courts not being used. These tactics is EXACTLY why Legacy Sports Complex down the street wasn't successful. Another beautiful facility ran by incompetent middle management people who have zero clue about sports. I don't like speaking about people like this. But they're deserving to be scolded after non stop negligence. People on FB were complaining too and their friends didn't come out after they found out we couldn't play AGAIN! Absolutely wild. It's been one week and I'm already debating on canceling. How much money is this facility loosing in opportunity costs because of this? Lowed my rating another star again. I will raise my star rating if someone improves the common sense at this place.

I was reading online that Six Flags was closing by 2027? I hope it's only certain locations! We came to Hurricane Harbor Phoenix the weekend before school starts for our first time and had a great time! I recommend coming right when they open. The day we came they opened at 1030 am. The lines weren't long at all. I did learn that we should have gone to the popular rides first because the lines got long in the afternoon at Big Kahuna, Mammoth falls and Serpentines/Typhoon Twister. The boys really loved the rainbow slide with the blue mat you lay on. We did this one a few times. The wait for the ride wasn't bad because 6 people can slide down at the same time. The wave pool was also very popular, we went here a few times as well. The big kahuna is a family fun ride! You sit in a huge raft that can fit large groups. We waited for maybe 35 min so this would also be one of the rides you should go to first when they open. I do appreciate all the misters that are attached on the railings at all the rides. This made waiting in line in the Arizona heat very bare-able! The only ride we didn't get to was Bahama Blaster, next time this will be one of the rides we go to once they open. I did not bring my younger son, who is 4, but now I know he will love the little kid rides at Coconut Bay and Splash Island! I can't wait to bring him, he will have so much fun! I took pictures of most of the food menus because prices have increased throughout the years. I was looking ahead of time to get a ball park of what food would cost but could not find updated prices. I was trying to decide if the food pass is worth it. We didn't have complaints about the food. My husband and my son's friend liked their burger and fries, my son and I liked the nachos. If your kids don't like jalapeños, you can ask for them on the side. The icee slushee drink is huge, the boys did not finish theirs. You could easily get one and have the kids split it. The park does have drinking fountains near the bathrooms if you need a quick sip of water while running around or you can go into the tidal wave cafe and get a water cup from the counter and get free water with ice at the soda station. They do offer a food pass which I might consider for next season! Not a bad deal! I do wish the park would stay open till end of October instead of September because it's usually still very warm here in Phoenix. Thanks for the fun experience and see you next time!

I visited Great Wolf Lodge on 05/04/2026 from 11am to 7:30pm with my whole class for a fun field…read moretrip, and it ended up being such a great day. I hadn't been to this specific location before, but I've gone to the Garden Grove one many times. One thing I noticed right away was that this one felt a bit smaller--just a couple fewer slides and a little less space overall--but it didn't take away from the experience. We arrived around 10:45am, and my teacher grabbed our wristbands in about five minutes, which was awesome, especially since it seemed kind of busy. By 11, we had our stuff set down and headed into the indoor water park. The first thing I did was the white group raft slide (fits about 2-5 people), and it was such a fun way to kick off the day. Of course, I had to try the red group raft next too. After that, my friends and I spent a couple hours going between the wave pool and the lazy river, which never got old. By 1pm, we were ready for lunch. I brought my own food, but I couldn't resist getting dessert after--a double scoop of ice cream from the creamery (cookie dough and mint chip). It was honestly amazing and easily one of the best resort ice creams I've had. After lunch, we went back to the slides and lazy river again. Luckily, my mom had signed the permission slip for me to stay an extra six hours--best decision ever. Around 3:30pm, I started exploring more on my own and tried the solo slides. Just like the group ones, there were red and white versions, but flipped in terms of intensity. The white one was definitely more fun, and I loved the small drop right before the end. My absolute favorite, though, was the red group slide. It starts like a normal twisty slide, then slows down before dropping you a few feet and swinging you side to side--it had all of us laughing nonstop, especially when my friend accidentally bounced up in the air. Around 6:15pm, we grabbed dinner. I got two slices of pepperoni pizza, a Pepsi, and a cookie. The pizza was actually better than I expected, and the cookie--an Otis Spunkmeyer--was so good. Definitely something I'd get again. After eating, I relaxed in the hot tub around 6:45pm. It wasn't too hot, which I actually liked because super hot water can make me dizzy. We left at 7:30pm, and honestly, I was surprised how fast the day flew by. I thought I might get bored after a few hours, but I stayed entertained the entire time. I can definitely see myself coming back here with my family soon. Great Wolf Lodge is AWESOME!

Came to Great Wolf Lodge Scottsdale for a family trip and there are certainly some great things,…read morebut also real drawbacks to coming here. Pros: you don't technically have to leave the premises, which is honestly a huge win with kids you can use Hilton Honors points to book the stay, which is a nice perk (although you don't earn points on the stay itself) they offer water diapers for the little ones, which makes things easier it's very clearly geared toward families and younger kids there are non water-based activities like story time, yoga, art, dance parties, and character appearances, and the app makes it easy to see the daily schedule the water park itself is clean and well staffed with lifeguards, which gave me some peace of mind check-in activities and the overall "camp" vibe are really exciting for kids right from the start make sure to grab the wolf ears at check-in, and ask about the photo op since the email about it may not actually come through Cons: food is not very healthy and also pretty overpriced for what it is kids get overstimulated quickly between the noise, crowds, and constant activity the water park doesn't open until 10 am and closes at 8 pm, which feels like a missed opportunity. earlier hours would make a big difference long lines for things like slides, food, and check-in during peak times rooms are very dark and they do not provide a night light the bunk beds look cute but the mattresses are thin and uncomfortable pillows were lumpy and not great for sleeping they really nickel and dime you for everything. ropes course, bowling, arcade, MagiQuest, etc all cost extra and it adds up fast the passes are basically necessary if your kids want to do multiple activities. we did the pup pass which included a build a bear (very basic, no clothing) and a few arcade games there are people on site trying to sell Hilton Grand Vacations packages, which felt intrusive and honestly a bit annoying during a family trip Bottom line: My daughter was so happy and still talks about her memories from this trip, which ultimately made it worth it. That said, it's not the most relaxing or cost-effective experience for parents. If I were to go again, I would bring my own food or do delivery, bring my own pillows, and skip the bunk beds even though they're cute. I'd also plan ahead for activities and probably just commit to a pass upfront to avoid the constant add-ons. It's one of those places that's magical for kids, but you definitely pay for that magic in more ways than one.

It's $40/$41 if you buy a water part ticket before you visit. $41/42 if you buy the day of. That's really expensive for a water park only open for 5 hours AND only half of it being open. Only the Sunsplash part was open and all the slides weren't. All the Golfland side of the water park was closed. They should have off season prices. If you decide to take advantage of all the other activities AND the waterpark for the day they have a pass that's $50/$51 if you buy before the day you go and $51/52 if you buy the day of. That does indeed make it a lot more worth it but they still should have off season prices. And honestly... if the prices I saw WERE off season prices and they only go up, that is crazy. CRRRRAAAAAZZZZZYYYYYYYY. I swear when I was younger you used to be able to bring in your own food. I gotta think when Covid happened and they were closed for over an entire season that they hurt so bad they stopped letting people bring their own food in? Maybe it was before that. I had not been in so long, the last time I remember going for a full day was 7 years ago, not including when I worked a cannabis event 3 years ago and attended another cannabis event there 5 ? Years ago. Just referring to the water park. I also remember way back In the day there used to be a subway. And you can't enter from the water park entrance anymore unless you go to the castle to get a wristband first. So you can't pay at the ticket counter at the water park anymore. That looks long shut down? Maybe just for off season idk. The prices are crazy and you can't bring your own food in. What about people with dietary restrictions? They'd probably get a lot more business if they let people bring their own food in. But to spend so much money to go and then spend so much more to eat, especially in this economy probably discourages people from visiting. AZ diamondbacks chase stadium started letting people bring their own food in and sales skyrocketed. I'm sure if enough people complained they'd do something. The laser tag game was lame. My gun didn't work for crap. My husbands gun and vest didn't work at all so they spend half the 10 minute game trying to get something for him to work so the never turned the lights down or turned the music on and we just walked around with lights and silence. It seems as if this place has gone up in price and down in quality. They had money to make a new slide maybe thinking that would bring more people in but I'm not sure it's really going to. But have to up charge for everything and not allow food in because they don't make enough money because Covid happened?? Okay.. The memberships they have aren't bad tho honestly. If you live close, they could definitely be worth it. They offer you a monthly pass for $19/m which gives you a discount on a pass that grants access to the water park. If you decide to pay for that, after your first year of having the monthly pass, you get the water park pass for free the next year. But how they suck you in is if you cancel ever, you'd have to do it all over again. Along time ago the membership options were way better. My kiddo was grandfathered into the old program with the old price. (which is how I know) They also sucked those people in, if they ever cancel they can never get that price back. You can't find the membership options on the app, you have to use the website. All the employees are kids. Seems like a good place to get a first time job. There are 3 different golf courses, bumper cars and boats and race carts plus the arcade and laser tag. It was a fun day but there was a lot to say and improvement that this place could get. It's old and needs a little fine tuning. Not a new waterslide ha.
