My kids have been with the TLE franchise for 3+ years each and their curriculum is not only fun for children, but engages them to think critically and exercise their problem solving skills. My three year old enjoys coming home and reading his library books at the end of the day, and my daughter would always vocalize how much she enjoyed her activity tables. My children have been to a total of 7 daycares throughout their lives, and this is the first time their experience has been great enough to write a review. It also has to be mentioned that the staff has cared greatly for me as a mom. As a working mom with limited availability, they have listened to my desires, been a shoulder to vent to, and they are just "real people" who "get it". I will be sad to leave this TLE family as we transition, but I know that any incoming families will be in great hands. My twin 4-year-old grandsons have only been here a short while, but I'm beyond impressed with the entire experience. The director and front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and always greet us with a smile, which makes drop-offs a breeze. But what really stands out to me is the teaching staff. Every teacher we've met has been friendly and truly cares for the children. They also have structured lesson plans, even starting in the K-prep 4-year-olds classroom, which has been amazing for my grandsons' development. I love the updates that are sent to parents throughout the day - knowing my son is so loved and cared for helps ease my heart while I'm at work. When we first started going, he would cry a lot during drop-off, so one of his teachers would always come up and help him adjust or get him involved in a fun activity or snack. I would watch on their TVs in the lobby how our son would go from tears to laughter in a matter of minutes. We're so grateful for the ways that the La Petite teachers have gone the extra mile for our son.

She continues to learn and grow in so many ways and they have allowed her to express herself in her own way. She has big emotions and lots of energy and as a mom I know that can be hard to manage sometimes. They have handled her with care, kindness and compassion. My child has been part of this center for 3 years. My child loved going to school the first 2…read moreyears. The past director did a great job of keeping up with what changes needed to take place in order to create healthy learning and development of our little one and class rooms. Over the last year we have noticed a dip in operations and leadership. My little one started to constantly told us she did not want to go to school. We started to take more details as to why our little one felt this way and deliver communication with leads/teachers on the challenges. Given they have had lots of transition operationally wanted to partner on a solution. However, no actions were taken. Leaders were not great with communication and partnership on creating development plans with my child. The teachers were all very honest and expressed they can only due so much given high classroom counts and being short staffed consistently. Several teachers also expressed have difficulty with several kids in the high classroom numbers and not getting leadership support. Then creating a lack of positive culture and environment. That piece is important to us as parents. Very high teacher turnover the last year, we experienced a lack of consistency for the class room changes along with no communication on changes to us parents. Ie. If a teacher was no longer working at the center for our classroom we were not notified. This can be challenging for little ones without consistency and consistency rotating different teachers within the same day. We also have had issues with the office over charging payments. We did have to sit down and explain and breakdown payments to the leads in order for it to get corrected. It is unfortunate experience I believe the classroom structure from 3 years and up can uses some additional training and education. Leadership best practices can be critique to provide action planning. Example: listening to all sides including: parents and teachers feedback to create healthier environments for the children to thrive. This would be my biggest recommendation. In addition, training, support and education to the new operations leaders/teachers in order to create action plans to support healthy changes for children in our community is key to successful development.
