DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I booked a shuttle the day of my flight, and it was accepted and they took my money with no problem. When I arrived at LaGuardia and checked in that evening, I received a phone call telling me that they wouldn't be able to get a van to the airport for at least 90 minutes, even though my flight had arrived exactly at the time specified in my reservation. The only solution they were able to offer was cancelling my reservation. Just terrible all the way around. It doesn't deserve a full star in the rating, but Yelp doesn't let me give it the 0 it deserves. read more

I use yelp for everything else, why did i not use it to check out this shuttle service? Scheduled pick up of 6:10am really meant stand outside of your hotel until 6:50am. Then we had to grab other passengers throughout manhattan. Our hotel was in the Financial District, they were 40 minutes late, and we still have to pick up 3 other passengers? We swung by to pick up this girl with a pickup time of 7:00am and she decides to argue with the driver that she is not ready and will be down in 20 minutes. The driver says there is no way we are going to wait that long but we end up waiting for her anyways. So not only is the shuttle service crappy, fellow passengers can screw you too. Saving $10 to $15 is definitely not worth this headache. BEWARE!! read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Absolutely my worst cab/van experience in NYC. The wait is ridiculously long, my wait was almost an hour and 45 min. even though I had a reservation. We used them two time while in New York. First to go from LeGuardia to our hotel and second from the cruise ship terminal to LeGuardia again. The first trip was ok for us but other riders were very flustrated because the airport trip coordinators put in the wrong addresses for the driver. The second trip was very flustrating for us because the driver was not sure how to pick up passenger at the terminal. Both trips got us to our destination on time. read more

Hit or miss- I took this twice. First time was for a 1am flight. The driver arrived early, and I was the only passenger. The shuttle was a new, clean 15 seater. However, the second time was for a 9am flight. Towards the end of the scheduled pickup time frame (15 mins), I got a message saying driver would be 15 mins late. 20 mins later, I called, and they told me driver won't be there for another 20. That would've been almost an hour later than the beginning of my scheduled pickup time frame. They weren't able to send another (closer) van, so I cancelled and took a cab instead. read more

Waited an hour and twenty minutes for shuttle at LGA - was told the shuttle would be twenty minutes. Got a text that gave my shuttle info and I should be picked up in a couple of minutes. However, the driver didn't take me. I had to wait another hour for another shuttle while I could follow my original shuttle around the map they sent. Other passengers in van had waited even longer. No explanation of why original driver refused me and why the long wait for so many different passengers. read more

I used this service to go from manhattan to Laguardia and I am very happy with the experience.They texted me few times on that day and notified me of the shuttle's whereabouts so i knew exactly when they will pick me up They had given me a ten minute time frame when i booked the service online.but i guess since its a shared van some passengers might show up a bit later than they should so they can not give you an exact time until it gets very close to your pick up time. read more

None of the New York City area airport shuttles get very good reviews, but this has to be the worst. Whatever money you save taking the shuttle service is certainly not worth the hassle. I would rather lug my bags around the subway then do this again. I waited for an hour and a half despite having had a reservation and checking in on line as soon as I pick up my baggage. I watched on their app as my van driver circled JFK two or three times. And of course the driver can't bother to announce what stop he's at (not always easy to see from the back of a dirty van), so nobody knows who is supposed to be getting off. read more

DO NOT USE this car service. Upon arrival in Ft. Myers, I had to wait 15 minutes past the scheduled pick up time. The taxi that picked my two children and myself up was dirty and stunk. The driver admitted she was late because she stopped to get a coke. On the morning of our departure from the resort, I called to confirm my pick up time of 9:45. At 10:00 I had to call and they said my reservation was cancelled! I had to have concierge call a cab for me which was another 15 minutes. I barely made my flight - another 5 minutes and we would of missed it. The laughing point was this horrible car service called at 11:00 asking if I still needed to be picked up at the resort! When I arrived at Kennedy Airport at 4:15 am and called for my pre arranged and confirmed pick up I was then told that I would be picked up at 6:00 and not 4:47 am as previously promised. The rude girl on the phone got annoyed with me for being upset. I was offered a refund but still had no way to get home. I was never told this pick up was a problem. She then told me "we don't have any cars at that time and I have to wait for people to be picked up and brought to Kennedy!!!! I was appalled. I ended up taking a yellow cab home which cost me $200!! Oh why, oh why did I not read the reviews on Super Shuttle before I booked (and paid, thank you very much) for their services online. I won't bore you with my entire narrative on this nightmare of a trip, but here are a few highlights. This was a pick up from the airport to the UES. The driver wouldn't touch my bag, made me schelp it all the way from the terminal to the van where he reluctantly put it. A couple was inside the van when I hopped in, they were already mad as they had been circling the airport for 20 minutes. After getting me, the driver kept going around and around as more people called in for pick up. At one point, the driver pulled over, turned off the engine and left the vehicle without a word and without opening one door or window. We thought we were going to pass out from the heat. We left the airport 45 minutes AFTER I got in the van. When I questioned him as to how long before we left the airport, he barked at me and said he didn't know, he'd keep circling until dispatch told him to leave. Amazingly unpleasant. Horrible. Worst $24 I've ever spent. You'd be better off taking the subway. Seriously. Save yourself, avoid this company at all costs. Jeez, I'm mad all over again just thinking about my experience. read more

What a MESS!!!!! I was going to be picked up at 1am from restaurant I was located to go yo JFK. I got shuttle because a couple told me metro was not too safe after 12pm. Well, fortunately I made a friend at restaurant because here I was alone, restaurant closed and no shuttle bus. I had seen a black van parked out front but did not think it was for me. I had scheduled a Super Shuttle Van (we all know it is BLUE AND YELLOW!!!) Around 1:15am I call Super Shuttle from friend's phone (mine was dying) and at the same time they called me on my phone. Where are you? Where am I? Where are you? I said i see a black van pulling off right now but NO Super Shuttle van. The guy on the phone proceeds to tell me they sent Golden Touch a partnering organization. Hello!!!!! I asked to have driver come back. When he came back he didn't even stop!!! I had to run to stop light with luggage and bang on the window. The driver had the nerve to say where have you been?! And proceed to yell at me. I told him look, I have been waiting since 12:30am and your vehicle is not marked Super Shuttle. I told him I was very unhappy I had been in the dark and he needed to take it up with his company as would I!!! I called to complain to customer service. Made arrangements for airport pickup and drop off for my trip to NYC. Upon arrival I followed the instructions and went to ground transportation desk at Newark to let them know I have arrived. Waited 45 minutes before the shuttle arrived, at least the driver was courteous. However he didnt apologize for running late. A different driver picked us up around the corner from our hotel due to street construction. He did not greet us nor smiled. In the shuttle, the driver knocked his tablet off from the holder and almost hit a taxi while trying to put it back on the holder. I sat on the passenger side and thought I was going to get hit. He mumbled Laguardia to the passengers, and said it at least 3 times before we realize he was asking us who was going to Laguardia. He didnt ask a question so no one understood to reply. When we did reply, Laguardia and JFK, the driver pointed out that he asked a question and no on responded. He dropped off passengers at Laguardia first, then continued to JFK. There were terminal detours at JFK and he circled twice bc he didnt read the signs. I even pointed out the sign that said All Terminals. The sign was lighted and had a lighted arrow pointing direction, he was still flustered. I booked supershuttle in advance to not worry about transportation. However, the experience was horrible. I booked supershuttle for my dc visit, worried that the experoence will not improve. In the future, I will be taking a taxi. read more

You get what you pay for. Did not have to wait long, but packed like sardines from Newark to NYC, and my friend and I could not sit together. We were told to pay the driver upon reaching our destination. Driver indicated his credit card reader was not getting a "signal" so he asked for cash since he was "unable" to run our credit cards. Felt like a scam and later learned it is...our hotel concierge confirmed they hear lots of horror stories about this service. Will neither recommend nor use this service again. read more

I was scheduled to leave out of LaGuardia at 6:55am they gave me 3 options of times that they could pick me up with the shared can I chose the time frame of 4:20-4:45 I got pick up on time but the driver wasn't too friendly so anyways I was the first to be pick up. Next we picked up another lady that was flogging out of JFK. We got to the next passengers house at 4:56am which was too early because they wasn't scheduled to be picked up until 5:30. Once informed this we were told to wait with my flight having to be boarded at 6:25am and the driver still had 2 other pick ups to do. I called the dispatcher to explain to him the situation he told me that there was nothing he could do for me and my ONLY options were to either wait and hope for the best or get out get your refund and find a cab. Also the dispatcher told me that I should have booked my time three hours before my flight even though they give you the chance to choose the options giving. So I went on to ask well if you guys suggest that why would you give me later options which he said nothing to.To sum up the story I had to grab all my belongings and walk up a hill to find a cab since the driver wouldn't take me up a block while we waited for the 5:30 passenger to come. If there is a negative star option I would give -5 stars. I booked a round trip to and from the airport. The trip to the airport was going to be 10:15 pm. At 8:00 pm I received a message telling me my driver was picking me up in 10 mins. I was confused and called the company and they told me it was a mistake. I was picked up at 10:15 pm and because I was the only passenger everything went smoothly. On my return trip, it was a NIGHTMARE. I arrived at the airport, checked in online, and monitored the bus on the map. I neither received a message telling me my driver was there nor did I see anyone at the welcome center where I was told to wait. I didn't leave for a second. Next thing I saw on the map was that the shuttle passed through my terminal and drove away. I called the company and they said the driver "didn't see me and picked someone else up." What the F was that supposed to mean?! Then they said the next shuttle would arrive in an HOUR and suggested me to take a taxi or Uber instead. Yeah I took Uber and it was fast, nice and comfortable. I booked a shuttle from LaGuardia for 2:30 because I needed to get to work asap after landing and wanted to beat Manhattan traffic. My plane landed at 2. After myself and the friendly LaGuardia employee called dispatch- the driver showed up at 3:45. The map showed the van was sitting in the parking lot since before 3. When he arrived (vehicle #820 on 9/7) I asked him what the delay was and he dismissively responded "the airport is slow"- so he waited u until he got multiple calls. The problem is- I pre-paid- including a 50% tip. I always tip drivers well since driving in this city is so stressful. If I had the option I would have just taken advantage of one of the 50 other ways to get into the city but I waited it out since I had already paid. I understand why one/a business would want to take multiple people at once (it is a shuttle after all)- but then it should be made clear when scheduling a pickup and pre-paying (and making plans for that day)- that the driver will just show up when he feels like it, not when the appointment time is set for. It was incredibly frustrating after being in airports since 5 am and two flights- to see the van sitting in the parking lot for an hour- after my scheduled time, while I waited inside. I took the SS from EWR to upper west side and back to JFK. Both trips were fine. EWR-UWS took an inordinate amount of time to get out of the airport, and I had to pay cash in advance so the driver could get across the bridge (What? No E-ZPass?? Really???)--he did actually pay the toll in cash, so I'm not sure what that was about...hopefully a fluke. He was a reasonably careful driver and I got to my destination safely and relatively soon (I was the first drop-off). UWS to JFK was very professionally handled--notifications were prompt and the driver was excellent. It took a reasonable amount of time to get to the airport (I was the first to be picked up) after the van made several stops in Manhattan. The app worked just fine. Overall, I was pleased with the quality of the service on both trips and with the cost. read more

This was my first experience with SuperShuttle and probably the last. We were supposed to be picked up at Newark for a ride into Manhattan at 4:55pm and did not leave the airport until after 7:00pm. I called numerous times and was given a different answer each time, and the transportation information desk at the airport seemed to complicate matters. I have had a terrible experience with super shuttle. I booked online prior to my flight to laguardia and paid with my credit card. When arrived I used the courtesy phone and was told it would be 25 minutes. I called 35 minutes later and was told the driver would arrive in less than 10 minutes. 30 minutes after that I called and was told the driver had come and gone 15 minutes earlier- without having come inside and called my name! Fortunately another super shuttle driver was picking someone else up and agreed to take me. He charged me cash upon arrival, however, and two months later super shuttle still has not refunded my money. I spoke to 4 different people on the phone until one could explain what happened. read more

I arrived at Laguardia Airport on May 16th at 11:50 am, and went straight to the area where the Super Shuttle was. I had already made a reservation and prepaid, so I figured I'd get a van quickly. My reservation said I would be picked up about 12:20, but they didn't get there until 1:00pm. This was frustrating because I had to check into my hotel in Manhattan, and be somewhere at 2:00. The ride was much longer than I thought it would be, but that was because we had to drop everyone else off, and I was the last person to get dropped off. The driver tried to drop me off at a street that wasn't even where my hotel was, and I refused to get off. It was my first time in New York and I did not want to try to find the hotel on my own, especially when I paid to be dropped off in front of the hotel. The driver finally realized he was on the wrong street, and took me to the right location. We didn't end up getting there until almost 2:30 pm. He did apologize several times, so I appreciated that, although it was irritating. The reason I gave three stars instead of two was because my reservation pick up time was between 12:20 and 12:35 on May 18th, but I ended up getting picked up at 12:10, so that was nice. Also, we got to the airport at about 1:30, so I had more than enough time to get on my 4:00 flight. Overall, Super Shuttle is decent for the price you pay. It was only $35 round trip. Do make note that there is a $5 processing fee when you pay with a credit card, which is not a huge deal, but I wished I had been told about that when I specifically asked if there were any extra fees and they said no. I may use them again, but I will definitely look at other options as well. read more

Great price, decent communication, and ontime. I just used Super Shuttle for two trips to get my family to / from the NYC airports. Pickup was scheduled between 4:45am and 5:00 am. Family was ready at 4:30. Having used black cars and limos I expected them to be early, but the van showed up right at 5:00am. No complaints. Our return trip home was complicated by flight delays into JFK, but I called the main 1-800 # with updates and they adjusted the reservation accordingly. Each time they sent me an updated e-mail confirmation with the new time. When I landed and got to baggage claim, I used the "ground transport" phone with my confirm # to let them know I was there. You speak to the local dispatcher when you use this phone. A few minutes later I got a call on my cell phone from the driver saying he was right outside, and he was. Uneventful trip home. Drivers had GPS units in each of their vans. No problems with payments as other reviewers have noted. I made the reservation for an "EXCLUSIVE" van (just my family) online and paid in advance with a tip. Very pleased and will definitely use their services again. read more

They refunded the return trip due to the clusterfck. Service TO the airport was on-time and without incident.

It was horrible experience. This company was better a few years ago, but it got worse and worse. Chance of getting a bad driverI is really high now. It is a shuttle bus, so it is all depending on a driver. They don't know New York well. It takes too long to get destination.
