Needed a ride to LGA for me, my wife, and two little kids. I reached out to Chris and within the hour, we had finalized details around availability, timing, and even car seat scenarios for the kids (he was able to provide both a booster seat and a front-facing seat). We pre arranged our pickup and he was there with a beautiful, clean Chevy and a smiling face, we knew we were in good hands. He arrived early to pick us up, asked if we needed anything beforehand and had some water and snacks for my 4 year old. He was a complete gentleman, has a great personality and is very accommodating. STOP!!!! You've found the right company to drive you!!! So I'm flying into JFK and my job as leader of this group of 7 women teens/adults is to find us the safest and cheapest way to get to the hotel to and from. I asked for many quotes and even priced Uber/Lyft ... CHRIS was the only person who actually gave me a call instead of a text!!! He put me down in the books and dealer with me asking over and over throughout the weeks to confirm we were good to go! Flash forward he has our flight info and calls me as soon as he knows we landed I'm not even off the plane and he's assuring he's there and ready to go. We meet him outside and he takes care of our bags has snacks and water... now he doesn't ny go straight to hotel he drives us around to show us the city on the way. At the hotel he talks to bell boy and gets our bags without us lifting a finger. During our stay he did a quick check in via text to ask us how we're doing and if we needed any tips or anything at all. Pick up day we didn't fly out til night we left our bags at hotel and we went out for the day we got back to hotel about an hour before he was to pick us up. As we were settling in to wait my daughter noticed Chris was already out front waiting for us, we hopped in and got another tour!!! Chris was sweet attentive and is now family !!! A personal car service at a reasonable price! I am a big user of Uber, and a fan of the convenience that services like Lyft & Uber provide. For longer trips, however (airports, NYC, etc), I'm less inclined to want to spend an extended period of time with a driver who is basically a total crapshoot. And that's even MORE true when - as I often do - I'm arranging for transportation for my elderly Mom, or for one of my children. Previously in such instances, I would have to absorb the cost of a traditional Car Service. Fortunately, I discovered DLUX - which has positioned itself in-between the cost-effective option of Lyft/ Uber, and the more expensive but safer/ more reliable option of Black Car services. For my trip to the airport, my DLUX driver was Chris - who turns out to be the owner of the company. Chris picked me up in a spotless SUV. He was very respectful, and spoke only as much as I wanted him to speak (which was great, as some Cab & Car Service drivers seem to take it upon themselves to keep me "entertained & informed" for the duration of my trip - whether I like it or not lol - while other drivers have animated foreign language conversations with friends & family). As an ex-Wall Street guy, Chris is keenly aware of the importance of good Customer Service when operating in a competitive industry. He explained how he started this business with his sons, and how his Company Slogan: "Let our Family drive Your Family" perfectly captured the "Mission Statement" of DLUX. My trip from Huntington to LaGuardia - again, in a clean, comfortable & roomy SUV, tricked-out with a tv, water, etc - was shockingly reasonable. Uber is here to stay.
