This store is smaller than most I shop in, but it makes good use of its space, and their employees are very helpful. In fact, it's the first grocery store I've been to in the US where the courtesy clerk (bagger) automatically brings your groceries to your car. I don't know if they do this with everyone, but we had assistance both times we shopped here. Maybe it was because my sisters are pretty, or because we had a cartful each time, or both. The prices are low, but I deduct a star for their very limited selection of whole grain breads and pastas. TIP: get the Brookshire's Thank You card to save money. It takes about 2-5 minutes, depending on how fast you type into the kiosk. It's a nice store in a very small town.

One evening after dinner at Jalisco's nearby, I finally decided to check out this place. Prices are pretty reasonable, & they have a good selection of some bathroom, home, kitchen, & office stuff. Some of their inventory was being restocked, so getting around the aisles could be challenging. The hours aren't always convenient for everyone, & I needed a 15-minute reminder that the store was near closing. But I found plenty of things I needed at a reasonable price, with friendly staff. They missed one of their anti-theft tags on one of my packs of socks (& I didn't realize it until 3-4 days later), but I returned with the pack of socks & my receipt, & they took off the device in an understanding manner. That process took barely 2 or 3 minutes of my time. So convenient! Walmart or Brookshires may have a bigger selection of grocery & food items, but I would definitely like to shop here again, especially right before traveling.
