Hamburgers are also in the menu. There is a lot of pass-through traffic between Dallas and Houston, so the owner decided to install a lunch counter. In talking with the owner, he admitted to never having been to Fuel City in Dallas to try their tacos. Instead, he brought in a local cook to develop their own menu. The meats - carne asada, barbacoa, pollo, lengua, etc. are all fresh. They also make their own salsas - hot habenero, mild red and mild green - and keep them in a warmer. I ordered the carne asada tacos on corn tortillas (flour is also available). You can watch as the cook dips the tortillas and then fries them up on the grill. They then place a generous amount of meat, onions and cilantro on top. They are served with lime wedges. The steak was seasoned nicely, dripping juices and very tender. At $1.39 each, the tacos are a tasty steal. This place does not have table cloths, silverware or china. Be prepared to sit at a small counter with locals or grab one of the few bench-style tables.

We got the All you can eat fish plate. We were offered lemon or onions before the plates arrived. Came on foam plates with paper boats for extra helpings. Service was very friendly and helpful. But your reading for the food review. Tarter sauce was ok or great depending on the cup. Beans and coleslaw were good, fries were mighty fine, but the catfish took me back to the old fish frys of my youth. Sweet tea was spot on. While we were eating some pies were brought in and they looked amazing. When we finished we decided to get pie, but all the pieces were spoken for. Will definitely go back. Worth the trip out.

I stopped to pump gas at Micky's on my way to Dallas. I started the pump and went inside to use…read morethe restroom. I go back out to the pump and there were 34 gallons/$99.00 charged. My 4Runner holds 23 gallons. I talked to the manger about it. He looks at the surveillance video and sees someone remove the pump nozzle from my suv and begin pumping in their truck. He says this happened last week too. Same store different pump number. So I ask for help. Can you give me a credit. His response, "no because it's your fault." "You shouldn't have left the pump". "W cannot take a loss just because you left the pump to come in here." Obviously this is a known issue at this store and the manger chose not to help the customer. Do not stop here unless you are okay with management sitting around wat hung you he ripped off.

My bf &I were talked by about what we wanted and a clerk was walking by and pointed us in right direction even without us asking for help! Cashier was friendly & polite. As for the bathrooms, I think they were as clean as public restrooms could be. Of course it was 11am and day not half over but I've seen a lot of public restrooms unfortunately and this was one of the cleanest. Would I visit again? And while the other one is great and fabulous, this one is one star better. A huge selection of baked goods, coffee, decor, clothing, drinks and more. The Kissing Pig Cafe has so many food options, too! Mrs. K. has not had a kolache in years and she's now pescatarian which presents certain challenges. It would be awesome if they had some kolaches with just cheese or were sweet, so while I had one with ham and cheese and one with sausage in cheese, she was at least able to enjoy a strawberry and cream danish as well as the always awesome poppyseed kolache. It's possible that a pecan square was purchased for later consumption, too. The self-serve coffee was great and we enjoyed all of this inside at a comfortable table. And after that, more shopping. So much great stuff to choose from here and very, very clean restrooms. If you're overwhelmed by that massive baked goods counter, just ask for recommendations. They'll get you sorted for sure! But if you want brisket, look out! I've never seen a more miserly portion offered for 13 dollars. I understand that brisket is expensive now. But I still get it at various restaurants and have to say that it was a five dollar sandwich for thirteen bucks. Additionally, the sandwich maker apparently does not know what and order for "moist" brisket means. Mine proved rather dry.
