They of course have produce, eggs, jams, pickles. Most of their produce is sold by organic farmers and they do not allow GMOs. The pricing that I did see for many nostalgia type goods were too high for my liking. They did have samples for you to try peach jams and whatnot. They did give a sample of the peach ice cream. I was looking for fresh peaches to purchase, and that was not an option. The jams, though pricey for my liking, was decent. The peach ice cream didn't really have a true peach flavor to me. The Farmers Market is not large but it is loaded with local produce and other culinary items. Jan was very excited over what they had to offer, espically when she saw the purple hull peas. I'd never heard of them. She was even more excited when she found them in the fridge already hulled. We ended up purchasing tomatoes, green tomatoes, okra, peaches, purple hulled peas, butter beans and cantaloupe. We also bought a box of WhistleStop (one word) breading mix for the green tomatoes. We fixed green fried tomatoes as soon as we got home. They were excellent. The cantaloupe was excellent. The east Texas peaches were excellent. The okra, peas and beans are in the freezer.

I'll go ahead and get this out of the way: You can't actually pick peaches here, presumably due to legal. But they do have times where berries can be picked, although we didn't do that on our visit. Upon arrival, we were hungry, so we headed to the BBQ window, operated by area BBQ provider Eddie Deen. The sandwiches themselves were quite good, with a special nod to the peach pulled pork sandwich, which was outstanding. A generous portion of distinctly peach infused but not crazy sweet pulled pork was piled atop a fresh soft bun, it was a delight to eat. Unfortunately, the side dishes were very pedestrian and almost seemed like they were prepackaged or from a foodservice provider. But definitely get that sandwich. Moving into the store, there are tons of products available, including the incredible peach pickle slices that were served with the BBQ (great way to market the product), we picked up a package and have been loving them at home. But the best product we tried, hands down, was the peach soft serve, and I mean, it was fantastic. Impossibly smooth, delicious flavor, definitely on the sweet side. If anyone from Ham is listening, though, let me offer a bit of advice. You are seriously missing the boat by not offering a smaller serving of this stuff. GLP-1 and other factors are leading many to try to eat less and keep the treats to a manageable level; offering a "small" that's literally half the size of the current smallest offering, at 2/3 of the price, would help people with their portions and help you guys print money.
