First before I express my satisfaction with my experience with Pratt chimney repair I want to say…read morepratt chimney repair is the most professional firm I have ever done business with in the last 30 years. I called the morning after the recent Windstorm and the receptionist was polite and professional all business she told me someone would be over to my home to check out the damage in a few hours. Two hours later the owner Steve arrived to look over the damage he went on the roof to see firsthand the damage, he took the damage Chimney Cap with him and said he would try to get a new cap made as soon as possible and have it installed as soon as the cap was made he would try for a fast turnaround time. now this chimney is not the normal size cap it's around 40 x 48 located 40 ft off the ground. the company kept me informed on a timely basis on the progress of my repair. In about a day and a half I was notified that the owner Steve and the crew were coming over early afternoon to repair my chimney when they arrived they went right to work. While installing a new cap they discovered damage exhaust pipes inside the chimney they replace the damage pipes with new ones. The owner crawled inside the chimney and made sure the pipes were repaired and secured. They did install the Chimney Cap and Security in place they put the caps on the two exhaust pipes and then they caulked the screws and seems and they were finished the owner and the crew were professional courteous and thorough the owner Steve has a high level of Integrity. The company provides quality and responsive service I highly recommend them. Steve is the real deal, it's refreshing dealing with a business owner who stands behind his work. Thank you very much. Patrick

He took thorough pictures and notes on the issues and encouraged me to reach out to the roofers we used over the summer. I felt respected, heard, and he not only quoted me, but offered to help me navigate next steps with the roofers who need to fix said problems. Because of his professionalism and kindness, I would absolutely recommend him to others and will keep this company in mind for any other needs. If our roofers refuse to complete the job and repair said issues, we will absolutely use QF&CS. I wish I would've had them do this originally!

Charged $704 and no cleaning. I was suspicious so i called our builder who recommended another company. As the other reviews on this page note, i was told by the 2nd company there was no damage and no need for any relining. To add insult to inury they tried to tell me that "relining" isnt as good as replacing the "whole chimney" for $35,000. The 2nd company said that there was no need for any repair but if there were, a relining was about $1,600. This is fraud. And if they say we aren't listed as a customer as apparently they do, I will post the invoice and the charge. Beware.

I looked around at vendors and liked what I saw about High Rise Chimney so made an appointment with Maggie, who was wonderful. First impression was a good one as one of the owners came out himself! Matt was excellent. No pushy sales pitches, no trying to downplay anything, and frankly shocked me by saying the fireplace was fine and usable but needed some exterior work in the future (again, no pushing). We talked about making it gas only and he talked me through that as well. Best of all, he showed us now the thing even works and gave advise on using it. Fantastic! Absolutely one of the best visits ever. I will be using them for all future needs. Thanks Maggie and Matt!

Aelite is THE chimney company to have come out to your home. Nick and crew are insanely professional and clean. They took their shoes off without even asking, threw down tarps around all areas to be worked, and definitely did not take us for our money. As a matter of fact, I remember getting quoted double from another company at the same time for the same work. Nick's wife is the one who usually answers the phone and she's pretty incredible too! Talk about nice people. Why can't all companies be like these guys? Well that, I guess, would take just too much work... lol. I can't possibly recommend Aelite enough!! If you're local to their service area, definitely do not hesitate to give them a call. If you receive the same service I did and you're disappointed in any way... the problem is probably with you!! Lol.

I called Pratt Chimney and Steve came out within a couple of days to give his evaluation. We needed to have the chimney repaired, attic restoration for water damage, and drywall replacement and painting done. Steve worked us into their cramped schedule in order to prevent further damage as much as possible. Work was scheduled to start a couple of weeks after the estimate. Because heavy rain was expected before the scheduled work start date, Pratt came our and secured a tarp over the chimney areas to prevent further damage. Brad and his assistant were amazing, courteous, and hard working, completing the job with the required follow-up to allow concrete to set properly, perform water testing, et al. The thorough water test of the chimney and the flashing around it revealed further leak points which required full replacement of the flashing by a Pratt Sub-contractor. Final test showed no leaks. I was then able to schedule the other repairs that were required to complete the attic and room drywall damage abatement. One other thing, the original work was completed in June 2020 [I thought that I had entered a review at that time, but it appears that I did not :-(]. In May, 2022, We noticed water dripping in the basement from an apparent leak around a sewer vent pipe [not associated with the chimney]. I called Pratt to see whether I could get their sub-contractor who did the flashing on our chimney to repair this job. He was not available to me, so Steve sent one of his guys out [another super courteous young man], who went on the roof and caulked around the vent pipe, as well as the exposed nail heads there and around the attic vents. All I can say is that I would recommend Pratt's Chimney without hesitation!!!
