Let me first start out saying I wish I would've rented from James at Superior Self Storage the first time around, and here's why. My family and I recently relocated to NC, and we needed a total of 2 trucks over two separate trips, and without knowing I made my first mistake by choosing another trucking company for the first truck rental only because I didn't know about Superior Self Storage at this time. Long story short the truck I reserved from a competitor was not available at the location that was agreed upon, nor the time agreed upon. I lost 5 hours of my time that morning on calls with the vendor trying to locate another truck for me, and driving to a much further location for pickup. I then went and read reviews of this said company and it appears this happens more often than not. Do yourself a favor and go with Superior Self Storage to avoid this unpleasant surprise during very stressful time from happening to you. As mentioned above I needed a second truck to rent, and went with James at Superior Self Storage and rented a 15' truck with a car carrier. The truck was ready at the time and location agreed upon, and James helped load my car on the carrier, and made sure I was comfortable loading and unloading, and strapping down before I left. Next morning we started loading the 15' truck only to find out we needed a bigger truck. I'm sure this has happened to many others before me, and now feeling the pressure of time slipping away I made a call to James who was able quickly locate me a larger truck. All I had to do is swap out one truck for the other. After successfully loading the truck and car I was ready for the drive to NC the next morning. About 9 hours into my drive I had the right rear inside tire blow out on the truck. I pulled over and called James who at first wanted to make sure we were all ok, advised that I need not worry about any costs associated with the tire being fixed as this is a covered item, and then advised that I contact the 800 road side assistance number located on the contract, and that they would be able to help. I did and they were able to assist, and had me up and running again in little over an hour. All of this said I would be happy to use, and refer James and Superior Self Storage again should I ever need their services. read more

Rented another Uhaul over the weekend for yet another move. James took care of me by determining what size was the right truck (and he was dead on), locking in a convenient reservation time, and ensuring the truck I needed would be at the Uhaul closest to me. Thanks again Superior! read more

I rented a truck from this location and was overcharged almost $80 in so-called 're-fueling' fees. This would be fine, except that I have returned the truck with a full tank of gas (I also have gas stations receipts to prove it). The 'managers' would not return my calls regarding those charges and when I called I was put on hold for 20-40 minutes. I think they basically are trying to lure customers in with prices lower than competition and then they try to add as many charges as possible and see what they can get away with. If I was not in another city right now I would take them to court. BEWARE! read more

I rent two storage units for a business that I have and I love that the location is right off of the expressway & are reasonably priced. The only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars in the lighting isn't the greatest & I typically need to bring a flashlight in order to see & I'm the winter I need to frequently chisel ice off in order to get the door open as it freezes shut which can be a pain. read more

5 Stars! Best UHaul experience I ever had. James was professional, patient, friendly, and he explained all my options clearly and answered my questions completely. The truck was clean,in good condition and ready to go on rental day. He explained the charges clearly and even called me the next day because I had left 2 items in the truck. Furthermore, I needed a helper and he provided me with a guy named Dan who was a life-saver! He was reliable, was there early, and he worked the whole time, even showing me how to load the truck, plus he even vacuumed the place I moved out of.
