I had little to no expectations as I have seen these places run the whole gambit, so went with the spicey chicken sandwich and the 1/2 pound hamburger. It took about 10-12 minutes for the orders to come up and ran about $13 per meal. My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised with how tasty the food was and they both came loaded with fries. I could see myself eating here if I was a student or worked here and they offered about 5-6 different menu items to choose from which rotates weekly. Nice and convenient cafe that saves you the hassle of driving to downtown davis.

On each visit there were new pastry items. All look mummy. I wish I had taken pictures. cinnamon rolls were available each time I went. typically I don't care for cinnamon rolls because they're either too sweet, heavy cinnamon and a sweet sugar frosting. At Neverland Creations (NC) it's the complete opposite. NC's cinnamon rolls are not overly sweet, the right balance of cinnamon. The dough is light, buttery tasting and utterly delicious when warmed ( I just like warm cinnamon rolls). The cream cheese frosting is not too sweet and you can TASTE the cream cheese. They put a generous amount as well! so delicious!!! The roll is huge. Definitely a shared dessert. I purchased mine midday and couldn't wait until morning to have with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
