So, we all did. There was an extensive variety of candy and snacks from Japan and Asia, so colorful and attractive. The store was quite busy even at 3 pm on a Friday. I truly felt like a kid in a candy store, happy but a little overwhelmed. There were not just candy and sweets, I saw some traditional Chinese dried fruits, such as dried plums, which are very salty. Candied fruits called Tanghulu and some fruit-shaped ice cream are interesting. Our friend is familiar with Asian food. She happily showed me a bag of Japanese rice cake and other snacks that she was going to buy. The cashier checkout is at the end of the store, which is a bit unusual. The checkout process seemed efficient and friendly. Since I was planning to shop for baked goods, I didn't purchase anything this time. But I will definitely return and spend more time exploring the store. There is so much to see, and I'm sure there will be something appealing for everyone.

I acted as my own parent here and said: "OK, now you can buy one thing here, just ONE!" You can choose from all sorts, for instance, almonds raw, roasted, skin on or off, whole or slivers, salted or unsalted. I get raw, unsalted, skin on for my Greek Yogurt. They also usually run a special on their famous mixed nuts. I love looking at their various trail mixes, I bought three bags, two at 2.99 and one at 1.99. Can't wait to get into the one with dark chocolate, dried mango and a mix of nuts. I like to stop here before going out of town to buy some bags to throw in my carry on, the prices at the airport are insane for the same stuff. There's also a great selection of candy that can be bought in bulk, some of it is wrapped so you can buy it to put in a dish in your office, business, or hand it out on Halloween. The ladies working the store our friendly and helpful, you can try samples before you buy if you're not sure and need to compare. Really easy parking right in front of the store at the curb.
