This is a fun and expensive cotton candy experience that brought a lot of joy to my stepdaughter ... till her tummy started to ache about 15 min after starting to eat the massive banana-flavored Pikachu. It was about $30 incl tax and tip, but surely a rare experience.

First time getting from Muah cotton candy place and it was an amazing experience! We order from the kiosk and it generated a ticket with the details of our order. You can chose a flavor or mix and match. We took hello kitty design with strawberry (pink face) and watermelon bow! The candy was ready in 20 min there wasn't much wait. It was a great experience! The only drawback is i think it's a little pricey!!

I walked into busy night but Diego was kind! I didn't mind waiting because I loved seeing all the cotton candy designs. The penguin was too cute! Also seeing the cotton candy spin into puffs was kinda cool. I enjoyed my cinnamonroll cotton candy art. I hadn't been into cotton candy but this piece of art made in front of me was definitely good! It's perfect for kids or anyone who needs a reason to smile. Diego was great! He was working all the order by himself and the humidity was a problem but the cotton candy still looks like pieces of art!

Pretty amazing!! It's the lightest cotton candy I've ever come across and the designs, in the words of my wife, are "SO CUUUTE!" There is sugar EVERYWHERE! I found that it smelled good for a minute, but then wondered if I was just breathing strands of candy into my lungs. The employees seemed okay, even though they were covered as well. Every customer had a huge smile as they were handed their creation. As an experience, it gets 5 stars; because that's what it is! If you find yourself in downtown Chicago, it's pretty cool. I won't be clamoring to get back there, unless I have friends and family visiting. We had a difficult time finding it. The mall doesn't have any signs indicating where it is, but it is upstairs; level 7.

Inside the mall. Very pretty looking cotton candy molds. Pretty expensive. Runs about $20!!!! Service is friendly.

It's a really cool place. Watching the cotton candy artist turn sugar into characters is fun to watch. The cotton candy is flavored and yummy and the price I'm my opinion reasonable for what you get

Really cute little shop at the Water Tower. It's quite the show watching the employees twist and build cotton candy art. It's pricey but so amazing and my daughter LOVED the experience. The cotton candy is so fresh and tasty, like a sweet cloud that melts in your mouth.

If you want to try something fun, go visit Muah in the Hancock Tower! It's not just cotton candy, but cotton candy shaped like your favorite characters from Pokemon. The line was very long - it takes time to make one of these things by hand. There were lots of fidgety kids tired of waiting, but there were plenty of seats in the mall area just outside. And if you're really in a hurry, you can get a smaller cotton candy from one of their vending machines. But those are nothing compared to the handmade creations made behind the counter. When our number was called, everyone gawked at our creation - it's like a work of art. The thing was HUGE, but after taking few photos, we dug in and it was gone by the time we crossed Michigan Avenue! Fun and definitely worth it - give Muah a visit, especially if you have kids!

Stopped by on a Sunday evening to check out this new establishment. Located in Water Tower on the 7th floor. Workers were friendly. Space was clean. In addition to the hands-on staff they have two cotton candy machines that make select cotton candy selection.

We were walking through the mall, and the crowd of smiling kids with bags of cotton candy shaped like characters caught our attention. As someone who definitely loves cotton candy, this was a must stop. We got in line, and once we got to the automated kiosks, we scrolled through the options to place our order. There are several different options of flavors and characters at different price points. There are also two automated cotton candy machines that you can place your order at, and the machine will make your order instead of having to wait for someone to manually assemble your character. Once we selected our characters, we walked over near the glass counter so that we could see the cotton candy building in action. It was really cool to see the workers spin the cotton candy from flavored sugars, and then build the characters using ice cream cones, mini Oreos, cookie cutters and other props to really bring to life the creations. The cotton candy's were a bit pricey, but they were also really large and definitely shareable. We ended up getting ours in a togo bag, which they carefully wrap with enough space around the figure so that bumping into something accidentally won't damage your cotton candy. If you're looking for a cool place to take kids or are a big kid yourself, this is an awesome spot to check out.

Love this place! I saw Muah Cotton Candy featured on the Chicago Bucket List Instagram page so I decided to stop by while in town. I visited on a Friday afternoon. I had heard that the wait times were pretty long, but lucked up and was the only customer at the time I placed my order. By the time my order was being finished, the store was much more packed. Loved the cotton candy! Given the holiday season, I chose Frosty. The flavors for Frosty are vanilla (the head and body) and watermelon (the accessories). The buttons and eyes were Oreo cookies (a nice surprise that I wasn't expecting). Admittedly, I was expecting lackluster cotton candy. I was wrong. The cotton candy is sooo good. It was incredibly fresh and fully melted in your mouth. Truly the best cotton candy I have ever had. Definitely recommend this spot as a fun outing with family or friends.

Worth the hike. On the 7th Floor at Water Tower Place, these creations are a hit every time. You'll spend your entire allowance so save up but well worth the sugar rush.

Employee is showing us the "shape" in the cotton candy we got for $10!

Review for store hours. Business info states the store is open until 7. But it's not. Kids were super disappointed. Had we known we would have gotten there earlier. We got a machine Cotton candy for 10 dollars.

It felt nice to find a colorful and lively place while everything else around was quiet. The store had a cheerful holiday vibe with bright lights and shelves full of candies, chocolates, and fun treats. There were some really good deals going on, with many items on 50% and even 75% discount, which made it a great time to shop. You could find a mix of classic candies, chocolates, and fun novelty items at reasonable prices. Even though it was Christmas, the store was not very busy, so it was easy to walk around, browse comfortably, and take your time choosing items. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Overall, It'Sugar on Michigan Avenue was a nice surprise on Christmas Day -- colorful, cheerful, and perfect for picking up sweet treats or small gifts while enjoying the holiday mood.

The store manager told me he couldn't offer either and said it would require approval from a general manager. What frustrated me most wasn't being denied a refund, it was the lack of effort to help find a solution. No exchange, no store credit, and no attempt to escalate the issue. I left feeling like my concerns weren't taken seriously as a customer. I understand stores have policies regarding food items, but better customer service and a willingness to address product concerns would have gone a long way.

The ice cream itself was delicious. As a chocolate lover, it definitely hit the spot, rich, creamy, and full of chocolate flavor. The only thing that caught me off guard was the price. I ordered a regular cup, and it came out to over $12. I can understand paying that much for a loaded sundae with lots of toppings, but over $12 for a simple scoop of ice cream felt a bit steep.
