Long-time customer here (multiple vehicle purchases + years of service), but I'm done with this dealership in particular and Jeff Wyler in general. After my 2025 Honda CR-V was totaled, it was towed to the dealership while my insurance arranged pickup within 24-48 hours. I clearly communicated this to the service manager, and there were no initial concerns. Due to a simple mix-up, the tow company went to the wrong location--and instead of contacting me to resolve it, I was given less than 45 minutes' notice before my vehicle was declared abandoned and towed to an impound lot. I was out of town at the time and couldn't address it right away, which led to additional fees. This situation could have easily been handled with basic communication and a reasonable amount of time. As a result, I incurred unnecessary towing and impound charges--and the dealership lost my future business, including what would have been a replacement vehicle purchase. As a dealership, how stupid do you have to be to piss off a customer who clearly needs to purchase a replacement Honda CRV! We recently purchased a Crtified Pre-owned Honda from this dealership. While we are ultimately happy with the vehicle itself--Honda makes a great product--our experience with the sales team and the dealership's integrity left a lot to be desired. During negotiations, we agreed on a price with the contingency that key aspects of the car be restored to 'like new' condition. There was rear passenger side damage from a garage rub, that they agreed likely happened while the car was at the dealership, as well as two gashes and a previously repaired chip in the windshield. When we expressed hesitation about the damage, the salesman dismissively told us, "We'll sell anything," making it clear our business didn't matter. He also attempted to guilt-trip us over the repairs, claiming it would cost them $400 to $500 just to replace the one damaged tire. The salesman called us two days early to tell us the car was ready. My wife and I spent over an hour driving through rush hour traffic to pick it up, only to find the work was incomplete. While the white paint transfer was removed, the scratches were still clearly visible. Furthermore, they refused to address the windshield, arguing it was 'structurally sound'--missing the point that the existing gashes and chip are a liability that will require a full replacement shortly after taking the car home. When we pointed out the unfinished work, the whole situation felt calculated. As if they knew it wouldn't be worth our time to debate the issues, leave empty-handed, and wait another week for them to potentially do the work. Rather than continue arguing with someone who didn't care, we decided to cut our losses and take the vehicle. The most unprofessional moment came right before we left. After showing my wife the car's features, the salesman asked if she was happy. When she politely said yes, he replied, 'Good! I was afraid I was going to hear more of Chris's mouth.' I tried to call but then realized a coupon wouldn't be worth the time and it would be much more valuable here. The man who is servicing my daughter's 2024 Honda Civic today for an oil change - which we made an appointment for and she was 15 mins early because that is how she was raised; left her sitting for an hour and a half, and b/c she wanted to give the team time, she did not interrupt when it was getting to be later than expected. When the service tech arrived back at the front desk she asked how much longer and he let her know it would be another half hour and turned around and walked away from her with no other words. Let me tell you all, I am staying inside my house where the Lord can keep me safe - b/c if I go against the judgment of God and go there, the skies may darken and it is very sunny out right now - I'd hate to ruin it for us all. Let me also say, she is a young, minor, white girl in a black neighborhood and at a Jeff Wyler location that is well known to have its own issues ... I am not too naive nor do I have the care to protect the truth - her father made the appt - I would have chosen differently. But I know that man does not give 3 crooked cares about my daughter - and the fact he is labeled a service technician - he does not have the integrity in his heart to live up to that title. Today I spent 4 hours of my life that I will never get back at Jeff Wyler Superior Honda in Cincinnati, Ohio. They salesperson was the only pleasant part of my encounter. I specifically went to inquire about a Honda Certified Vehicle that I saw on Cars.com. I've bought certified used from both Honda and Acura, so I thought I knew what to expect. Nothing could have prepared me for the experience I encountered at this dealership. I test drove the vehicle, which was dirty inside, you could see the dirt on the seats, in between and embedded in the seats. The inside storage in bed of the vehicle was very dirty. After the test drive, I walked around the vehicle. Passenger side fender was partially attached; driver side fender appeared to have been repaired (poorly). Driver side wheel was damaged. I pointed all this out to the salesperson showing me the vehicle, he assured me these things would be taken care of if I decided to get the vehicle. Next I met with the 'manager' who is the person that negotiates the price you pay for the vehicle. First red flag, the price on cars.com did not include the certification. The certification would cost me $5500 more than the advertised price. I tried to point this out to the manager, but he would over talk me (you get that a lot as a female buyer). Long story short I was ready to take my trade and drive 2 hours back home. Two hours later we were able to make a deal and I purchased the 'Honda Certified Vehicle" I wish I could say the encounter improved, but it did not. I was told the items I pointed out would be fixed and that I would get copies of the Carfax, maintenance records and certification. I went outside to transfer my items from my trade to the new vehicle. It was during this process I noticed the items identified had not been addressed. Passenger side molding, right driver panel and driver side wheel were just as they were when I test drove the vehicle. The vehicle still showed signs of a visible spill between the seats and headrest were still dirty, storage area in the back had not been touched. I brought this to the salesperson attention as well as the fact the vehicle had less than ¼ of a tank of gas. He took the vehicle back and the items I pointed out were cleaned somewhat. I ended up telling the salesperson I would have the car detailed when I got home. He did add a half tank of gas so I could drive back home. The salesperson said the other items could not be fixed because the shop technicians had all gone, but I could take the care to any Honda dealership, and they would fix since the vehicle was Honda Certified. That is yet to be seen. Before I left, I asked the salesperson to show me how to pair my phone so I could use GPS to get home. He was very helpful with this. However, I have never bought a vehicle where they did not set you up with a Car Genius or someone to go over how the vehicle works or just the basic operation of the vehicle. It is like I was just supposed to be satisfied I purchased the vehicle. On the way home I noticed the windshield wipers were not in good condition, the low battery indicator came on for the key fob. All this makes me wonder what was really done to certify the vehicle or was it just something they said they did. Once I got home, I decided to look at maintenance records and vehicle certification documents. To my surprise there was nothing in the folder like that, only paper work showing the vehicle purchase and titling information. The finance guy did include a copy of the Carfax since I had mentioned I waiting for the salesperson to give me a copy. Once I discovered I had none of this paperwork, I called the salesperson who seemed surprised I did not receive any documents pertaining to the certification or prior maintenance of the vehicle. The salesperson did offer to buy me a key fob battery, which I told him was not the point. The point was the vehicle was supposed to be certified and I was starting to doubt that happened. The salesperson said they would get back to me on Monday (2/2/2026). Hopefully, that is the case. What should have been a celebratory event ended up being frustrating, stressful and I am left feeling like I was taken advantage of during the process. No matter how good the advertised price was for this Honda Certified vehicle, I would not have driven 2 hours to this dealership if I had read some of the reviews beforehand. If you are considering buying a vehicle from Jeff Wyler Superior Honda beware. They spout off a lot of things until they get your signature and check. I am hopeful someone will get with me on Monday to resolve my concerns. read more

Sure, they will say "the car you are looking at is rare". No, it really isn't when you have several and other dealers in the area are selling at MSRP. After over two hours of trying to get a price the "sales coach" reaches out and tells me to buy at the other dealership...the honest one, selling at MSRP. I've been a sales coach and rule #1 of being a sales coach is do not alienate your potential customers. Big fail, as typical for Wyler...because Wyler is synonymous with greed in the Cincinnati area. They have marked the car up well above MSRP and lure customers in with the cars advertised at MSRP and pull the bait and switch. Not good customer service, deceptive and misleading. read more

This is one of the few times I wish I could give 0 stars. Hands down one of the worst businesses I've ever come across. I requested an instant cash offer from KBB to sell my car and this dealership proceeded to call, text, email and leave voicemails until I responded to them. They told me they thought the KBB offer was too low and said they would pay almost $1500 above it. When I went in to see them they spent an hour and a half sweet talking me, having me sign paperwork, telling me they couldn't write me a check today, and telling me how much they value their customers. After all of this they told me they could only give me HALF of the KBB amount. This was for a car that they made comments about how clean it was inside and out and that matched the condition outlined on the KBB offer. I took it to CarMax later that day and within 30 minutes walked out with a check for the exact amount they quoted me for online. Don't waste your time with these dishonest scumbags. read more

My trunk was leaking. They brought in a 3rd party to fix the leak and I had to replace the wiring harness. Within a week of getting the car back, it was leaking again. The wiring harness was again destroyed because of the water. The 3rd party that Honda brought in fixed the leak again- NO charge- and are expecting us to pay for another harness. Honda is taking no responsibility for the third-party contractor they brought in. We have had NO communication with this third-party. Very poor communication about getting plates and registration, ( frankly I was lied to multiple times ) sales manager is a classic example of why people hate car dealerships, I mean classic... agreed on a price I came in then was presented a piece of paper with an additional $5400 that were dealer add on's.. that were not spoke about and I didn't agree too.. He was rude and acted like I was the rude one when I told him I didn't appreciate this and was fine walking, got that sorted out after he huffed and puffed a bit. Then was mislead on financing, they only offer Honda corporate financing if you pay sticker ( must be Wyler back end deals with banks ) ... then they tried to sell me an extended warranty for 7k that I bought from another dealer for $1360 the very next day.. It's a shame there are places and people like this.. To tell you the truth I only buy and drive Fords. However my mother in laws CRV needed an air bag recall done so I scheduled a service appointment on line at Superior Honda. I was able to get it a appointment for the next day. While it was being serviced, I requested they look into another minor issue. I was expecting to pay a fee for the extra maintenance item. They were trustworthy and said they just cleaned the area and retightened the bolt. No charge. As promised the car was ready for pick up by the time I got off work. Service staff was very friendly and communication was on point. I would recommend serving your Honda here based on my experience. read more

What is it with this place? Believe me, you can trust all the negative reviews. We bought a 2022 HR-V from them. They originally sent us a title with the incorrect VIN number, and it took four months for them to get it straightened out. Of course this means that during that time we couldn't get the car registered in our name. After the first 90 days they gave us a dealer tag to drive around with (which, according to the BMV, was illegal). If they didn't have the title, or couldn't get the title, that means they sold us a car that wasn't theirs to sell, which is also illegal. We left messages, they'd promise to call back, and of course they didn't. It was like pulling teeth. Once we did get the title the BMV charged us $45 in penalties because of how long it took to register the car. I emailed Don Petro in the finance department (he's the guy who we dealt with on this) on November 23 about getting reimbursed...here it is December 12 and I've never received a reply. Also, the car's manual is M.I.A. We called multiple times about it and all we got was the run around. We finally just gave up. Ridiculous. It's unbelievable that we have to jump through hoops just to get a title and manual! This is the last time they'll get our business....but it's pretty apparent that they couldn't care less. I would have given them zero star if I could. I made a mistake of not reading all the other reviews about this dealership before dealing with them. They are all very true! This place tries to rip you off by charging you way over MSRP for new cars. And the salesman will tell you to your face that they are ripping you off because they can due to the shortage everywhere. You can imagine the disappointment when we drove 2+ hours there to get a new car, only to find out that we were lied to over the phone about the cost and were charged $9,000 more than MSRP. There were forced add-on's and "government fees" which is $6,000+. After we confronted the salesman about the additional charges, he became very rude. And he arrogantly claimed that since they have the car we want in stock now, and nobody else does, they can charge whatever. Even if you are desperate to get a car, don't go there. My engine seized up on me while driving. Had it towed here, had to wait from early May til beginning of July just to find out that my motor seized and it was under a class action lawsuit recall, they replaced the engine but due to the engine my starter went bad, they refused to replace it free, wanted to charge $470 to install, when I finally told them to go ahead they jacked the price to $824 because it was no longer in the garage. do not trust the service department. brought car in for a sunroof that was stuck partially open they quoted a very high price which my wife agreed to. she then called back 15 mins later and told them we did not want the repair just close the sunroof. they charged us $400 including a $85 "restocking fee" for the parts they say they had to cancel for the repair which was criminal to begin with. We get the car home and 6 hrs later every warning sensor in the car goes off we bring it back and they tell us that was just a coincidence and we will need more overpriced service. read more

I had to take a vacation day because of a Honda recall and burned my entire morning sitting in that waiting room. Then I walked out after noon in tears, because I missed another appointment that I'd been waiting months for and I still don't even know if my car is fixed! Here are the 6 things my experience taught me about Superior Honda on Spring Grove Ave. (1) They don't call back. After receiving recall notices in the mail, I called this Honda Superior to schedule an appointment. It rang and rang and rang each time I called. I left a voicemail, but no one called back. A week later, I called the national Honda number. (2) They abandon you before you even walk in the door. I pulled up to the service door for my appointment, and a man opened the garage door ... but then disappeared. How far do I pull in? Do I leave my keys in the car? Do I get out of the car? Do I go inside? I finally got out and went inside, then had to wander until I could find an employee to help. (3) They won't give you an estimate for how long this will take. When I arrived for my appointment, the large waiting area was so packed that I couldn't even find a place to sit. One by one, I watched every person walk out the door. So, after 90 minutes, I walked to the front and asked: "Is it possible to get a gauge of how much longer it will be?" His response? "Your car is in the shop." Not much help, right? (4) The staff may seem nice enough on the phone, but they mock you when they hang up. I heard it more than once. It was uncomfortable, and at least two staff members clearly forgot their commentary and laughter were within earshot of customers. We were seated less than 10 feet from the staff. (5) After all that, I still don't know what they even DID to my car. The "service advisor" -- I think that's who he was anyway; he didn't introduce himself -- didn't walk me through my paperwork. He just handed me forms to sign. The paperwork mentions that a "part had to be special ordered" because it wasn't available locally. So now what? Does someone call me? Do I have to go back? How long will that take? No one said. I was told my car took longer than anyone else's because I asked for an estimate on a repair. The service advisor didn't even mention that estimate when I left. (6) They don't clean up after themselves. As another reviewer here mentioned, these guys leave your car dirtier than when you handed it over. That violates rule No. 1 of anyone doing a repair job in your home, vehicle or property. read more

We called before heading there and spoke with Shawn Casey to confirm that the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan LX was available to purchase. We test drove the car and it handled and rode well. We sat down to close the deal. The selling price of the car was $23,365. We planned on a down payment of $4000. After Shawn crunched the numbers with the manager, we were told that the payments for a 72 month loan would be $494-$514. We were shocked. We were told that there was a +$6000 market adjustment because of the complications/availability of cars due to Covid. The manager told us that other dealerships were charging a $10,000 market adjustment, but that they were only charging $6000. We called Kings Honda where we had put a $500 deposit on a Honda Civic Sedan Sport that would be arriving in late July. We really preferred the Honda LX, but Kings did not have any available. We asked them if they were charging a market adjustment cost. They were not. Question everything Jeff Wyler tells you. read more

I brought our Honda Odyssey in for recall work. I figured I would get my complimentary oil change/tire rotation at the same time. When I checked in, the service dept. said it was only complimentary if my "oil life" was at 15% or less (mine was at 40%). This policy makes no sense. I should be able to get my oil change whenever I choose. I did decide to have the oil change and tire rotation done (est. cost $112) so I don't waste another day in the future. However, after this work is completed, I will not be bringing my car back for service and I certainly will not buy my next car there. read more

Literally the worst. When I arrived and mentioned my car issues she literally rolled her eyes at me and sighed loudly like she was the one going to have to look at my car. Then she was like well you have to leave it here; this kind of thing takes a long time. Like how am I supposed to know that? They are rude and have no interest in giving you accurate information up front. They've also literally hidden charges, been nicer to white customers and don't keep you updated. I saw white person after white person come in and being greeted politely; not so much for me. I asked for the shuttle to take me home bc they didn't tell me I'd need to leave my car and they said they had no idea when the shuttle was leaving and told me if I didn't want to wait to call a friend. I asked why they couldn't contact the driver and get an estimate-apparently cellphone technology doesn't work. And when I asked when I could pick up my car and what to do if it was ready after hours, she said that she didn't care when I picked it up. After an hour I asked a friend to pick me up. On my way out I spoke to another receptionist who told me that she had misinformed it and he could tell me exactly when the shuttle would leave. He apologized for her bad behavior. My car is still with them so god knows whether she'll let me know anything. I'm sure the technicians are fine but Molly at the service desk is truly awful. Ridiculous. read more

The service team simply DO NOT CARE and it shows from their actions and their attitude. Purchasing my new CR-V from Superior Honda of Cincinnati was a BIG mistake. The vehicle's telephone connectivity has never worked properly from day one. The phone disconnects intermittently, sometimes working for over and hour, at other times it disconnects every few minutes. Since I navigate via my phone, this causes frequent distractions and is a safety issue. I have tried three different phones, including two new phones as well as 17 different cords. I have tried to obtain warranty service for this, even having left the car with them for a few days at a time. Despite being told over and over that the problem is intermittent, they only test it for about ten minutes before claiming all is fine or that the cord is the problem. They keep the car but basically do NOTHING. This amounts to a refusal to honor the warranty. Stay away from this place. read more

As a hospital worker, I knew when I moved to Cincinnati that leasing a car may be the best option since hours are unpredictable and car trouble can pop up at the most inconvenient times. Three years later and Superior Honda has never disappointed. They are reliable, receptive, and I love my car. I've extended my lease and definitely will stay with Superior Honda as long as I'm in Cincinnati. This week, when we needed assistance fast, Superior Honda stood by us and went above and beyond to rectify an issue with the BMV/Police Dept. Due to a clerical error where my license plate number was mistakingly placed with a warrant for arrest, cops pulled us over at gun point. When they realized the license plate mixup, they recommended reaching out to the Police Dept that had filed the claim on a gentleman we'd never heard of. After having the run around, and still needing to drive my car (with license plate that has arrest warrant out) to get to/from the hospital, we reached out to Superior Honda for suggestions and they completely resolved the issue. Would give zero stars if I could. Bought a 2020 Civic from this place, during the accessories install from the purchase they broke an interior panel. Took them more than a month to get the replacement part. Took the car in for them to replace the panel they broke, which not only took all day, but now there is over a 2 inch gap from a piss poor install job, AND the door jamb of my brand new car was scratched to hell and back in the process. Do not go to this dealer for anything, they literally did more damage than good to my car. When I told them about the scratches I was treated like I was making it up, and they were there prior (mind you this is a 2020 car, with 3k miles on it, and I have only had it long enough to to wash it a few times. Being new to the area, I took my son's car to the the dealership for an alternator replacement because I thought I could trust Honda. Superior ran a diagnostics test on the vehicle and confirmed the alternator was bad. They quoted $1,435 before tax to replace an alternator. I spoke with the gentleman there who stated the OEM part was over $700 + 30% mark-up for stocking an alternator and 3.5 labor hours. I told him I would come get the car and replace the unit myself. He told me the diagnostic fee was $159, to tell me what I already knew about the car. Upon arriving at the dealership we were treated coldly and presented with a bill for $199. When I asked about the difference, I was informed that the diagnostic fee didn't include a shop visit fee or taxes. One thing for sure is that I will NEVER go to Superior Honda for any reason (sales or service). I can understand why they have so many poor reviews. Their prices are outrageous and their customer service needs improvement. read more
