When I asked the female if it was possible to get my cert printed earlier, a taller male employee butted in and aggressively told me I had to wait like the other customers, that they had large jobs ahead of me... noting nothing was running, no jobs were being printed while I stood there. I drove over to Staples Seal Beach and met "OWEN". This young man "Owen" was working by himself, running three jobs at the same time, packaging, taking orders and helping people with printing questions. Owen was literally running between the printers, hustling to keep jobs going. He paused and quickly asked me what I needed, advising that the store was closing in 30 min. I told him I needed a quick print of certificates. OWEN jumped on it right away. telling me it should be picked up tomorrow but he would fit it in between jobs "right now". Owen packaged up the job he was working on on the printer and set my cardstock in, then completed my job perfectly. On the way out, I stopped to tell the female mgr of my experience. She simply stated, "yes, he has definitely made quite a few people happy tonight..." 3 confused employees doing "nothing" but making excuses why they can't get the work done, versus, one "OWEN" doing the job of 3 people, making no excuses whatsoever, and killing it! When the pain kept getting worse, I finally inspected the chair more closely and saw the gas cylinder didn't look like what should be on a genuine Knoll product. The gas cylinder clearly has a made by KGS Co., Ltd. marking on it. So I called the store to confirm whether the chair I bought was actually authentic and not Frankenstein'd, the sales person who sold me the chair, answered the phone and Instead of actually addressing my concerns, he acted like I was imagining things and insisted that it's a Knoll chair because it says so on the back. He then proceeded by saying that they don't take returns on used items as they're sold as-is, but will check with his manager. He called me a few minutes later stating that they would make an exception for me and take it back for a store credit only with a 20% restocking fee. In other words, they won't stand behind what they sold, but they will charge me to hand it back to them. I asked for the manager to call me, and - a shocker - no one ever did. Zero follow-up. Zero accountability. If you care about product, authenticity, being taken seriously as a customer, are getting basic professionalism, look somewhere else. This was a complete waste of time and money.

Stacey (The Employee) handling that department on the other hand was very rude and unhelpful. She told us we couldn't get a refund for a paper that printed without anything on it completely blank when my wife needed help she simply shrugged her off . I'm glad we were able to be assisted by the manager. Ashley came and saved the day! She did an exchange and help us out easy. Hopefully they are able to have a talk to they're employees about manners and customer service so we don't always have to come in and ask for a manager because we hope everyone is valued enough to be helped out as customers when they need help .

I was informed, quite confidently I might add, by a gentleman behind the counter that my order would be ready at precisely 3:30 PM. "No need to pay for rush service," he said. Splendid, I thought--efficiency without financial penalty. A rare and beautiful thing. Imagine my surprise when reality failed to align with this verbal contract. Upon returning, I spoke to the very same man, who--rather impressively--appeared to have undergone a complete memory wipe. He denied ever making such claims. Not even a hint of recognition. It was only after I painstakingly recited the conversation nearly verbatim (thank you, brain, for retaining useless yet critical data) that he began to... recalibrate his story. At this point, one must ask: is this a print shop, or an experimental facility testing the limits of customer patience and human honesty? Customer service, I've heard, involves consistency, accountability, and not rewriting history when convenient. If this gentleman is going to engage in what can only be described as conversational improvisation, perhaps customers should be issued transcripts upon entry. In conclusion: misleading information, reluctant acknowledgment, and a performance that could rival amateur theatre. Would not recommend--unless you enjoy a bit of light gaslighting with your printing services.
