We were scheduled to start a 16 day long trip on a Saturday. The preceding Thursday evening my wife was driving on a local country road and had an 'encounter' with a deer. We contacted our insurance company, USAA, that evening and made arrangements so that Superior Auto could do the repair work; they have done work for us on previous occasions - and always expertly accomplished. The next day, Friday, we brought the car to them, completed the paperwork and departed on our trip the next day. Superior kept us informed of the repair progress, via emails and phone calls, almost on a daily basis. The day after we returned from our trip, we picked up the car, together with the paperwork. Superior Auto did a SUPERIOR JOB!. Everything was accomplished seamlessly - including the interface with USAA. A detailed listing of the parts and labor, that was completed, was provided. The vehicle had been 'detailed' and the repairs appeared as good as a new car. Thank you, Tom Vicino and 'crew'! GMGF read more

I was trying to decide if I should repair my car because the front end didn't seem right or if it was time for a new car. I brought it to Superior and asked them to do a full diagnostics from top to bottom and tell me everything that it needed & how much. When I got their his itemed list, he said, I can do the work, but if it was me, you are probably better off not putting any more money into this car. I appreciated the honest assessment, because he could have nickel and dimed me for repairing each item, but chose to pass up work and I am happy that he did, and have not forgotten this. They also took photos of the inside of all the areas. Don't know if they do that for everyone, but it was helpful seeing the problems in person. Will be back when my "new" car warranty is up and I need regular services. read more

New to the area. Need to establish those relationships. I'm a car guy. Been around them since I was five. Search the online and asked for 3 quotes. Tom got back to me right away and had the best quote. One of his competitors [whose business is closer to me never responded. The other one took 3 days. You can tell who does a good job by "first impressions." They did exactly what they said they were going to do, the price was right, and they did it in a timely manner. What more could you ask for? I'm pretty sure I found my new mechanic :) I highly recommend Tom in his crew over there at superior auto in Westbrook. Thank you Tom! Much appreciated! read more

Tom and the team at Superior Auto did a great job with a family members vehicle so I decided to go here after I got rear ended. He fought for getting me what I needed for the car, they did a great job and even cleaned up the car a bit (pretty sure they even waxed it!) and went the extra mile by touching up a couple of additional scratches. Definitely recommend them for a job well done and great service overall. read more
