Subtle work suggestions printed on reverse of invoice listed according to severity or need to replace without any pressure. -Dealer, who always serviced my Acura TLX always gave a verbal estimate of what needed to be done next delivered with a print out of red stop signs. This was delivered in an ominous tone & they were unwilling to prioritize all of the work needing to be done. "You might as well do it while you're here...we're pretty booked because of (choose any reason)" Lots of doom & gloom. Jerrell was kind enough to help me that same day a few hours later with no questions asked. I had never stepped foot in their establishment prior. He put my car on the lift to look for a device, he was not able to find anything but told me to come back anytime if I had any additional information. This type of kindness really went a long way for me. I won't hesitate to bring my car there for service because of the way he went out of his way for me and didn't have to. He didn't charge me a dime! I highly recommend Palumbo's if you are looking for a business that genuinely cares. Can't say enough great things about them!

The gentleman on the phone was very nice, polite, and didn't rush me off the phone. Since our phone conversation went well the next day I brought my vehicle to get tested for emissions. In my past experiences with places that test for emissions usually have certain hours and waiting times and if their employees are working on other vehicles I would have to wait or make an appointment. With D & R as soon as I arrived they took my vehicle in right away and I was out within ten minutes from start to finish. I also noticed there was a vehicle in the bay on the lift and I was still shown priority which is refreshing. I also asked about prices on breaks and I was quoted a reasonable price cheaper than other automotive businesses. I will be bringing my vehicle back to them. I believe they work on small jobs based on the size of the shop. They are very reasonable and treat you with respect. I may have only used them for emissions at this point and I will be returning for other jobs when needed. If you want someone who won't rip you off please call them for a quote or take a ride down and meet the owner. You won't be sorry. Janice Merrigan Clinton, CT.

Long story short and after reading all the 5-star reviews on YELP! I went in and spoke to "Mack", one of the 2 owners about my pride and joy. That was about a year ago, and I have to say, that this shop is one of [if not] the very best all around mechanical repair shop i have ever had the pleasure of doing business with in the 65+ years I've been driving every sort of automobile you can imagine. Mack and his brother Mike, and their crew have fulfilled my every need and are just the best in every sense of the word when it comes to everything automotive . . . I DO NOT EXAGERATE ! ! ! And, as a matter of fact, They also operate a totally legitimate used car business across the street from the repair shop, catering to the general public and their own clientele. There is not enough room on this YELP page to even begin to describe what these people can and will do to effect any repair you need, or find the automobile of your dreams. They conduct their business, and themselves by what I call the "3-R"s . . . Reliable, Responsible, and Reasonable!!! P.S. My wife is on Social Security card in 2009 with 210,000 miles on it. The guy was very nice. She said no problem. The girls were very nice and they always are but for the two things that they did to the car they charge me $179 just to look at it but I had to work down there and this is what really bothers me they charged me $700 for parts. My son-in-law and my son both work on cars. My son told me that they definitely overcharged us. He called on the place and we were overcharge at least $400 plus we had to work down there. The total bill was $1398 but they told me 1380+ $20 for emissions but we already paid for admissions twice in the last three weeks so I don't know what was going on. but the thing that really bothers me is, I thought they were gonna take care of me $1400 for what they did. It just bothered me big time especially when I had to use $1000 that I had to pay my mortgage and now I'm a month behind whatever . But the $179 to look at it when first of all, they never told me they're gonna charge me to look at it and then we had to work done there. I don't know I'm disappointed I think they're nice people, but I just feel like I got way overcharged especially when we just don't have the money like I said the girls there are very nice and then you say 1380 and it's 1400+ $20 every little bit counts to us I work 12 hours a day seven days a week because my wife and son are sick but anyway it really hurt me to fill this out because I like them

My wife's car, 2006 VW Jetta TDI was having an issue with the car going into limp mode at random times especially on the highways. It was beyond frustrating because the check engine light would go on with a generic code which made it hard to pin-point the exact cause of the issue. Tom took my car in and drove it for couple of days to troubleshoot the problem, and he did find the problem. It was a broken waste gate actuator that'd fail to open intermittently especially when the engine was under heavy load. After replacing the actuator the problem went away.. thanks to Tom. Here's the deal, I took the car to several mechanics prior to Euro Specialists, and none of them could figure out the problem. They all charged me diagnostic fees along with other things that they thought was causing the limp mode. Thanks European Specialists, I'll be sure to bring all my cars here for repairs and services.
