This was my first time in a bike shop, and what great customer service! I needed to get my kid's bike fixed, and they told me over the phone that I could just walk-in and they would take care of it since it was an easy fix. Someone fixed it right away, and he also pumped up both tires since they were a little flat. (I didn't even know!) They wouldn't charge me for any labor so I only paid for a small part that I needed. I bought a bike late last year at another Pleasanton bike shop (Mike's). After about 15 hours of riding, my $400 value Reverb dropper seat broke (about 5 months). Mike's Bikes told me it isn't covered under warranty, and sold me a new $300 dropper seat. While Tim was servicing my son's bike, I asked him about it. He said Rockshox should replace it, and offered to contact them on my behalf and do the work to get it replaced. I appreciated the offer, but felt Mike's Bike made the money on my bike purchase, and should do the legwork. So I went back there with this info in hand, and insisted they contact Rockshox. After several months of (bad) service from Mike's (never contacting Rockshox, said it was denied.... "show me the correspondence or give me the name and number".... but couldn't, and then saying they were re-submitting the request, losing my dropper post, finding it, and then actually submitting the request), I received a brand new replacement last week. Now I have a brand new dropper seat sitting in a retail box. I know if I was dealing with Tim, my bike would have been out of commission for less than 2 weeks and he probably would have loaned me a fixed seat post so I could ride! Thanks again Tim for the excellent advice. It's great to finally have an A+ bike shop in town. I will try to sent folks your way. I recently bought a used bike and I took it to the shop because I thought I needed a tuneup and I wanted some new pedals. The person that helped me said they were super busy and it would be about a one-week turnaround for me to get back my bike but since the hottest there he could take a look at it really quick and put it on the rack. After looking at it yeah she said that I did not need it tonight since it was in great condition and he also put on my peddles in about five minutes. Great service and honestly when he could of easily charged me for a service I didn't need. I will be bringing my bike here when I do need anything else thanks for the help. read more

I first reached out for quotes for tube replacement and this place had the most reasonable price! When I stopped by, they took care of me right away staying true to their price. Not to mention they fixed it in 20 minutes! Amazing! :) also Bob was really great and told me I could take it back in if there were any problems with it- which come to find out this week he was right...there may be a hole on the inside rim, so the tube is flat again now unfortunately :( I will take him up on this offer and bring it in sometime next week in hopes that he'll remember! Have only been here once but had an issue with my bike tire being over-inflated which somehow through off the bike chain. I forget the gentleman's name who helped me but he quickly realized what the issue was and fixed it immediately. Would not take any money for the quick fix. At the time I was stressed and thought something was seriously wrong so this was the best possible outcome. Will definitely return and give this establishment when I have the need. I got my Intense bike in Dec, Ryan was very helpful. I asked for tubeless conversion and swapped out tire to my other bike. This shop by far had the most reasonable price for bike and service. After coming in here for a bike repair diagnostic, I have come to the conclusion that out of all the bike repair shops I've been to, this one in particular has one of the worst customer services. I came in with my bike knowing that there was something wrong with high hopes of getting a detailed diagnosis of the central problem of my bike, however I was truly mistaken. These workers make it hard to even get a good explanation without them hinting at me paying them to check my bike out. And worst of all, they were willing to charge me for simply taking off a tire so I could show them the problem I had. To avoid having to pay anything, I told the worker that I'd do it on my own in which he agreed upon. He told me, "just holla at me whenever you're ready." It took me about 3 minutes to take off my tire to which I "holla'ed" at him. Instead, he passes me on to another worker, now a lady, to check out my problem. When I began to show her the actual problem, she then advised me that I shouldn't of taken off the wheel because I would need the store mechanic, who was currently working on other bikes, to give me a detailed explanation of my bike's problem. I asked, "Does that cost money, because I arrived here to have my bike checked out." She says, "Yes, I'm sorry but you really shouldn't of done that. The only thing you can do is do your research on this." How can I expect to receive good service here when I am met with workers who place little to no care into their customers? Now I was met with a taken apart bike with no one to help me out with my problem at all. To add insult to injury, another worker came up to me and asked, "What's going on here?" to which I replied to him the dilemma I just experienced. With the last bit of me hoping that he'd help me out, the only thing he said to me was "Well we're starting to pack up shop here so you've only got a few minutes." Wow. Just wow. Not only was I met with meager information or help on my bike, I was met with complete carelessness. The only GREAT experience I got out of that day was with a worker named Kyle, who was jovial and respectful in every kind of way. If I were the boss, I'd give him a raise because in all due respect, he made the rest of the workers who were at least 10 years older than him look like kids. But other than that, I am highly dissatisfied with my experience at this bike store. read more

Brought my son in to pick up a new bike. Shopping here in the times of covid was a fantastic experience. Other bike shops in our area do not let you walk in and they bring bikes out to you. Superfly allows two groups in the shop at a time, letting us look at the racks of bikes, and with Main street shutting down for cars so that restaurants can have outdoor seating it is the perfect spot for a 7 year old to test out some new wheels. He got to test multiple bikes and we were not upsold to the most expensive bike. Great options were presented with different advantages and we walked away with the perfect bike (that was well priced). We've caught a flat after a 2 week long streak of riding daily and they fixed it up quick for us. Great help on the sale, on the repair, and everything in between. Big fans of the shop! read more

I was on a ride when my chain broke. Shame on me for not having a spare magic link so I based on the advice from a passerby, I walked my bike to the shop to see if they could make the repair. I arrived a couple minutes after 10am and I was sad to see that they didn't open until 11am. I peeked through the window and saw a guy in there. He saw me and came out to see what I needed. I told him about the situation and he said "let me see what I can do for you. Go grab a coffee and I will have it done in 10 minutes or so." Shopping for an e-bike and discovered Superfly Wheels an authorized Aventon dealer. Had narrowed down my search to 2 Aventon e-bikes they had in stock but has to put together. Mike the store manager was very helpful and by next day both bikes were ready to go and I was encouraged to try them both out before deciding. I left with a new Aventon e-bike and could not be happier with my experience at Superfly Wheels. They have a very good inventory of new bikes, take trade -ins and have great customer service.
