Love to see a 1 man job pulled off so well. Thanks for the tips Nick. Even though the bike wasnt salvageable I was able to get another at a good price with his professional help. read more

Nick did an excellent job building my new Orbea bike right out of the box. Everything was assembled and adjusted perfectly, and the bike rides great. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my questions. I really appreciate his attention to detail and highly recommend him to anyone needing bike service. Thanks, Nick! read more

Nick was super responsive from the start. He provided a reasonable quote to tune up three mountain bikes and scheduled time with us on the weekend. He messaged to us when he was on his way to our home and arrived on time and prepared. He worked on our 3 bikes for almost 2 hours and provided insight on all three. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. One of our bikes, an older model Canondale, wasn't worth repairing/tuning up and he was honest about the shape it was in. Very happy with Nick's services. We are happy customers and will recommend to family and friends. 5 stars! read more

Honest and reliable. I asked for the quote and Nicolas was very prompt during the conversation. His quote was reasonable. He gave me an honest suggestion to get the job done at a local shop as the cost of labor was higher then the cost of new bike. Very hard to find honest and reliable business like this. Highly recommended. read more

Takes two weeks for a house call. Charged us $75 for a back bike tire change that I already bought tires for even if it is fit an eBike. The bike is very wobbly after he "fixed " it. I still will support local businesses but not one where I feel taken advantage of... Check out Dick's . They also do repairs for $7! read more

My Serotta build turned out great thanks the Nike's help! read more

Blackhawk Bike Tech - Serotta turned out really nice, Thanks! - Bike Repair/Maintenance Near Me

Highly recommended, reasonable pricing, he even come to you home to do the service, unlike other places, you need to bring your bike to them and usually takes couple of days before you can get it back. Nick is knowledgeable and experienced about bikes. He fixed my issue the the same day. Also the following day I had some minor issues, he came again and fixed it with no additional costs. He is very responsive, I texted him and got replied within 20 mins. He is definitely the guy you want to hire. read more

Blackhawk Bike Tech - He did tune up and wheel alignment for my new bike. - Bike Repair/Maintenance Near Me

Requested a cable change for one of my bike gear. Response was fast. Nick was upfront about the price, and the repair was done rapidly.

Once again Nick came through to save the day! I had 3 bike tires that needed tubes replaced and brakes that needed adjustment. Nick came to my location right on time and with all the right equipment to get the job done. He really demonstrated his knowledge of the bike components and I felt very comfortable with the work he performed. Could not ask for a better bike tech to get your bikes back into working order. Highly recommended! read more

Fantastic. Came quickly and got my bike, which has been sitting unused in the garage for a long time, into working order. It's cleaned and ready to roll. There is one broken piece and he sent me the link to buy the part because I can replace it myself. I really appreciated the fast response to my online quote request and the coordination of services, which were done in my driveway. I would definitely use the service again if I needed more assistance with bikes. read more

Bought a used bike and couldn't get into any of the shops for weeks due to all the COVID frenzy of exercise equipment purchases. Lucky to have found Nick. He was available same day, pricing was reasonable, he arrived on time and even texted me when he thought he was going to be late! Arrived with all professional equipment, worked on my bike for roughly an hour in my garage (wore a mask) and then walked me around what he did, and discussed a couple remaining issues. He was TERRIFIC! Bike rides great!! Highly recommend. read more

I highly recommend Blackhawk Bike Tech. He was easy to book, on time, knowledgeable, and came to my home for the bike repair. I would have probably spent more taking my bike to a repair shop. I'm very happy with this service. read more

Nicholas was very prompt and professional. I love the fact this service is mobile. I do not own a bike rack so this saved me time and money. He did basic tune up for my two bikes in a fair amount of time. If I ever need any bike maintenance and repair, I would definitely message him again. read more

Nick is awesome. On time. Did all the expected maintenance on my bike and more. Price is excellent for what he is offering. Will use his services again. read more

I really needed my bike tires replaced and Nicholas responded immediately to my inquiry and was able to bring the parts needed over to me and replace my tires all in one day! Best service I've received!! Thanks Nicholas! read more

It is funny, I put a quote request for three mobile bike shops, and Nick was the only one who responded. Although I was out of his service area, he still, very quickly responded. Fast forward to the next day (today). I placed a quote request for mobile bike repair through Yelp, to two different bike repair businesses (I thought), and guess what, Nick was the only one to respond again (even though I hit him up by accident). You have to equate responsiveness with service, and the fact that he responded so quickly, 2 x, and doesn't even service my area, tells me what kind of business he runs. Props to nick and his business. read more

Nick was absolutely wonderful with a variety of family "bike woes" we've had over last few weeks. I don't know much about bikes but do know Nick was reasonable and upfront with pricing, explained everything he was doing, was super responsive and friendly. He went above and beyond for us to make sure everyone's wheels were working correctly and checked up after to make sure we were all happy. He built not one but two different bikes in boxes for us, helped get us several new parts on an old, broken bike saving us tons of $ and fixed a couple tires AND minor fix-it's on the kids bikes. I think he came over 6-7 different times total without complaint. He did all of the work outside on our driveway and was extra respectful with social distancing, gloves etc. Highly recommend - he was excellent for us. read more

He did an excellent job. I called him up and had an appointment the next day. He came to my house and worked on two bikes. He had them fixed and back to me fast. My one bike never shifted that well and now it shift smooth and better than new. I would highly recommend him for any bike maintenance or problems. read more

Nick is awesome! After changing my appointment multiple times (on my end), he was able to replace my cassette and install a new chain on mtn bike. He is the person to go to if you need maintenance or to install equipment on your bike. A respectful and professional mechanic who knows what parts to get and installs them in no time, definitely recommend!! read more

Nick is awesome! My bike needed a lot of work due to a recent move where movers roughed up my bike, and he was able to repair my bike back to optimal health. Initially, I just needed the pedal on my bike put on, and Nick even gave my bike a tune up on top of that. Nick is very knowledgeable about bikes, has great prices, and offers excellent service. I will be going to him from now on for my bike repair needs as well as recommending him to my friends & family. read more

Extremely fast response when I requested a quote. And Nick was very flexible with the appointment. He's also mobile so that makes it very convenient. And he definitely knows bike. Came to my house and quickly, professionally repaired my bike after 2 local bike shops didn't repair properly! Nice guy and I highly recommend! read more

Nice guy but not a full service tech. Doesn't do hydraulic brakes and appointment seems to be only 6:30 in your driveway.

Great service. Personable. Called to check on my bike a few days later. Highly recommend

Nick is an excellent bike mechanic and has a great attention to detail. He removed the entire groupset (shifters, gears, derailleurs, brakes, cables) on my road bike and replaced it with a high end Dura Ace kit. He was very helpful in helping me choose the right parts and knew a lot about all the options out on the market. I am absolutely pleased with the work he did on the install. Everything was done with meticulous precision and the bike feels perfect. Nick even took some time to adjust little details that I wouldn't have even noticed, he just did it because he really cares! I'd highly recommend Nick for any kind of bike services and will definitely bring my bikes to him for all future needs. read more

I had been meaning to bring my bike out of retirement where it had been languishing for a couple of years, but somehow could never find the time to take it down to a bike shop to get it back into service. I saw Nick's advert on an online bulletin board and the fact that he will come and pick up your bike as part of the service was a complete win for me. I took a chance and am really glad I found him! Super easy to deal with, quick to respond to emails and really friendly. He seemed very knowledgeable and got my bike back to me looking like new within a few days, despite having to wait for parts to arrive. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him! read more
