I suggested clearer upfront pricing so customers know what to expect, but the response felt dismissive. While my son could have asked in advance, the lack of transparent pricing made this a disappointing experience, and our family will not be returning.

Keep in mind I was only able to call at noon because they only opened at noon . I also tried to email and text them last night, but there was no ability to do so. When I spoke to the representative about my needs to cancel, I was told that sure we can cancel. She then said, would you like to pay your cancellation penalty with a card on file? When I asked what is the cancellation charge she stated you owe half your haircut. I tried again to explain that I work remotely and was added last night to a business call during my haircut appt - I just have a conflict that is not preventable. She replied well you can schedule another time perhaps in the evening - but you owe $33 for cancellation. Hard pass on the lack of appropriate customer service. It's a shame. I got a great haircut there and will not be returning. I also referred my husband there and he will not be returning as well. We are not criminals lol just had a conflict that we thought the business would professionally accommodate.

Looked like someone poured acid on my hair. I went to Julia…read morefor a haircut and hair dye a week ago. I asked for a long layered V cut in the back but the haircut looked like a U and it was extremely choppy. Never once did she show me the back or asked if I liked it. I was being gaslighted by the other hairstylists as if it was an amazing job. It was my fault that I was being nice about it but it turns out she was extremely inexperienced and most likely did not have a hair license. The other employees were joking about a cosmetology inspection and Julia having to go back to being a shampoo girl. Next was the hair dye, and I wanted gray dye with shadow roots. I totally understood if she could not do it and I communicated that, but she said it was okay but it would be a 2 day process because I have some red dyes. (The red dyes were not bright, it was more burgundy by the way) I went along with it because she was supposed to be the professional. After the 5-hour ordeal, the hair color ended up being dark brown/gray but it faded into a light blonde somehow. I called back to request a different hair stylist/colorist and to voice my concerns but the person dismissed my issues and said I could come in on my preferred day. Then, immediately HUNG UP ON ME. Wow! Not once did she ask what was wrong. What kind of place are they running? Anyone who is interested in this place, please do your due diligence and research your hairstylist and/or colorist. It seems as though they are throwing just anyone at the station and I felt completely taken advantage of as a person of color who has long, thick hair. I don't understand how a salon could operate this way. Never going to recommend anyone here who has textured hair.
