She insisted that I accompany her to get her hair done, and I ended up having to bring my 3 month old grandson along so I was a little worried, but luckily, they have a comfortable sitting area. I was able to just sit and relax with the baby and watch my daughter's hair being transformed. It's a very cool place too, so I also enjoyed just looking at how they have the place decorated. Sometimes pricier services are worth it when you know it supports staff. I will note that one of our group members had a less than stellar time, having had her finger pad cut during the manicure. The staff tried to resolve the issue overall, and mistakes happen, but this soured the experience just a bit.

They are pretty punctual here. I got a 15 min pedicure which really was that quick. When I arrived, the lady at the front took my coat. I was offered cookies and coffee (which was nice). The cookie was so crispy and I liked how the coffee was in a mug. Then I sat down and had quick and friendly service. They even gave me actual flip flops since I forgot to bring mine from home. It was definitely more of a spa experience than the pedicures I normally get. I will definitely come back.

She is easy to talk to, always supportive of whatever hair-related requests I make, and offers honest advice when appropriate. She has never made me feel guilty about my total neglect of my hair (which has happened at other salons). As an added bonus, she always offers to curl my hair at the end, making me feel even more glam. The salon itself is clean and staff is courteous. There's a cute selection of jewelry and accessories for sale that you can browse while you wait. Making an appointment is easy --- you can request times you want online, and they'll confirm with you via email or phone. This time, despite a relatively restrictive schedule, they were able to find me an evening appointment with my preferred stylist within 1 week of my request. Prices have always been reasonable as well. Definitely planning to return on a regular basis and would highly recommend Salon 926 and Tiana to all!

It was if she had known my hair for years. Alexa is the owner of Salon Rose. She spent ample time asking detailed questions about my hair, Coming from the Deep South, I have never had a challenge with my curly hair. Humidity is curly hair's bestie! The very dry and cold temps here in Pennsylvania has not worked with my curly hair since arriving in December. Alexa explained to me the why's, products, moisture etc., needed on my hair. She cut my style perfectly, as if she had been my stylist for years! Salon Rose is in a suite. I love the privacy, Alexa's personal attention to details and the atmosphere of her salon. She is warm and friendly. Her assistant, Gabby, is incredible. She shampooed my hair and gave me the most relaxing head message. Gabby assists Alexa so beautifully, and they flow well together making my experience stress free and relaxing. At the beginning of this year, I went a little insane with trying to color my hair several unnatural shades, including purple. She did her best to maintain the health of my hair, while trying to achieve the color I wanted. Once, when my hair wasn't the exact shade of purple I'd asked for, she didn't even ask for any payment, she just let me come back again a week later to try the color once more. She's sooo friendly, and such a sweetheart. I'm going to miss her when I move! The price is a little high, but it's worth it to me. A word of warning: I had my hair cut by one other person, who I believe is the only man working there. He completely BUTCHERED my hair! I was so upset! But luckily, Jacki fixed it for me, for free, even though it wasn't her fault. Again, I love her.
