My daughter recently had her hair done here for her senior prom and it turned out beautifully (sorry - I can't remember the stylist's name but she did a great job!). She insisted that I accompany her to get her hair done, and I ended up having to bring my 3 month old grandson along so I was a little worried, but luckily, they have a comfortable sitting area. I was able to just sit and relax with the baby and watch my daughter's hair being transformed. It's a very cool place too, so I also enjoyed just looking at how they have the place decorated. Kelsey and Taylor (along with two additional stylists) did hair and makeup for me and my 6 bridesmaids and they were incredible! I absolutely loved the way my makeup and hair turned out and my bridesmaids all felt the same way. Everyone looked great all night! Kelsey and Emily (the owner) were super easy to work with to schedule my trial and helped me put together a day of schedule so we weren't stressed on time. All the stylists were on time and efficient too which made the day of so much easier. Truly a fantastic experience all around. I've been going to tribe for a couple years now and the atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for and didn't even know it until I went there my first time. It's like Terrain/Anthropologie in salon form!!! Growing up my parents always took me to little cheap chain places for kid cuts. Obviously when I got older I started to look for specialized artists. Only it was always paying for the work (which they deserve exactly what they charge for the amount of time they put in) but not so much the atmosphere. When I found tribe I immediately fell in love! You are not only paying for the incredible talent in the salon but the atmosphere as well, which we all know is incredibly important when you are spending 3+ hours sometimes in a place. They carry the Kevyn Murphy line which is my favorite, and the other clean goodies they sell are just as lovely! I recently went to Tribe for the first time and found my forever salon. Walking in you feel like you have entered Anthropologie but with its own unique twist. The salon is gorgeous and the girls that work there have personalities to match. I got my hair done by Nikole and she put me at ease right away as I have had some bad experiences in the past with being a blonde. Her talent with balayage is unreal and I felt like I knew her forever. The owner of the salon was also the sweetest and someone I felt like I could be best friends with right away.
