I've been coming here for about 5 years now just to get a basic cut but Edgar really did a great job and my wife loved it. I would only say that SuperCuts should invest in revitalizing or updating the place. Maybe even just a paint job/new drawers. I have a trip on friday and j thought oh lets get my hair done monday :o] went online, made the appointment , on a day the WEBSITE RECCOMENDED BC I COULDNT CHOOSE A DATE, set a time. No problem. Took my son in for a hair cut. I have taken him previously to the woman with purple hair and she did a great job. So I trusted coming here as she made it feel like they all knew what they were doing. Yesterday I took my son to have his hair cut it was a different girl. She was young with curly hair. I asked to keep two inches on the top I showed the girl a picture of what we wanted. Let me tell you we didn't come out with that at all. She cut his hair so short.. she only left a little under an inch on top it was not blended at all.. it's shorter in some places and longer in others. Hair is so sacred and if you're unsure of how to do a cut please allow someone with better experience do it. Luckily hair grows back and my son's hair grows pretty fast. Still very disappointed as now his hair is botched for his grandmothers birthday and a wedding we must attend. read more

Went in for a standard cut and did not get the cut I requested. I asked the stylist to cut my hair shorter but she said no. I was shocked since I was the customer asking for a hair CUT... the standard service I walked in for. everyone else was nice but she seemed in a rush to get me out. I do not feel valued as a customer, I came to get my haircut on October 29 by Rebeka very lovely girl to talk with during the cut. I have natural curly hair I asked if she was comfortable cutting curly hair she informed me yes I asked for short layers so that my hair can look fuller and not have to do much to it. During the cut she did ask if I straighten my hair? I responded yes now and then. After leaving the question bothered me so I straighten my hair, and come to find out half of my head is not even layered correctly! I contacted her and asked if she can fix my hair she advised me yes but when I arrived I was told I had to wait an hour and a half this is not good customer service if you mess up and a customer is allowing you to fix your mistake then you should value her as a customer fit her and do not ask her to wait!!! I walked into this Supercuts 45mins before they were closing and there was only one other customer in there and I was told by some lady with purple hair that if I don't have a reservation they are not cutting my hair. I went in for a haircut, and came out with Highlights! I was not expecting to get highlighs with Edgar, but I explained to him how I had been looking for someone to give me highlights for about two months, he told me that he was actually a color specialist. I have never been to supercuts, and did not know this was a service they offered. Once he explained to me what the process would be I said lets do it! I came out of there loving my hair so much, and was so happy with the amazing results that Edgar left me with. I will definitely be back, becuase I loved the honesty that Edgar gave me, not just with my highlights, but also with my haircut. I showed him a picture of the haircut that I wanted ,and asked how I normally style my hair. He explained to me that I would need to regullary blow dry my hair since I wanted layers, which I loved about him becuase any other hairdresser would cut them without explaining how I would need to style my hair. I've been going to this location since I was a child. Griselle was always very kind to me and my family. As an adult, I am satisfied with the work these stylists do. I recently went in to get a haircut, my first since the pandemic started. My hair was dead and long. I went in asking for layers, 6inches off, with short curtain bangs. Rebecca was super sweet and kind, always asking for my input so that I could get the perfect cut the way I wanted. She did my bangs perfectly and the compliments are still coming! I came in a few days later to get the layers adjusted. They didn't charge me which I thought was especially nice. Did an amazing job on the layers too. I'm very happy with my cut. read more

I haven't been to this location in 5+ years but I never had any complaints. Today I took my kid here because Pelitos was having some kind of Covid super spreader event yesterday with the place packed with stylists, kids and their parents. Made a noon appointment and walked in 5 minutes early. They are respecting the safety and well-being of their clients by only allowing 2 clients at once. Plenty of distancing and masks required. The stylist did a great job with my son's hair and we will definitely be back. We won't even miss the " free" dollar store toy (that breaks within a day) that you get at Pelitos. read more

We came into Supercuts for a walk in and were told it would be an hour wait . They took our name and number along and stated we would get a call once they were ready . We waited past an hour and 20 and walked back in . I asked one of the females kindly how much longer it would be and she mentioned to let the other girl finish and she would be with my son . The man standing at the cashier then questioned what did I need . I said my son is just waiting for his hair cut, we were here about an hour and 20 min ago . Instead of saying we will be right with you when we can or thanks for waiting he said I didn't see you an hour ago I was here . He basically Implied I was lying which I didn't appreciate . He then said he (my son) checked in already. I have his name . I didn't appreciate the unprofessionalism at all and we only waited since we really needed a hair cut . I will def not return after 1 hour and 40 min wait . I understand sometimes the wait is longer but use some customer service skills. read more

Would not recommend this place at all. Better off going to a barber school. At least you would have been chances of a decent cut. Had my sons hair cut here, an it was a horrible. Come to find out it was the manager that was cutting his hair. After realizing the horrible cut, we when back to have them fix it. But not it was getting worse. She started chopping off the top. To even the fade off. But the patches were on the bottom. Which made no sense. But luckily another barber was able to come help fix the mistakes. His hair is never this short. Mildly motivated by the negative review of this Super Cuts, I decided to take a look for myself... Going next door to The Coffee Bean I've always pondered it, but never set foot until today. There was a bit of a wait, 30 minutes or so, but the person that checked me in was polite and courteous. Bee was the lady that assisted me today in cleaning up my hair and did a great job! Friendly, focused and professional. In short, I'm glad I gave them a second look and will start coming here since they are so close to home... At the end of the day, people complaining about a $15 haircut should get a flowbee and rock it out at home... 8) read more

This Supercuts is absolutely pathetic. Just avoid altogether. I went in for a haircut and left with an empty wallet. I do not charge one price for a cut until you are happy. They assume to know what will look good, and will do the job, and then say "it's done!" But they don't know. Especially for a first or second visit. If you want it thinner, or more length off the top, or some texturizing....nope. That'll cost extra. If you don't pay their extra fees, they won't finish the cut and your hair will look like crap. These ridiculous tactics are not posted, nor do they tell you ahead of time. I think I'll find out who licenses the salon and make a complaint. Avoid. read more

I have been coming here for 3 years since moving to Whittier. This last year this place has completely fallen apart. The "stylists" have very poor attitudes or are just completely incompetent. They just want to rush through hair cuts and make their tips as quickly as possible. They will even over charge for cuts making up lame excuses like "well you have a lot of hair so I charged you more than double". Seriously? My last haircut was so bad that I went to F-Sam's today and they asked if I had given myself this haircut. No, it was someone at Supercuts on Greenleaf. Speaking of F-Sam's, they are less expensive AND they include a shampoo after the cut. I can't remember when I have had a better cut. I will Never return to this Supercuts. Goodbye read more

My fiancé and I walked in yesterday shortly after this location opened at 10am. Jasmine took care of us and was very friendly. She made the experience very pleasant and made excellent conversation. The environment is clean and friendly and they take COVID 19 very serious. You have to keep your mask on and sanatize your hands before even sitting in the chair. I highly recommend the girls that work here. I like this place, good vibe and well lit. Big bay windows so you can watch the foot traffic as you get your hair cut. Only advice is to call ahead. Appointments book fast so call ahead to get one. I walked in a few times to find the waiting area empty but appointments were booked up. I waited and sure enough people kept walking in the door for their appointments. Also have them wash your hair after getting cut, especially if you're headed somewhere after. Gets rid of the hair clippings and they will style your hair after you shampoo it. read more
