I have been going to Leon for many years to get my hair cut. He is very talented and knows what he is doing because of his training. That said, I cannot go back anymore after using the restroom and looking around and seeing all of the dirt and grime. The place is extremely dirty. I'm not OCD on cleanliness but I'm almost certain he would get shut down if the health department looked in the restroom. I also noticed there is no cleaning supplies such as barbicide to clean the tools and I don't see him cleaning any of the tools before he uses them on the next customer. I am so happy I found this place, I have been coming here for about a year and a half. I always get my hair cut by Leon. I haven't been to another stylist ever since. I receive so many compliments on my hair. He cuts my hair exactly the way I want it. And since I have a bob with bangs, Leon offers to trim my bangs for free inbetween haircuts, which is pretty neat. His customer service and skills are top of the line. This place is great!!! I called at 10am and Leon got me in at 1:00 today. I was skeptical at first, but read the reviews on here so I decided to give it a shot. I've been growing out a pixie cut and it needed some serious re-shaping, but I wanted to keep the length. Leon was very attentive to my requests. Leon is amazing all around. He's friendly and knowledgeable about hair. My auntie recommended him after I lost my haircut lady to her long battle with cancer just before the pandemic. I called Leon and scheduled my appointment. We started with a shampoo and conditioner wash, he did his magic cutting it and finally he blow dried it to check for symmetry and perfect the cut. I'm love with my hair cut because it feels so healthy and most of all he knows what he's doing wether you have short, long, straight, or curly hair. Not really sure how to rate this place. I've been here twice: the first time was a great haircut experience, the second was by far my worst haircut experience. Haircut 1: Leon was very knowledgable, gave a great "classic" haircut that grew out fairly well. It's cool that he uses scissors as his only tool. Haircut 2: I went in asking for an asymmetrical lob and told him I'm totally open to adjusting the lengths of the asymmetrical cut as he sees fit. He refused to cut my hair because "asymmetrical haircuts are not a thing": please behold a selection of excuses I received while explaining what I wanted + showing him pictures: -The lady has her hair pushed behind one ear -The lady has product in her hair on one side -The lady has the rest of her hair behind her head on one side -That is a bad haircut and not a precision cut, I can't cut that I appreciate his honesty about not being able to cut that, but also - he's a professional, not a backyard amateur. I pay professionals to figure out how to do things that they may not have necessarily done before. All the more disappointing because I've had asymmetrical cuts in the past that I loved, so I definitely know it's a far cry from impossible. In summary, if you're looking for a classic cut, I'm sure Leon's your guy. If you're looking for anything else, be prepared to be told that it's impossible and hear some odd (albeit entertaining) excuses. Note: I recommended this guy to a friend who told me he refused to cut her hair because she was asking for something impossible. I thought she caught him on a bad day, but apparently this is a thing. read more

I came in here expecting to get a great haircut as all these reviews were 5 stars(questionable after I got this haircut) I walk in and Leon was talking to me about what I wanted to do I said I wanted to cut 2-3 inches and a few layers. I was feeling comfortable and was like, "wow okay he's really hyping himself up, I'm so excited to get this cut!". But then...he starts to cut and I instantly felt like there was something wrong, he kept cutting away at my hair almost 4 inches more than what I told him, my front layers were crooked and when he dried my hair it looked like the most choppy and horrendous cut I've ever had in my entire life! His reviews are not what they say they are and quite frankly he was all talk and no walk. Never coming here again. I now have a terrible hair cut that I have to deal with until my hair is long enough to cut evenly. read more

Leon is amazing! I went to this salon for a pixie cut. What caught my attention was the pictures of his hair artwork. Every other salon had the same long hair blowouts with layered cuts. I felt so comfortable giving this place a shot by the amazing pictures of his haircuts that he had up. I recently cut my hair 3 weeks ago and I hated it. It was not what I wanted.
