The service here is amazing. My haircut was also amazing cool vibes at this place. You could check in through your phone and it's a fast and easy process. Also, the haircuts here and beard trims are extremely affordable unlike a lot of places. If you want to save money and still look good, come here. read more

Thank you to the lovely Lady that did my haircut. I went in to donate my hair. She was very sweet and helpful.

Been here a couple times now, more so due to the pricing and great coupons.. i usually come with my son. So i just noticed the price creeped up a bit, which is still in line with most shops in the area. So like i said, been here a couple times, and the people working there usually always shift, never the same stylist. Even though they do have the ticket system which tells them what you got last time on the haircut, the people doing it arent the same. So 2 out of the 4 times ive been there, my haircut was messed up. Once i just left it, and the second time i had to go back so they could fix it. My son's hair has been fine, since he isnt picky. All 4 times now, have been with different sylist as well. So in my experience, its always a hit and miss. Never consistent. read more

My sons had a haircut today and it was uneven and looks funny. I was hesitant to do it myself. But seeing the haircut i wish i should have done it myslef lol.. We have a different stylist today. She uses only the clippers. The last lady who did my sons haircut was good and was precise. I guess it depends on whos stylist youll get some are good some are not. For the price its pretty average. $23 for kids haircut, fair pricing. But was a hidden miss read more

We had been going here for about 5 years. They have messed up my twins hair cuts so many times. We found 2 people in there that we were ok with using. That's the only reason we would go back. Today we went and had our dog with us. He is a very chill. We entered the shop and sat down. Someone new walked up to me and said I couldn't have him there. There was NO sign posted ANYWHERE on the outside, windows or within the shop stating they didn't allow dogs. They just lost business from our family due to the way they handled that situation. read more

I've been going here for around three years. They're always nice consistent with the haircuts quick and convenient with check-in.

I have been going to this Great Clips salon since the COVID-19 pandemic started to improve (so for me) about 3 years and I love their customer service as everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the environment salon wise has always been real peaceful and relaxing. The best part is that Great Clips have their "Clip Notes" system; making it easier to go inside and get your hair back to looking neat and tidy. I always go to see either Stacy or Rainie as both ladies have always done excellent work on cutting my hair as short as I needed my hair to be. They do not disappoint... NOT once! And they both continue to go above and beyond anytime I do a quick spot check on my hair and see that stray hairs need to be cut off or if I wanted to go a little more shorter with my haircut. I am forever grateful to have met these two special one-of-a kind ladies who share a special place in my heart and I easily click with them. read more

I gave this place another try and the hairdresser did a terrible job cutting my daughter's hair. The haircut looked fine when completed, but the next day once it was completely dry, I was able to see how uneven the back was. The hair on her left side is a lot shorter than on the right. I would suggest checking the hair before leaving the salon. read more

Dear Great Clips Owner, I love your staff and service. I cannot explain how your prices have gone from $14 to $24 in 24 months. I simply changed my tips from $15 down to $5. As you increase, you are taking money away from your employees for the most part. Your rent, utilities and salaries have stayed the same for the most part. For sure not doubled. Thank You. read more

I mean you get what you pay for here but like damn. Chopped my hair up like she was doing karate. I asked for long layers and curtain bangs and left looking like a used mop. The hair color is my own but like mama why you gotta do me like this. I was desperate for a haircut during Covid and this is what I get. So sad. read more

I went in to have my hair trimmed and was the only one there. I pointed to a stylist, the one with the worst haircut, to take me and she nodded, "No." It could have been that she had "issues" since she was in the RR for 15 minutes. Ok, no worries. But I rushed my cut since after that, the place smelled so badly. read more

Customer service is terrible. I walked in and no one checked us in. Didn't know online check in is the only way to get a spot in line. In the meantime we got pushed down the list even though we were physically in the store. Slow service. They probably really hate their jobs here. read more

Horrible customer service. I signed up online with the app. I received a text that said 4 minutes. I showed up at the proper time. When I walked in the door, my name was no longer on the list. Some large girl with tattoos and piercings was rude and said "Sorry". I asked her to look at my text. And she refused. She kept saying sorry, sorry, sorry, basically mocking my predicament. I asked her to at least take a look at it and her reply was sorry can't help you. I've been going to this location every four weeks for three years now. The other workers in there were just standing quietly and you could see that they were embarrassed. They just lost a good customer. If the franchise owner really gives two craps about customer service he'll reach out to me read more

My son told the girl what he wanted first thing she does is cut the top off his hair he asked for no cutting on top number two on the bottom. Simple right He's so upset next time maybe listen to what your client wants we won't be coming here anymore and then she acts like she doesn't know what he's talking about leaves him full of hairs super bad service read more

Very unhappy with this place will not be going back. Did a horrible job on my sons hair the lady barely understands she cut way to much off. My poor son left in tears shouldn't have even paid for how my child's haircut came out! I deserve a refund. ‍ read more

When you make an appointment on the website it says nothing about being REQUIRED to create an account profile. No one should need to create a profile and share personal information for a walk-in haircut. Stop caving to companies like this, just say NO. It's a gimmick and a way to get personal information. I could not find a privacy statement so maybe they're not even in compliance?? Staff was a bit rude, as stated in other reviews. Hopefully they shut down by the end of the year. Sad read more

I came here twice now. Both times I read all these reviews about the customer service and was prepared for crap service. Both times I got nothing but good conversation, smiles and a great haircut I cannot remember with stylist who cut my hair, I had two different ones. But both knew how to cut my pixie hair and I waited 5 weeks in between cuts, they grew out nicely. I believe the first time I paid $15ish and the second time I paid $7.99 bc I had a coupon. Very nice, do check-in online or through the app. Bc I don't live far but they took me not two minutes after I walked in. read more

Great Clips - Wanted a longer version of "Snow white's" hair from the show "Once upon a time"...nailed it! Super happy! - Hair Salons Near Me - Whittier, California

Came here for a haircut and was greeted just outside the door by an employee who freaked out because we didn't stand right on the "stand here spot" (we didn't see it) they wanted to let me leave my kids with them, uh no sorry, not happening. We've been coming to this establishment for a few years, Marcella really did a number on both my boys hair, she did a horrible job, didn't listen to anything we asked for or read any of the notes in the previous history, she is always very short and unfriendly but this time it was beyond bad customer service, we won't be back! read more

I really hate doing this so soon but I'm super bummed. I love my haircut from the front, but the back is super uneven. The hair stylist was very nice however, but when I called the person who answered the phone today (didn't get the name and I think it was somebody else) was super weird and rude. I politely explained that I was just there and I really like the front, but that the back is super uneven and asked if I could some back. She was silent and then said "that's fine" and hung up. I'm so disappointed, and mad at myself for coming back here. My first experience was good but it was a small trim. I won't even return for them to try to fix it because of how the lady was on the phone. So this isn't even directed towards the stylist, know it COULD be easily fixed, I even tried to and it's better in this pic than before, but I don't support bad customer service and won't have them touch it now. Won't be coming back (I know I got a Karen haircut and sound like one. LOL) but lesson learned about this place. You get what you pay for! read more

I enjoy Great Clips because of their online check in. The computer remembers what cut I last got and since I get a simple cut, it is always quick and easy. The prices have climbed about 10%/year, but I'm a senior and get a small discount. It all works out for me, the girls are pleasant and always very efficient. The system works! read more

I specifically go to this shop to look for Marcela. She's been cutting my hair for years. She gets it right every time and I walk out feeling a few years younger. She's a pleasure to hang with for these brief moments in time. Five stars to Marcela and Great Clips for having her. And their prices are not bad! Thanks Marcela! read more

My husband took my son for a haircut on Tuesday July 30, I want to cry the haircut is so awful! My son has his school Pictures on Thursday for his ID and the pictures we purchase for the school year. All I can say is they're lucky I was out of town because I would have taken my son back to complain about this terrible cut! He looks like Jim Carey I'm dumb and dumber! Who the hell gives a 14 year old boy a bowl haircut?!? The kicker is it's not even straight! It's crooked! I can't believe I was charged for this terrible cut! I am shocked! I am usually very happy with my guys haircuts from here. My husbands cut wasn't much better. I honestly don't know what to say and the only fix for this is to shave the poor kids head. So angry and disappointed. read more

Been going there, last few times I go, I get chopped up hair cut, let my hair grow out, went back for another, explained in a nice way, bam! Left the top of my head with almost no cutting, very long. These people don't care or what? I'm done, not going there anymore. read more

Broken system, whatever haircuts, $15. I've been getting my haircut here since this location opened and have kept coming back every few weeks. Yet today I wasn't allowed to check in online because of the high volume of check-ins (which has happened before) so I decided to drive 5 minutes to the location and walked in at 8:34pm. One of the main reasons I liked this place is because they stay open till 9. On the check-in screen there was a long list of 8 or so "people" and two parents waiting in the lobby for their kids getting cuts. I was informed by one of the 3 haircutting women that there were too many check-ins and that the computer wouldn't let me check in so I wasn't able to get my haircut. "We open tomorrow at 9." I was surprised how quickly rejected I was. I guess great clips has never heard the expression "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" because they are eager to turn away real life customers for names on a screen. With no other options at this hour I decided to see how many people showed up and guess what?? ZERO!! Technological issues and a lack of customer service will be the demise of this business. I'll take my $5 tips elsewhere. read more

I understand the check in on line process, which I did not do, but there are two stylists without customers and they are waiting for online check in's that aren't even there yet. When a chair goes empty, fit the next person in. I was told it can be as much as 45 minutes and maybe more because of the number of "check-ins" ahead of me. But, no "check-ins" are hear. Well, we have to wait just a little while just in case. OK, I'll go somewhere else. Have a nice day. read more

I don't know if they're overwhelmed or just over it but we checked in online, arrived and they took two people who were after us on the list. The stylist was grumpy and didn't say a word except have a seat we'll to you. And apparently, after a haircut, product is extra. read more

Rosie did an AMAZING job with my hair. My hair is down to my waist and I only wanted a trim and she cut the exact amount I wanted. The lady was very very nice. First time I got a fade cut this way and the results showed it. Not a very good haircut.

I received a haircut from Stephanie today and I love it! She had great customer service and was quick yet efficient I definitely will be coming back to this location for future cuts. Online check-in was accurate with wait times but I always expect the estimated time to be a general idea so it may differ some days as expected. Will recommend read more

The workers are extremely rude everyone from the stylist to the owner, i took both of my girls in for a simple trim and they both ended up with HEAD LICE! not only that I called to advise the salon of this and there was never even an apology. I really love how quick they are. I love my hairstylist she was so sweet. I appreciate how she saw that my past person who cut my hair that it uneven and she fixed it. I was told my 1 year old baby CANNOT get a hair cut without a mask. Babies this young are advised NOT to wear masks by the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics. I politely questioned about the policy and was told all Great Clips are forcing children under the age of two, no matter how young, to wear a mask while in their business. (Although, the woman who told me this (Jennifer Aguilar) has been very rude to customers in the past, so I'm just wondering if she is just enforcing whatever rules she feels like, not taking babies health into consideration, just because she feels she can?) Not really sure. It makes me feel so uncomfortable to have him wear a mask for so long, knowing that it is advised against. I'd like the manager to please explain to me and show me the policy this woman is referring to, and to please provide to me specifically where it says that Great Clips IGNORES the recommendations of both the CDC and American Association of Pediatrics. read more

I have been coming here for years and yesterday I had Marcella and got the worst haircut ever My hair was still wet when I left went home and washed it and after it dried it looks like I didn't even have a haircut 19.00 for senior cut plus 4.00 tip it's terrible she was very rude and quick temper and didn't buzz around the ears or even showed me the back with a mirror she did the girl in front of me and took 30 minutes to cut a few inches off her long hair and 10 minutes at the most for me if I ever go back I will definitely not let her ever cut my hair cheer up Marcella your supposed to be a hair cutter very rude person read more

Had an OK hair cut, but he service is unprofessional...it needs improvement. I have been here several times since it opened. The prices are reasonable. My issue is every time I come in they ask me for my phone number. I keep telling them I don't give out my phone number but they don't get it. Today was no different, but what is annoying is the lady that checked me in called me "Hon". It is unprofessional to call your customers "Hon" in every business I can think of. I told her I don't provide my phone number but it totally confused her and she had to ask for help. The next lady came and I gave my name again...its a 2 letter name, very easy name and they miss-spelled it. Good Grief. read more

I usually go to Supercuts to get my hair down however, I had a terrible experience and the girls were overall rude. I went on Yelp and found Great Clips. I showed up and was attended immediately by Nancy. At first, I was a little nervous because I don't let just anyone cut my hair let alone my bangs. I explained to Nancy how much I wanted my hair to be cut and how I wanted my bangs. She explainers everything she was going to do step by step and was very kind. She made me feel comfortable and when she was done with my hair, I was incredibly happy. She cut my bangs exactly how I wanted them. I will definitely be coming back here again.
