Hit or miss for a quick men's haircut. 5 stars for Amanda, 1 star for two other stylists the second time - vibe was off. I had a great experience with Amanda - she took me in quickly and did a great job, very friendly and accommodating for what I asked for. The next time I came in I checked in online, I was the first one in line but I ended waiting for over an hour while the two stylists were doing other customers. Someone else came in well after me but they whisked him in ahead of me without acknowledging me after he said he had a golf tee time coming up and started chatting up the stylist. The second stylist I swear was cutting one single hair of her customer's head at a time and also didn't acknowledge me for the whole hour. I found it unprofessional and left. Why does your 12:15 golf tee time have any bearing on you being able to skip me in line? I actually had a 12:00 sharp meeting with President Obama and now he thinks my hair is sloppy. Ok I thought I can roll with that. Next haircut I will come back. Today I went and the sign on the door said closed due to technical issues. What technical issues? My stylist was Hannah, she knew exactly what I wanted, simple skin fade, trim the top just a little even it out, take the side burns out and done. I go to barbershops often but only if I'm able to get an appointment which is kinda hard to find someone available when you're free and they aren't. Don't go to Super Cuts in Vallejo! I made that mistake. I thought that I would give them a try. If you have a cut in mind... It doesn't matter. If you bring photos in so they can see what you want...it doesn't matter. They will cut your hair the way THEY want. They must be taught only one cut/style...and nothing else. Since I was going on vacation, I really needed to get a haircut for the hot weather. My usual spot that I go to in town was pretty packed and didn't have time to wait another day. I arrived and the lady at the front desk was able to pencil me in. When the front desk told my hairdresser to meet me at the chair she abruptly yelled and said she was on her break. No worries, I don't mind waiting. I showed her the picture with the hair I wanted which was a cut of medium length with layers. That's it. She rushed the haircut and didn't check if it was even like the usual place I got to. I paid $25 which I thought was a bit pricy since my other place charges me $16. If I could give a zero I would. I drove to this location and checked the hours on the signage, which said they closed at 9pm. At 5:15 I sat in my car to to take out braids I had and prepare for a cut. At 5:45 I walk up and find the door locked. I knocked and one of the workers proceeds to tell me that they are closed. I indicated that the sign said they closed at 9pm, her reply is that the owner isn't letting them stay open the full day and refuses to update the hours in the exterior window. She asked if I would come back tomorrow and I replied no ad I have an event to attend. She reiterated that she was sorry and that they close at 6pm; however when I got back to my car I looked at the clock and realized it was still 5:50pm. I had a horrible here. I made an appointment for a cut and highlights and when I got there I waited 20 mins for my appointment which I was not upset about. I was taken to a chair and then asked if I had told them over the phone that I wanted highlights and I answered yes and was then told because whoever scheduled my appointment didn't put that in the book I would have to wait for two other people to go ayof me. This is the worst haircut I've ever gotten in my life. When I said I wanted my hair thinned I didn't mean until there was nothing left anymore. I asked for more trims and layers, instead my bangs got double thick and I got a horrible mullet right out of the 80's. I am going to have to cut all of my hair off to fix this disaster. There is one very thin layer she said "to keep the length" but everything else is jagged and horrible. I look like I have a bowl cut. I'm so upset. She must've known she'd messed up because she kept telling me if one hair was out of place to come back. No way in HELL was I going to let her try and fix this crap. Save your money, hair, and time. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The Stooges had better haircuts than the one she gave me. I was kind enough and smart enough not to complain. This is horrible. Something out of a comedy movie. This haircut is laughable. It'll take my hair years to recover. UPDATE: I went to a normal place to get this fixed. The hairdresser said it was THE WORST haircut she'd seen in 20 years. THE WORST. I took my daughter to get her first haircut for back to school. I chose Supercuts because everywhere else was booked. My daughter knew exactly how short she wanted her hair (a bit past her shoulder) but the woman cut her hair way above shoulder length and left one side longer than the other which wasn't noticeable until dried, once we noticed the difference we went back to get it fixed and once again she left one side longer than the other but not as noticeable. They were "closing" so I had to fix it myself at home. Don't recommend but if you go there please make sure you watch over whoever is cutting your child's hair. read more

I tried to get a haircut here on a Friday night. Figured it wouldn't be too busy. Walked in and was greeted by one of the 2 hairstylists that was working. She took my phone number to log me in (I have had my hair cut here for over 10 yrs) and asked if I had called in (I had not). I asked how long the wait would be. Her response was "have a seat. You are next." .......40 minutes, and 4 other people getting haircuts that came in after me (evidently they had "called in"), I left. I won't be back! This is the 3rd (in a row) bad customer service issue I have had. The last time my haircut was so bad I went home and my wife insisted on shaving my head (and she doesn't like my hair short! ) The time before that I waited over an hour after being told "15-20 minutes". So, I drove 10 minutes to American Canyon Great Clips. 25 minutes later I left having gotten what I wanted from my haircut, timely, friendly, and the correct cut.
