I made an appointment online on a Tuesday morning to get a haircut. I had a coupon to use, and I wasn't sure if I was going be able to use it . I got a really great stylist. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and did a great job on my haircut. It's really hard to find somebody that can cut fine thin hair without getting a rushed and bad haircut. The stylist did an excellent job and I received a lot of compliments on my new style! I also got to use my $11.00 coupon which was helpful and saving me money. If you need a quick trim, nothing to elaborate and basically straight no layers....then I would recommend. However, I was highly upset with the shampoo that I received. I want a shampoo that feels good and is relaxing. The shampoo I received a couple days ago was so wimpy (not sure what other word to use here) it was pathetic. I walked in with my 7 year old daughter with special needs and Rachael got us in right away and was very patient with us. I had just picked her up from school so my daughter's hair was messy and tangled and Rachael was very patient and gentle with her and she was able to do a great haircut with no hiccups! Walked in to a dead area, asked for a haircut, shampoo and blow dry. Was told there were other people coming in for services, so I pivoted to just a haircut instead. I informed my hairdresser that I had layers and just wanted to cut off some dead hair, to my chest. Hairdresser didn't check my part, and cut my hair straight across at an angle. Going to another salon later to get it fixed. Would not recommend, she clearly did not want to be there. read more

It is hit or miss at Supercuts, and you don't get to choose. I often get just a shampoo because shampooing my hair myself wrecks a gel manicure. I don't let anybody at Supercuts blow my hair dry because I don't like they way they do it. Explaining doesn't help. The last time I went in for a shampoo I didn't look at my receipt. When I did, I realized that I had been way overcharged. For a shampoo only, the price is $8.00. The person who does the shampoo usually blows the hair to get the drips out but leaves my hair wet to very damp. I was charged an additional $10 for a "rough dry before Iron Style". My bill was $22, including tip, instead of $10, including tip. I am 80 years old, and the look flat ironing my hair would not be acceptable. However the hair dresser never used any kind of an iron on my hair. When I went back to the Supercuts in Casas Adobes, I was told that was what I always paid, so I searched for my old receipts, which were all $8. I got on the Supercuts website and complained in an email. I never heard from Supercuts Corporate, so I disputed the charge on Discover Card. My dispute was not honored because consumers cannot dispute a service, only a product. Also, tips cannot be disputed. The Discover Dispute Department did NOT tell me this until after I spent some time on it. The point is, Supercuts can't really do too much damage with just a shampoo, but you do need to check your receipt for excess charges before paying your bill. It is really a "low rent" operation, so keep your expectations low. read more

I was way overdue for a trim, and Bella took great care of me. I said I liked my longer length but wanted it to look healthier. She used her professional judgment and my vague request to achieve a great look. She suggested taking more off the back than I was originally thinking and explained exactly what she thought would look best for me and why before proceeding. I put my trust in excellent hands and left with fuller, healthier looking hair. Her cut was perfect for my fine, curly, over-highlighted (i.e. damaged) hair. My ends are no longer ragged, and I have a much better proportion while maintaining the appearance and functionality of long hair like I wanted. Yay! I've been here several times in the past and received great cuts from other stylists, as well. Wait time can be a touch unpredictable, but it's always been a much faster experience than going to a salon with a scheduled appointment. I appreciate that no one has rushed my haircut in order to get to the next customer. I am very particular about my hair and pay for salon foils (not a Supercuts option but tried to save money with Aveda school for awhile). I haven't observed any reason to spend more time and money elsewhere for a cut. Happy client! (I also like that they never try to sell me any products or extra services. I don't blow dry my hair at home and feel awkward declining that elsewhere. Being able to decide spur of the moment to go grab a cut is great for me!) read more

If I could leave this location a 0 I would! I called and asked how long the wait was. The lady who answered said no wait. I let her know I was right up the street and would be there in less than 5 minutes or so. My son and I walked in and she let me know it would be a 30 minute wait! I said I literally called less than 10 minutes ago. I guess someone had walked in and there was an online check in. She never once told me to check in online to make sure I wouldn't have to wait or if someone came in she would take them. She literally said I could come right in! I will definitely avoid the Supercuts at Oracle and McGee in the future. Just got the worst haircut of my life there. Used power shears on the back taking the hair up way too high and left the sides long and irregular. Sprayed water on my hair and did not bother to comb it. Told me it was finished after spending only eight minutes. Walked out with water running down my forehead from the spray that had not been wiped off. Could not believe what a horrible job had been done when I looked in my car mirror. The sides were not symmetrical at all with a deep divot in the hair down on one side. I went right over to Sports Clips in the same plaza area who did a wondeful job of fixing the mess created at Supercuts. I highly recommend Sports Clips who were very professional and saved the day by doing what they could to fix the horrible Supercuts haircut. read more

Worst haircut of my life. Manager is argumentative and unprofessional. Rene the stylist butchered my hair and destroyed 2 years of growing it out in about 5 minutes. She is a butcher not a stylist. I got a refund after being insulted by the manager who agreed my cut wasn't complete but wanted to argue about it instead of fix it. Horrible experience, beware!!! I had to go pay someplace else to try and "fix" it. My hair is ruined! It has to grow back out and have several more quality cuts before it will be fixed! This Supercuts location SUCKS! read more

I received one of the worst, choppiest haircuts I have ever had. Also had color done. Since Supercuts charges by the number of foils they put in your hair, the cost ended up to be more than any other salon in town I have been to (and those would be considered higher end salons - not to sound snotty, just making a point). I am still growing out the cut and will need to have the color redone. I will never go here again. read more

Plan on waiting. I got there before 9 am on Saturday. I was told there was one ahead of me. Everyone on the list above me was crossed off. People that were crossed off would then come in and be served. A guy came in and was told it would be 20 or 30 minutes.... There was no way this was true. At 10:10 they took at least the 3rd person ahead of me. I left. I do not mind waiting if I know how long the wait will be. I do not like being lied to. Tell me how many are ahead of me and how long the wait will actually be. I wasted one and a half hours for nothing on a rare Saturday off. I arrived around 7:30 in the morning and no one was there except me. This was on on the morning of 9/11/15. Several of the ladies at the front desk and I talked for a few minutes about where we were on 9/11 and how it affected us. The manager was ansy, so a wonderful hairstylist then took me back to wash my hair named Stephanie. She did a marvelous job, and put a special conditioner in my hair. When she combed out my long, curly hair it was dripping wet and I asked her if she could dry it just enough so it wasn't so wet. The manager came over to the chair and said "This is a business, if you want your hair dried it will be $16.00." Stunned by her rude attitude I said never mind, and that I did not like her attitude manager). She came over again and said "We will comp your hair style today no one talks to me like that, you must leave!" I paid for my hairstyle as Stephanie tried to mop my hair a little dryer with towels. I told the manager "I had a business for eight years and I never treated anyone like you just treated me, and left. Very rude and unprofessional attitude on the part of the manager.
