I stopped by on the off chance they would have an opening for a haircut, and was lucky to arrive at the right time to get in immediately. My stylist was named Olivia and she was AMAZING! She listened to what I wanted and made a few excellent suggestions. I scheduled an appointment at 3:45 , they we behind but misrepresented the wait by saying you're next. When finished cutting one customer's hair, rather than going to the next customers they spent 15 minutes discussing hair products and ignoring the waiting room. When it was time for my haircut, they rushed me through and spent approximately 6.5 minutes doing my haircut and refuse to talk in what was the strangely alienating experience. I have been coming for approximately a decade to get my haircut every 3 to 4 weeks, this experience was a disaster in customer satisfaction. It appears they are putting all her time and effort and attention into higher price hair services such as coloring and treating basic haircut customers as second-class citizens. I understand that appointment times are approximate however, the failure to set and communicate expectations, misrepresenting the wait and the demeaning treatment as a catch-up customer was very disappointing. In fairness, this is the first time I had such a totally horrible experience. I had made an appointment at 12.30 pm. Had noticed a flat tire, so I called ahead and informed I cannot keep that appointment. I called back in a couple of hours once my tire was fixed, to make sure I could still get the service I need. Stephanie who answered stated that they actually don't do appointments, and its only walk-ins. So naturally I expected I will get services once I get there. There were 3 people ahead of me, so I waited patiently for their cuts to finish. By this time, there were 3 more people who walked in after me, and I was wondering why Stephanie was calling them ahead of me! No explanations were given. On enquiring, Stephanie informed me they had appointments!! It was the same Stephanie who had told me over the phone earlier that they don't accept appointments and only walk ins!!! Even the lady who was planing to give me a haircut agreed I was treated unfairly, but there was nothing she could do since Stephanie apparently runs the show that day!! Basically - I wasted close to two hours in this place and walked away promising myself never to return. It was totally unprofessional the way my situation was dealt with - and absolutely no apologies were offered. No effort made to rectify the situation. I find this unprofessional behavior unacceptable - and I highly recommend everyone reading this to look elsewhere for haircuts. read more

Well, this is the closest Supercuts to my house and right next to the store I shop at so it's typically pretty convenient. Months back I was told that the best way to check in was to use the app. Pick your time and check in and then go to the salon. I really don't mind having to wait what I do. Mind is not knowing how long the way it's going to be it could be 15 minutes or 35 minutes. Just depends on the person doing the checking in on the computer out front whether they take you first or someone else or my favorite even a walk in can be taken before you. So I check in and have a seat. 20 minutes later I was called and I go sit down and the girl proceeds to cut my hair. I typically like a clipper cut from my military days. I just like my haircut that way. So we're talking and she's scraping away at my scalp with the clippers, unfortunately I have a small mole at the base of my hairline and she didn't take any care this time and cut nearly half of it off. I felt this of course I didn't seem like a big deal. She finished up with my hair I paid and I left I get in the car and I have blood running down my neck from where this young lady cut me with the clippers, not bad enough that she cut me and didn't clean up the mess but she actually let me walk out of the store that way. I'm used to getting bad service, but this really pushes the edge of the envelope if you can't pay enough attention to take care with people then you shouldn't be cutting hair on anyone. I'm not exactly sure what to do about this. I'm going to contact corporate and let them know of the carelessness that I received today. I guess the best thing about all this is the young lady that cut my hair is going to a new location to become a manager ha ha ha ha ha I find this super amusing watch out people here she comes. Update: The stylist from my last trip is no longer there. This trip was for our favorite stylist! My family has been coming to see Tara since she worked at a different location and she is the BEST. Three haircuts and a wax later, we were all out the door in about an hour. She goes the extra mile, every time, to make sure we are all happy and to learn each our -isms so that the cut looks right. Friendly stylists, clean shop. Lots of men, families in here for haircuts. Tara, my stylist, did really nice Dutch braids for me. I told her I wanted them to last a while, and they are going to because they are really tight. She was fast and the price was right, $18. read more

So I went into Supercuts on Grant and Swan today on 2/29/2020 around 5:30 pm, and asked for a regular haircut, not a buzz cut but could you please cut it short enough so I don't have to comb it for a while. The lady who saw me obviously wasn't listening because she then proceeded to give me a buzzcut anyways. I certainly specificied no buzzcut, which should have told her to use scissors on top instead of a razor. Worst haircut of my life. They stink ! You may want to think twice about using them for a haircut, or in the least be VERY specific or they will screw your haircut up ! read more

I had a walk in haircut today after a 10 min wait. The stylist was pleasant and the shop was clean. I like my haircut.

I called ahead to be put on the list and was told that the wait was about twenty minutes. I arrived twenty-one minutes later only to find only two employees working. I then proceeded to wait for twenty-five minutes! Customer service does not seem to be a priority at this location. I doubt I'll be back. read more

I used to be a regular customer at this location, but the last two times I've checked in online, shown up on time and still had to wait over 20 minutes before I left since there were several people still waiting and no assurance I would be next. I have no problem waiting maybe 15 minutes, but I fail to see the point of making an appointment and it not being honored in a reasonable time.
