This has nothing to do with a service I received as I never got the chance to get my haircut. I…read morerecently moved back to the area and found a stylist that I liked. Unfortunately, she left the salon she was in and moved so I found myself once again searching for a salon. I made an appointment for Lakewood Ranch Hair Salon for Friday (today) at 10:30am. I advised I have short hair and wanted a short haircut and style. I did not even ask how much since I needed my haircut for an event in Naples on Saturday. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and I was told my stylist would be right out. My stylist came out and immediately apologized and said she would not be able to cut my hair because she is not good at pixie cuts and does not feel comfortable. She quickly told me another stylist could cut my hair on Saturday. That was not going to work as Saturday I had the event in Naples in the afternoon and in the morning I had another appointment. I don't understand why she or the receptionist could not have called me earlier to advise me of this. I could have scheduled someone else or gone to another salon. This is the most unprofessional way to handle a business. My appointment specifically stated short haircut and style. Did she not read the notes. Needless to say I will not be going back to that salon. Fortunately I found a salon in Naples that will get my haircut before the event.

His color expertise and his haircutting style is incredible and he has a wonderful pleasant personality to go along with it. I initially wondered why he would be at a mall salon but after my experience it completely changed my views. I was able to grab Starbucks and do some shopping when I was done and the parking was incredibly convenient. The staff was all incredibly friendly offering me wine, coffee, tea, water and magazines. It looked great. I told him it looked perfect that my hair has never looked so good. It was exactly what I wanted. I wanted my super thick hair thinned and not choppy. He then says he's going to make it "perfect." Im really confused because I just told him it looked perfect but I trusted him to just do some last minute trimming. Well next thing I know half my hair is gone. I'm in shock I said I wish you hadn't done that; tried to look on the bright side and think of how it'll always grow back. I paid, ran out the door and have been crying ever since. I don't see any layers left. I have short bangs and half my hair chopped off. It feels thicker on the ends than when I started. It is literally a nightmare. I cannot put my hair up in a bun anymore without a hair tie because it's so bluntly cut on the ends. Wish I never went in, I'll have to wait a year for it to all grow out. In the meantime I have to spend extra time to get extensions put in. The reason I'm writing this is because had he stopped and just done what I had asked i would have been really enjoying this hair cut. I can't go back and fix it but I do hope Lucas reads this and starts actually listening to his customers so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I went in with a picture today and asked if she could do it, if she couldn't to say so. I have straight hair. Have had it short most of my life. Hands me a mirror at the end. From a distance it looks fine. Up close. OMG. I have a bald spot where she cut way too short. It's choppy and wasn't blended midway down the back of my head. I sent her the pics my husband took and she says she did a good job! NEVER have I had to go for a 2nd cut to get my hair fixed or asked for my money back, but I did with this. I've got to go get it fixed and no idea how short it'll end up. To be clear, I contacted the stylist via text with these same pictures when I got home. She did not apologize, ask if I would let her fix it or say I'm sorry. Her response was I did a good job and offered me a partial refund. The owner is concerned about her stylists and reputation of her salon but won't offer to fix it or give me a refund for a bad cut. I would let another stylist fix it, even the owner, but not the person who did this. She should be trying to redeem her salon if she's that concerned
